Very Poor Staff Experience
Great location near Church Street and within walking distance of Central Burlington's attractions.
Very poor welcome and interaction with staff. As a family member of a Marriott employee, I utilized the Explore Rate discount for family members. My initial greeting was a very cold "I can't believe we're offering that rate tonight" followed by what felt like an interrogation about my relationship to the Marriott employee (my mother). A packet of room keys was tossed across the counter my way with no explanation of where the elevators were, how the parking lot worked, etc. Upon asking, I got a repeated "I just can't believe we're offering that rate tonight". Very very poor way to treat the family members of fellow Marriott associate.
Accommodating and Understanding
The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had a terrible experience the evening before, so we switched to the Courtyard. Seeing and listening to what happened, the staff did their best to allow us to take care of our vehicle while we waited for our room, and even accommodated an early check-in because of our needs. Thank you so much! You saved the 4th of July for us!!!
