Cons:
I never got a car. The reservation was made the same day and the girl told me that there was not enough time to get a car there. I was then put on a waiting list at both locations in Owensboro. I never got a call about the reservation even the next today. Was in Owensboro, KY visiting, with no car for the weekend. I would have expected at least a call the next day. At that point, there was no reason to get a car because I was leaving town Monday. I have rented a car many times before in my travels back to Owensboro, and never experienced this. I was very disappointed and had to change many plans due to not having a car available.6,0 Okay

Cons:
We rented online and it was Fri to Sat night at 11pm quoted $109 and then after paying the $109 we was also charged extra and told at the local dealer we’d be charged until Mom even more money, so we cancelled all together. Not a good way to do business at all. We was lied to online. We normally rent from Enterprise ( for 13 years ) never will from Hertz.8,4 Very Good

Melanie at the Owensboro location was super. I loved the pick-up service.Cons:
The Nissan Versa had design flaws. The driver's floor mat would not stay in position. Any movement of the fob caused the trunk to open.2,0 Poor

Cons:
all I did was drop off car in Owensboro. the clerk said he would take off $10 because of the smoke smell and that was the best he could do. The person who picked me up also commented on how bad the car smelled of smoke.9,2 Wonderful

Pros:
Matthew the Manager was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Car was perfect for what I needed. Only suggestion - Bertz needs a key drop box at airport or partner w Enterprise to allow guests to leave keys with gen. For Walt or late flights - you still have to go to their location, leave the car and then take a taxi. In today's world that extra expense is not needed. Or they should have an extra set of keys. I'm sure they do but it's probably not as easy for them to get the car - but I would recommend they consider that.Easirent
