I had an upgrade to an executive room which was nice. The breakfast was very good.
Someone knocked on the door at 7 am and told me it's a wakeup call although I didn't ask for one. At around 9:30 I had someone else knocking on the door but I didn't answer and still the room door was opened then closed, so I assume it was the house keeping.
My room has not met my excpectation at all ..old furniture..bad old TV not responding to remot control.aircond not working well. Besides spent all night trying to reach the reception on phone. BREAKFAST WAS NOT THAT GOOD COMPARED TO MY PREVIOUS experience in nearby hotels...no wide varieties
Almost every thing
Old furniture and old style
The staff were super friendly, especially Mayada from the front desk team and chef Essam from the main restaurant team. Also the housekeeping team were very polite and attentive. The breakfast buffet was very good and varied in terms of item selection. The bed linens were always clean and fresh. And the pillows and mattress were comfortable. The hotel balconies are very spacious and give you a nice view of the Nile even if your room wasn’t facing it directly. As a family of 6 we had a very convenient stay having connected rooms with double beds that comfortably accommodated our children without having to split in rooms that weren’t connected!
The room furnishings are a bit worn out and could use some renovations although they are all sturdy and of good quality materials.
