We were transferred to the older Solmar Resort to quarantine for Covid. The staff was very nice, but the rooms are very old, the TVs are about 32" wide and hang from the ceiling, so you can only watch them when you're laying down in bed. There wasn't even a chair in my room I could use. The room service food was plentiful, but not very flavorful and they have very few healthy items on the menu. Ho...

Cons (-) The staff in the front office were incredibly rude to myself and family. They did not have a room for us and instead of being apologetic, described it as “our lucky day.” They tried to send us to their sister hotel, 20 minutes away, away from the beach and town. Cons (-) The price for the facilities was not reflective of the age of the hotel. The facilities seemed like it was from the 70's but the price was for something in the 2000's. The beach was not open for swimming either. There was not shuttle to downtown CABO. This seemed impractical since it was probably about 1.5 miles to downtown. Pros (+) Beautiful smaller resort. Love the beach and pool as well as the swim up bar. Clean rooms with a spectacular view.
Cons (-) A view updates are needed on the rooms but otherwise wonderful place!
