Car was nice, staff was nice. Pickup was okay. Drop off was good. Rate was good.Helpful staff, but the super sneaky and difficult policies really make me never want to rent from this place again. Spirit changed my flight and I had to pay a rebooking fee just to change a couple hours over. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I really didn't enjoy dealing with the whole ordeal. I have to drop off exactly where I picked up otherwise... you guessed it... a fee. Car was not that clean and the handles for seat adjustment were sticky. Gross. If you are fine dealing with a little hassle or potential disappointment for a decent rate, this might be a good fit.

Staff was warm and helpful.Car was a bit banged-up, but nothing impactful. Their computer system however would not accept my driver's license. Luckily it would my husband's, or we would have had a real problem.

NothingThey did not have any SUVs secondary to a system error and did not tell us about the error until we arrived and offered zero compensation. When we tried to call the company it is set up not to talk to a person. Very frustrating

The car was comfortable and a great value.It is challenging to travel these days due to concerns about COVID and Sixt employees didn't help. When I picked up the car, I was asked to wait outside to maintain social distancing, which I understand, but it was said rudely and when a second customer arrived, that customer wasn't asked to wait outside, which I don't understand. In the meantime, one employee behind the counter was eating and another person, coughing. The staff tried to sell me additional insurance with a story about what would happen if the rental broke down while on the road, even after I let them know that I had already purchased additional insurance through Kayak. The car itself wasn't as clean as I expected, even though the website said that there were enhanced cleaning procedures. It smelled like a sandwich and I found crushed chips and a straw under the passenger side seat. Again, not very comforting in the middle of a pandemic. When I returned the car, the employee behind the counter barely glanced up from his phone and asked whether the gas tank was full, even though I received the car with 3/4 of a tank. There was no inspection or anything so fingers crossed everything went well—not a very reassuring drop off. I really liked driving the car but everything else about this experience was not so enjoyable.

Nothing.Everything. That location needs a complete overhaul. You guys are very inconcerderated of peoples time. I won't come back and I'll never refer anyone. This location/company lacks professionalism greatly.

The two men working at drop off were excellent and had great customer service.The “manager” working at pickup was rude and nasty. The pickup process was not timely. The car wasn’t cleaned and was missing a headlight which they said don’t worry about it is only a fog light so you can’t get a ticket!

The staff was super friendly, professional and provided in and out service.The outside of the car was not clean, but the staff offered to get it washed if I had the time to wait. Also, the gas tank was not full and they did not mention it until I came back to the counter - then they told me they already knew. However, my contract indicated the gas was 8/8.

The car smelled of cigarette smoke. All the windows were down and I was wearing a face mask, so I didn’t realize until I drove away and took off the mask and rolled the windows up.

Best employee everAt the Loews Hotel Hertz counter the employee, Randy, was wonderful even under stress. I usually only use Enterprise but Randy made using Hertz a pleasure!I did not like that Herts tried to charge me $40 when I could not change my original reservation to start earlier so I canceled that reservation and made a new one for the same dates and pick up and drop off just longer house and upgrade of car. Hurts was going to charge me a $40 cancellation fee.

Too ExpensiveThe car had XM radio and a USB jackThe car was super expensive and they charge you extra for your spouse to be on the car. Enterprise has never done this and offers it for free to the spouse.

Reservation problemsThe employee I worked with was apologetic and tried to help.Reserved the car online but they didn't hold my reservation due to a computer issue on their end. I had to then book a car on the spot and will have to contact customer service to get a refund for the original reservation.

Offered reservation; refused to supply a carI made an off-airport reservation at a midtown Atlanta location. Then, 30 min, later received a call from that location saying---"Don't come, we don't have cars." (And would not have cars the following day, either.) If you know you won't have cars at a location, don't take reservations for cars at that location!

Failure!!!Nothing!!!They cancelled the rental at the last minute since they didn't have any cars. Attempts to resolve the situation with both the rental location and Hertz customer service did not receive a response. I was attempting to visit a serially ill relative and was stranded without a car! Please have some one in your organization contact me to discuss this problem. Extremely long lineWhen arriving at the Avis counter at ATL, there was at least 30 to 50 people on line. I waited about 30 minutes and the line moved about 5 feet. I decided to check with other rental car company with no waiting. I got the same price with National at the counter including the insurance. The employee at Avis were clueless when asking questions. Not typical for AvisThe vehicle was ok. That is the only positive comment I can make.The staff at the location was so far below any professional standard it was unsettling. Further more, Avis customer care, had no concern or desire to better the situation, that wouldnt have cost me more money.
