This hotel is quite close to Brescia city centre. Rooms are quite big and very clean. We stayed at the annex so I can't say what the other rooms loke like. Bathroom disproportionally large and very clean. In the room were basic amenities, wardrobe and TV. Private parking was very big bonus. The building itself is quite amazing, even though I didn't have time to explore it all. The incredible stucco and painted stairway is quite astonishing. The staff were very polite and helpful.
This was an interesting experience. Rooms have been renovated sometime in the nineties, but lack some modern amenities and felt quite basic (even though they must have been luxury at the time). I have been quite surprised to find a classic wool blanket under the bed covers (this took me back to my youth:-). The rest of the furniture was in a good shape, but the room would need some updating to get it into the 21st century feel. I had a feeling I was staying more in a monastery than a hotel. The bathroom was missing the ususal soap and stuff (or maybe I just didn't find it). The breakfast was quite basic too, and I missed more choices like scrambled eggs and stuff. Even in Italy people slowly recognize that in some parts of the world we eat other food beside croissants:-)
Free parking, charmy hotel, in the center..perfect.
