The location wasn't bad close to Cabildo. The building was an old, with great bones. Unfortunately it was completely wasted by the ownership, who doesn't bother maintaining it.
They tried to charge extra taxes took an hour to fix, bathroom door didn't close and faucet leaked all over floor. Woke us up to pounding on the door claiming they put us in the wrong room and if we didn't move quickly they would call the police. Put us in a room where bath door again didn't close, and shower water heat could not be turned down to the point of burning my back and needing to buy burn cream. Found six cigarette butts and garbage under bed. Owner refused to speak to us.
Staff did not help us with any of our requests. The air conditioner made lot of noise.
As a whole it was much better than comparable Buenos Aires hostleries
It was fine
Bare bones accommodation, but everything was to a functional standard. Cable tv was fun. there is a church nearby if you're into that. Near to the embassies and chinatown, which is why I was there.
The house is beautiful. It is well located, close to the Subte and many bus stops around. The air conditioner was good in the room and the wifi was good everywhere. The cleaner goes everyday to your room. The staff was helpful in general except just one of the 3 guys that didn't even talk to us.
The bathroom was a completely mess, the shower doesn't have a proper space then you have to clean all the water from the shower... it was a mess. The breakfast is soooo sugary that we didn't take it even though it was included. The juices were not natural (I'm fuzzy with the breakfast) Probably was just our room but the ceiling was leaking every time that was raining. Therefore the room got a bit humid. The blinds didn't open completely so we couldn't enjoy the view of the interior of the house which is nice because it is full of plants... they changed us of room but the second one was also leaking, it is an old house so we decided to stayed there regardless.
