Pros: I live in Austin and we experienced a winter storm which caused United to cancel my flight to New Orleans. I called and cancelled my car rental due to the unprecented winter storm. Hertz only refunded me $43. They kept $50 of my money even though this was not my fault at all. I won’t use kayak or hertz again.

Cons: The car smelled like smoke and was missing the gas cap. I also received no instructions on returning the car on a Sunday when Hertz is closed.

Pros: We showed up to Hertz to pick up our car and waited about 15 minutes in line to be helped when the manager came out and said he couldn’t help us and they were closed and no longer renting out cars due to the bad weather. He “apologized” that the two workers at the desk did not notify us but said the most he could do was have us come back tomorrow at 12. We missed our tour and lost our money and even worse they made us wait outside to figure out a way to get back in town since we were stranded! When asked why we weren’t notified so we didn’t waste our time he said we tried to send emails but maybe we missed you. The person next to us waiting was in the same boat and said he never received a text, email or call either so clearly that was a lie. Worst service I’ve ever experienced would not recommend this Hertz.Cons: What couldn’t have been better!

Pros: Nothing. Horrible service.Cons: You booked the pickup time for a time after their business closed on Saturday. Hertz then sent us to the airport location, where there was a huge wait only to find out they didn’t have any available cars. When we went to go get the car when they reopened on Monday, we waited in a long line again only to be told they didn’t have a car for us (and wouldn’t have had one even if they had been open when we tried to get it the first time).

Pros: Nothing really.Cons: I could have driven away with a rental car. Instead I waited an hour and the car never showed up and I wasted $22 in round trip ubers just to go home and rent a car from another company.

Cons: The Staff.. they were rude.. I booked a car in advance for Labor Day weekend.. sent me confirmation and charged me.. I get there and what they have to tell me is they don’t have any cars to give.. what a pathetic group.. I was stuck in New Orleans for like 2 days cuz they didn’t have a car and I had to depend on a family member driving from hours away just to come get me at the last minute

Great Service!Pros: The folks at my local Enterprise took great care of me. I had rented a car too small for my need and they worked out a good price for me on a larger car. They were fast, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended!Cons: It would be nice if they were open a little later in the evening but, other than that, my local Enterprise is great.

Pros: The 1019 Baronne St Enterprise, in New Orleans, is by far the best rental car office I've ever used. Friendly, efficient, and decent. Almost shocking. Jerome, the manager, runs a good ship. Pro tip: they offer free local pick-up & drop off service. Awesome service.

Cons: I put in to book at the Louis Armstrong’s airport in New Orleans and When I go to the airport the rental was about 20 mins away at another rental location. I had to rent another vehicle at a higher price there. I was very specific when I keyed in my location. I was very disappointed

Pros: Houston staff was helpful and understanding.Cons: Pickup in New Orleans could have been better: the representative did not give us a chance to inspect the car nor did he notate the amount of gas in the tank. Luckily we took a photo showing the tank was not full when we received the car, because in Houston at drop off they were expecting the car to be full until we explained and had the picture as proof. We also discovered while driving that one of the headlights was out, which the New Orleans representative did not inform us/note down, but the Houston representative noticed immediately before we even told him.

Pros: Staff and cleanliness and accessibilityCons: Thought it was a little expensive but in hindsight I think it was the fact that Louisiana state tax is 25% so that amped up the price. Good car overall. It may need an oil change and the transmission feels weird in lower RPMs

Pros: Nothing. I booked a car and when we got there we were told there were no cars for us. Nothing was offered to make the experience right besides "you could wait about 5 hours."Cons: Having a car available! Or, not letting me book a car online when none were available.

Pros: The staff at pick-up were curt, rude, and seemed annoyed when I pointed out they didn't review the condition of the car and there were scratches. The drop off staff were lovely, however.Cons: Following the proper procedure when providing a rental.

Pros: Pickup on Poydras St was convenient for us after getting off a cruise ship. Drop off in Baton Rouge also good, since we were near the terminal. Liked the CarPlay system for navigation.Cons: Car was dirty with half tank of gas.
