Arrived for my 6pm pickup at 6:02PM to find lights off, no one around and store locked up. Was hung up on twice when calling their customer service to try to get the pickup rescheduled for a time that fit the companies schedule better.Cons:
An idea would be to not schedule a pickup for 6PM if you are closing the door at 6PM. Or maybe a check in call for a renter who has a late rental to make sure their flight wasnt delayed or provide an alternate pickup for them.2,0 Poor

Long line because the checkout process hasn't changed in 30 years. Slow computers and too many unnecessary steps. Person offered me a pickup truck to get out faster. Got to the truck and someone else was in it. Then they gave me another car which was smoked in. Had to return to another Avis. They had no cars to swap but gave me a minivan that didn't have smoke, but wasn't clean. Worst rental experience ever. Will never use Avis ever again. It will go bankrupt.Hertz

Pros:
The first time I attempted to start the car after picking it up it engine light came on and it would not turn over. I had the road side assistance pick up the vehicle and called the hertz location. They said the would call me back when the vehicle arrived there and never did. I missed my window to be able to drive to a wedding and had to by a plane ticket at the last minute costing 500 more dollars than I intended on spending. I will never use them again!4,4 Mediocre

Pickup:Wasted an 30 minutes picking up my rental because the gentlemen entered the expiration date on my card multiple times. Car reeked of cigarettes. Passenger window need to be realigned. It made an irritating whistling sound if I drove on the highway. Drop-off: Lady try to charge me an extra 55 dollars for returning the car a quarter tank short. On a Nissan Sentra that would fill up with less than half that amount. She accepted my $10 bill and we moved on. Which I was perplexed even more because the dispute didn't take long. It was if she was just trying to get more money out of me. Not even sure she followed company policy, whether right or wrong.Enterprise Rent-A-Car
