I waited 30 min and they couldn't decide which car to give me. I ended up with a smaller car which was fine except it was very dirty inside, the tire light came on. For $95/day you don't send out a car that looks like its 30 years old. I wasn't going to wait for another car so just took it. I heard the supervisor on the phone telling someone they were short handed but there were 4 employees inside. Not sure who was around back cleaning cars. I had a reservation so not sure what the issues were. Car should have been ready.10,0 Wonderful

The weather was turning bad. Thunderstorms rolling in. However, the Budget representative was there and got me into my car and on the way quickly.Cons:
I picked my car up at 11am. I was a little early, instead of the noon scheduled pick up. The Budget representative said the weather was bad, so he figured no one would be there and he was about to leave. If I had got there at the scheduled time, would I have found the office closed prematurely? I'll never know, but I'm sure glad we got there early! The final price was 50% more than the booked price. That was a nasty surprise which will have me looking elsewhere next time.8,0 Very Good

Agent was helpful and helped out with a aurplus charge that the airport added without my consent. There is a $13 fee if you return the car with less than 70 miles between pick up and drop off, so look for that.Car hire locations in or near Hammond
