The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The check-in check-out process was fast and pain-less, surprisingly easy especially considering our current circumstances.Just one trivial detail could have been better, the car itself could have been equipped with more usb charging ports. Also, I wish I had inquired about the ezpass before our road trip.

Too much for so littleN/AUpgraded car to small SUV cause car was too small for luggage. Ended up paying $95/day more. Clearly taking advantage of consumer. It’s enough for me to choose another car rental company. Drop off was met with poor customer service. Somewhat rude. Not good!

Enterprise rental plymouth MAAll employees at the Plymouth office were excellent. Very nice and generous.I wish I was aware that they only had a van available but that's sort of my fault too for not asking ahead of time. Everything else was great.. great experience. Way better then when I have to rent from Budget in Wareham, they are terrible.

Pickup experience was mediocre. Tank was half full. Left rear tire had low pressure. Cleanliness was mediocre. Desk clerk was absent-minded - forgot she had two customers waiting in the next room. She could not get my preferred credit card to take. Seemed not proficient with check out process. E-toll use was confusing. First desk agent did not explain what messages we would see at till plazas even though we had purchased eToll. Customer service told us to go to an Avis location and get a transponder. That desk agent said none was needed - the toll plazas will take pictures of the license plate and bill Avis. Hopefully we wont see any nastygrams later. Car was very comfortable, and ran well on highways and in heavy traffic.

The woman at the Falmouth location was helpful and friendly. The car was quite literally perfect (new).Personally, I think another sign or two marking the location of the office would be good. Also, I'm surprised how much pen and paper is involved. Speaking of pens, if they're going to require you to write mileage/fuel etc. on a piece of paper when you drop off, then there should be a pen in the car or next to the dropbox!

The Avis rental office was unstaffed for 3 hours despite being open according to their hours and Avis customer service. Customer service could not get in touch with anyone who was supposed to be on shift. I was stranded there for 3 hours before having to book a hotel. Their only option for me was to take a 200 dollar Uber to Boston Logan Airport that Avis would not cover

Nothing. Zero. First time user and "never again".Wanted (and booked) a one day rental on Martha's Vineyard, MA. Checked the pick up location; close to the ferry. Excellent. I confirmed. The confirmation now switched to Falmouth, MA, where I live. Was supposed to pick up the car on Gifford St. on the Vineyard. NOT Gifford St. in Falmouth. Can't cancel through Hertz; "gotta go through Kayak". Kayak says "no refunds or cancellations, gotta go through Hertz". Horribly run company. Never again using Kayak.

Car smelled heavily of cigarette smokeIt was easy enough the retrieve car.Car smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, like it’d been smoked in a lot more than once. There was a bottle of Fabreeze under the drivers seat. While picking up the car the attendant filled out the survey upon renting the car (asking if the car was clean etc.) for us and didn’t acknowledge the questions to US. Probably won’t rent from this Hertz location again.

The lady was rude and kept reminding me I was late and she didn't have to give me a car. It took us over an hour to pick up the car. She was entering something in the system wrong decimals on the rate and it wouldn't allow her to move on with the transaction. She was yelling and screaming profanity at the computer. It appears they are extremely short handed.

ScrewjobWe were driving from Falmouth MA to Boston which is just a little over a hour away. When we got to Boston I had put in the address of the rental place to return the car to. It turned out to be a storefront with no place to park the car and we had no directions on where to take it. I tried to call the rental company and I could not get through to them. In fact I was on hold for over 5 minutes and then they hung up on me. Without anyone answering. We finally had to park out in the street and one of us ran in and asked where to take the car and it turned out to be in a parking garage down the street. We had tried to find a gas station in Boston to fill the tank back up with gas but were unable to find one anywhere. So we decided to go ahead and take the car back because we use such a small amount of gas. They charged us $30 for gas and it should have only been for about 2-3 gallons.
