Car was not ready when I arrived. They had to clean cars as they were rented and customers had to wait for rentals. Agent was very friendly and helpful, which was a plus. It was out of her control.Reviewed Apr 25 2023

The guy at the desk seen me waiting and waiting in line I'm still waiting for him to look my way so I can go to the counter and when the guy seen what I was renting the mustang, them he tells me that my credit card isn't acceptable to rent one there cars. 5 years I have not ever been denied to rent with my credit card. RACIST? Quite as kept I bet anyone of yall I have rented more cars then he sit behind that desk selling cars. RACIEST?Reviewed Apr 22 2023

Called emergency road side to assist. No one came and couldn’t get a hold of dispatch. Never received text confirming someone was coming after operator said to expect one. After 2 hours called highway patrol and they came to help. It was 10 degrees out. Made it home and never received anything from Budget. No text, no follow up, left for dead. I was promised an economy car in writing from Budget for $186.00 including taxes. When I arrived, I was given a choice of either a 15 passenger van, or a large pickup truck! When I complained, the very rude lady at the desk said that’s all they have, and wanted to charge me over $400 for 2 days. I finally took the pickup, but at 73 years old, I had a hard time getting in an out of this huge truck. Horrible experience and service! NEVER AGAIN will I use Budget! There was a 40-minute wait at the check-in counter, even though no other car rental facilities had any line. Budget should do more to staff their office appropriately. There is a mask mandate at the airport, and yet two of the three Budget staffers (both men in their 20s) were not wearing masks, even when dealing with elderly customers. The car had trash under the seats, in the arm rest, and while it was generally clean enough, it had not been checked carefully. The car had 7/8 of a tank of gas upon pickup--it was not full as promised. I was not impressed with this rental experience.Reviewed Feb 1 2022
