Overview

Opposite the main station in Bremen, the Best Western Hotel Zur Post, Bremen, Germany, is a comfortable base a short walk from the market square and the musical theatre, with cosy rooms and modern bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, and a large spa of saunas, a steam bath, an indoor pool and a gym, with massages and facials available. The market square, the old town and the musical theatre are all within easy reach, with the station and tram stops right outside. The riverside promenade lies a short walk away. Bremen is an old port city on the River Weser, full of merchant gables and seafaring history. The UNESCO-listed market square gathers the ornate Town Hall and the towering Roland statue, the bronze Town Musicians of Bremen, from the Grimm fairy tale, stand ready for a photo nearby, and the crooked lanes of the Schnoor quarter reward a wander. River promenades and green ramparts ring the old town.
