Just about everything. First car had rock damage to the windshield and I was asked to sign off on the existing damage to the car prior to inspecting. The entire facility is trashy and dirty. The worst part is the EZpass charge. Because of the EZpass charge alone, I will not rent from advantage again5,6 Fair

Pros:
The drop off was great. Service in Atlanta was very fast and contactless. The rental hold money was returned quickly following drop off. The car ran fine.Cons:
The car was not very clean either inside or outside upon pickup. The car was not available at the pick up time and I had to wait about 45 minutes to an hour for a vehicle to arrive that I could use. The person checking me in was not forthcoming about the amount Alamo was going to charge my card which caused unnecessary confusion during pickup. I have used Alamo before and did not have any problems when renting in other states so my family will likely rent from them again in the future. Maybe it was the ERW airport having an off day.Budget

They took a deposit and it was not returned within a week, which is when I am writing this review. Spoke on the phone with them yesterday, was told they would refund money that day, but not done. An unprofessional operation - there was no receipt given at return.3,6 Poor

Good on gas. Remember, Jersey has gas station attendants. You do not pump your own gas.Cons:
2012 vehicle. Bubble on front right tire. Windshield wiper smacking right pilar. Many nicks and dings over the entire car which, as it turns out, blended in with most vehicles in Jersey... Only after you make to reservation you find out where the rental location is. Take the train to the "hotel pickup". Don't go to the "Rental Car" station. READ THE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY!8,0 Very Good

Pros:
the car was very old and was malfunctioning. I could barely drive up-hill as the engine was stalling. I had difficulty passing other cars as I couldn't accelerate due to engine problems, I guess? This car should have not been in service as it wasn't safe for the driver or for the passing traffic. Additionally, Ace charged me $350 on my credit card even though I prepaid for the rental. I never got a receipt for the charge and I'm disputing it with my credit card. Ace office was old and smelly, the employees were smoking cigarettes in the office. Terrible experience for a car rental. I will never use ACE againHertz

The car itself was fine, the pickup process was fine, the reps were friendly enough.Cons:
Because it was Sunday for car dropoff, I used the key-drop to return the car/keys. BUT, when I closed the key-drop drawer, the lock on the key-return box fell off (was never properly locked) and the whole door fell open, exposing all of the keys that had been dropped off. If an unscrupulous person got access to all the keys, they could have taken any vehicle, etc. Of course, I took pictures to document this situation.4,0 Mediocre
