Pros:
The car was clean and the price was very fair. However, see below...Cons:
I rented a certain class for not only the luxury comfort, but for the size. However, Dollar did not have the car I rented. They first tried to down grade me to a lower class, but larger car. I did not think this was fair so I did not agree. We went through the options and I explained, due to having two of my elder uncles with me and their need for a larger car, I needed something larger. Eventually a larger car was offered, but at a much higher rate. Again, I did not agree as a car in my category should have been available to me. Eventually I was offered another luxury vehicle (supposedly in the same class), but much smaller and the entire weekend we had difficulty getting my uncles in and out of it. Due to the inability to have a car ready for me in the class I rented I would have preferred the “upgrade” to an adequate car but the agent would not agree without additional payment to which I did not think was fair.10,0 Wonderful

The location I was given to pick up the car was closed, and had been for months. The next closest Hertz did not have any cars available. I had to go to another car rental company entirely. I don't know how the system allowed me to make a reservation here. I had to spend an hour on the phone afterward to be sure I got a refund for the whole ordeal.8,8 Very Good

Pros:
I like that they are open until 7pm because a lot of people get off from work at 6pm. In most other places closes at 6, but the location at kettle Road in South San Jose was the only one that was open till 7 and It gave me enough time to get there on time.Cons:

I didn't like that in spite of telling them I didn't pre-pay and I didn't want to pre-pay my gas, they did it anyway. So I ended up paying 40 extra dollars. Won't rent from Hertz again.Enterprise

The Watsonville enterprise office cancelled our rental 2 hours before we were supposed to have picked it up. Their office gave no alternatives, despite the fact that we had the vehicle reserved for 3 weeks ahead of time.Cons:
I had to do the work of tracking down a replacement vehicle at the last minute. Al, who works at the enterprise on Ocean St. in Watsonville, did an amazing job to help us. He stayed past closing time to get us a vehicle in time.8,4 Very Good

Cons:
Enterprise allowed me to rent the car online. The employees had to call and inform me that they didn’t have any cars. To their credit, they did this right away and I appreciate that. The Enterprise company should not be advertising cars they don’t have.9,6 Wonderful
