Pick up was great -- staff at the Halifax airport desk were friendly and quick. Drop off was the easiest and fastest we've ever experienced in 30 years of travel. And the staff member who checked us in was very personable and polite. Will absolutely use Avis again for our next trip. Thanks for the great service!

Tried to upcharge me for winter tires that I did not want because they did not have a suitable car in the class I paid for. Ended up with a lower class of car but would not refund the difference in cost. Charged for a tank of gas at drop off even though the tank was filled. Will NOT rent from Hertz in the future.

I only had a $1000 limit on my credit card, the company was very helpful and let me pay the car in separate payments by extending the car rental as I paid of my card.. I had just got back from a poor experience from a different car rental company and was very stressed as I didn’t know how I was going to get a car rental. Enterprise/ National car rental helped me out a great deal and I’m very thankful for the worker who helped me out that day!
