There are trendy shops, harbor-front cafes, and bars within walking distance of the hotel and you can also stroll to the Naval Museum and Roman Theater. The 100 rooms at NH Cartagena are decorated in a contemporary color scheme of browns, greens, and whites. Some rooms have private terraces and many look out over the ocean. Our breakfast features a wide variety of options including cereals, yogurt, cold cuts, cheeses, and fruit accompanied by fragrant coffee and fresh juices. The Cibus Gastrobar is a trendy space offering a fun menu of bite-sized tapas inspired by Mediterranean flavors. Enjoy gin from our special selection along with your meal. For casual conversation over a drink, there is a comfortable lobby bar. The hotel also has three functional meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 95 people.
7,1 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Excellent view from our room. Ideal location.
Cons: Lack of lighting in the room not great. I like ambient lighting, but you do need to provide a bright main light for practical reasons. No kettle in the room, which is very unusual - even very budget hotels usually have kettles with tea and coffee. Not very sound-proofed for a modern hotel - very easy to hear people talking and slamming doors in the hallway. Car park very tight for parking - nerve-wracking when you have hire car you are trying not to scratch.

Pros: The bedroom was extremely well appointed and comfortable, it was kept very clean and had some nice touches like the provision of tea and coffee. Although on a busy main road, noise insulation was good with the window closed.
Cons: The location of the hotel , just for the benefit of other travellers, - it took us 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the main high street and shopping area. Not a problem if you are able bodied or prepared for it.

7,9 Good
Pros: Room was quiet and comfortable , TV,mini fridge and safe were useful . Restaurant food was good for dinner , but the breakfast was not that great ,very limited choice ! The staff were very nice and helpful .
Cons: The WiFi did not work properly on the 4th floor ,however we were then given a room on the 2nd floor and it worked properly The glasses were not replaced in the room daily ,they were just rinsed out and left in the bathroom ,they still had the pulp from the orange juice stuck in them . There was shampoo but no conditioner in the bathroom . No facilities for spa treatments or leisure activities .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like it there because, it was very comfortable and near commercial center.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: everything else was perfect
Cons: hotel is outside the city
5,8 Okay
Pros: Clean and comfortable with available free parking.
Cons: Far from the center of town but most of the time this is the case if you need parking. If you ask for an extra towel you will be told you have enough until you insist and they finally relent. Being from the US this might be a European thing I dont know. Are the staff afraid of theft or extra wash? Is it really worth escalating the request just short of an argument.
6,3 Good
Pros: Modern business hotel on the edge of an industrial estate. Large, clean, comfortable rooms with modern decor. Plenty of outdoor parking on site. Little traffic noise considering it's proximity to the main road.
Cons: Was a 10 Euro taxi ride to the town centre. Bar and restaurant not open on a Sunday night, nearest local option for food is the food court in a nearby shopping centre.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Downtown Location Parking nearby (€11/day) Big room Huge bathroom Clean Friendly staff (in the afternoon only)
Cons: Most of the day the reception was staffed with a rather grumpy elderly man who would only mutter something reluctantly when directly addressed (I speak Spanish, so language was not an issue) - not someone who makes you feel welcome at all! Later in the afternoons a very friendly and helpful young woman took over - what a difference that made! I couldn’t quite cope with the foam mattress and the foam pillows, but that is of course highly individual!
7,9 Good
Pros: Great place to stay. Nice and comfortable. I really liked the little balcony that faces the forum ruins. Nice graffiti arts on the side as well. Very quiet spot.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very clean room with terrific balcony overlooking roman ruins. Location is very central for all of Cartagena.
7,5 Good
Pros: Clean, spacious room, comfortable bed.
Cons: Unfortunately I could hear noise from other rooms, ie showering, tap water running, cupboards opening&closing, also wardrobes sliding open. It seemed the least amount of noise I could hear!

Cons: Was a little on the noisy side.

7,9 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Poor Internet Signal at Room
5,4 Okay
Pros: Check out time and price. Free toiletries useful.
Cons: Location OK but wouldn't like to walk out in the evening on my own. Additional bed in the room was put directly in front of the wardrobe which made it impossible to use the wardrobe, Room for a double bed and single along the main wall which would have worked far better than 3 singles. Cleanliness an issue, e.g. bedside lamps covered in dust. Went to use the hairdryer and the plug socket came away from the wall. Outside terrace cafe/bar a little shabby. Couldn't figure out the parking arrangements in front of the hotel as it was Pay and Display, we ended up parking around the corner and walking to the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was sufficient
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like

6,7 Good
Pros: Right next to a fantastic beach. Close to supermarkets and cafes (not restaurants) Spa was excellent Very cheap for what you're getting, so good value.
Cons: Staff have very poor English and many notifications are not translated No response to advance email queries (likely because in English) Many paid extras, such as safe keys and deck chairs, although this is how they keep the price low Cleaning staff march into rooms with little warning About 30 minutes walk from any good Spanish restaurants (Asian restaurant next door though) Breakfast coffee and orange juice very poor quality No coffee at all at lunchtime buffet.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No food available most of the time limited choice no labelling food poor tasting
4,0 Okay
Pros: The room was lovely, and we have a beautiful view! Was lovely for relaxing around the pool and on the beach Good drink measurements
Cons: Most of the staff couldn’t speak English We were over charged for our room and they wouldn’t listen Full of rude Spanish people and kept staring at us like we were animals or something The all inclusive drink hours until 7pm was bad because we then had to pay for drinks at night The food was OK some days but other times was shockingly bad! You have to make sure you get to breakfast early too or everything is gone. We ate out whenever there was no food or the food just looked to bad defiantly a place for just Spanish people wouldn’t recommend to English and I wish I knew this before booking! Also one of the cleaners kept talking to us loudly in Spanish and every time I said “I’m English I don’t know what your saying” she would then carry on talking Spanish and loud like she’s shouting , crazy women
8,3 Excellent
Pros: All inclusive finished at 7pm
Cons: Location was great
7,5 Good
