- It on the street and easy to hear all the cars/moto passing by - bathroom cleaning should be better especially in COVID times
Close to everything, i.e. 50m to the public and private beach, and still quite. Friendly and helpful staff. Very unique.
Quirky and Arty and the entrepreneurial owners labour of love project! A lot of hands on input went into the design. It is basic yes but comfortable and safe and clean and in a great location. It is what it says on the tin! Friendly and welcoming. David very nice and helpful and Anna too.
Slight musty odour on entering premises I’d try to eradicate that! Smelled like my granny’s not sure why as no carpets or drapes suggest a bit of bleach or a good airing maybe?
great localization friendly stuff air conditioned room

A gem of a boutique hotel, nestled in one of the side streets of Le Suquet, the Old Town of Cannes. The location is perfect, right next door to the pretty Square Mistral and 1 minute from the beachfront with its glorious views of the Bay of Cannes. There are a plethora of excellent cafes and restaurants along the seafront Boulevard du Midi Jean Hibert and Promenade de la Pantiero. Whether you're there on holiday to soak up the sunshine and culture or on business to bask in the glitz and glamour of the film festival, Boutique Hotel Couleurs Suds is a pleasant place to stay. A short 10-15 minute walk via the scenic harbour area to the centre of Cannes, the Palais des Festivals on the Boulevard de La Croisette and the main shopping areas around the Rue d'Antibes. The hotel itself is cute and cosy, and each room is decorated individually within the rustic French style. David, the owner and manager, is very friendly, helpful and kind. I was one of the first guests to arrive that week so was able to choose my room - a cute, quiet and bright space overlooking the balconies and rooftops at the back of the hotel. He was there to welcome me personally and carried my bags up to my room, and afterwards was always on hand to offer assistance and give recommendations. The room was charming, had a comfortable bed with clean bedding and contained a decent sized ensuite shower room, as well as a TV, fridge, kettle, safe, writing desk and had air-con. The wifi was great, the lighting good, and the room was cleaned every day of my stay. It was just what I was looking for, as a solo traveller who was there to attend the festival. I enjoyed my visit and plan to go there again in future.
It's old fashioned shabby chic, which isn't for everyone - but I adored the place with its unique charm that you just don't get anywhere else!
