Cons: The gentleman on the front desk both days over the weekend was extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly. I was apprehensive to ask him any questions. It's a shame that there isn't an on-site restaurant or normal room service though (we had to wait 1.5 hours for a pizza delivery on a Saturday night as there aren't many options in town).

Cons: Check took over 25 minutes as there was only 1 staff member at the desk that could do the checkin!! There was no proper restaurant at the resort, with only a light meal offered until 8pm. We dined one night at 6:30pm, had soup, but the staff started vacuuming around our feet!! The bar closed at 8pm also, could only serve 3 drinks per person and the bar manager had forgotten to order items, so cocktails were limited to what ingredients they had. This resort costs a lot to stay in yet the facilities to complete the holiday were lacking at this resort.

Cons: They seemed understaffed when we were there for the holiday weekend. Upon arrival, our room smelled really bad, like someone had cooked broccoli and perhaps been smoking (strange combo). They came by and gave us room freshener in a giant spray bottle that sprayed like windex/cleaner. We also requested a roll away bed. The one in our condo upon arrival was covered in dirt and grime. When I went to move it, my shirt was brown and black with dirt. Dirt was also all over the headboard and the sheets were dirty. They replaced it but did not offer to move it into the room from which the other one was taken. They ran out of towels at the pools and there was a couple at the pool/hot tub one evening blaring their music with an outside speaker, drinking beer from glass bottles and smoking. There was a condo employee checking the pool chemicals who said nothing to them. We were shocked.

Cons: I prepaid for my room about a month in advance. I was told when I arrived that a pipe had burst and my room would not be available. I asked for a refund which they told me they would give me. They only refunded $6.00 to my credit card. Now no one will return my calls. I feel I was scammed out of my money. I will NEVER book with them again.

Pros: While in vacation in Colorado my friend and I, stayed at The Village Hotel. I found what at first seem to be a tick, and turned out to be a wood tick on my bed. The staff acted promptly not only to pay for our night, but also gave us a free bottle of wine. A few mins later Jon came by our new room to see how I was doing, and made me aware that if I had any symptoms he would take care of it. He also gave me and my friend complementary dinner for 2 with drinks. Just blown away by the professionalism and kind people in Colorado. Without a hesitation I will be coming back again, and will highly recommend to all my Visual Effect friends.

The location of the hotel is second to none. It is an easy one minute walk to the base of Peak 9, and a three minute walk to Main Street's shops and restaurants. Additionally, there is a shuttle stop just outside the front door.
Cons: The bathrooms are very small. So small, that you must step into the bathtub or squeeze into the six inches next to the toilet in order to close the bathroom door. Additionally, the entire hotel runs out of hot water during what the hotel's engineer called the "shower hour", which was around 4-5pm when many skiers came back to the hotel after a day of skiing.

Pros: I loved the convenience to the Quick Silver Lift and restaurants. The only complaint was that we had 2 cars. The first night the front desk shuttle us to another parking lot that was covered with snow and our car got stuck. He never mentioned that we could pay to park in the parking garage which we would have happily paid. We did pay to park for the remaining visit after we got our car unstuck. Other than that, everything was great! Would definitely stay again. Liked being in the building closets to the Village. Excellent trip and location!

Cons: Parking as I mentioned above. $50 a day is a lot, but at least there is extra parking on site. Need front desk to let guests know that you can pay for parking onsite. The other location may have worked if it didn't have a foot of snow in it.

Cons: Since every apartment is privately owned, every year you get a different one, unless you call them and request a specific unit. My problem with that is that last year our bed was a Tempur-pedic, perfect, same as I have at home. This year it was a cheap bed that felt weird because it kind of dipped in the middle, making it hard to feel comfortable. So make sure you call them directly to make a reservation, or, if you want to use Booking.com, contact them after you confirm your reservation and ask for an apartment with a good bed. Because you’ll pay the same for both.

Cons: Our room needed some TLC. The patio door didn't lock and we overlooked a roof in disrepair. This part is not your fault but we chose a balcony to have some cool air but couldn't get any. Our AC was way too small for the size of the room so between those 2 it was warm at night. I chose your hotel for the nice large 2 beds and the AC. The room was large but the bath was so tiny you had to close door to get to toilet or shower. But again, all the staff was amazing and always helpful. Even when the safe didn't work (they fixed it), they gave us both a free breakfast. And wonderful hot cookies! The young woman at the market even gave me a glass of milk late one night to go with the cookies. Matthew with valet service was amazing and helpful! Katie at the front desk helped with everything. Maintenance was always prompt. The staff made it all wonderful!

Cons: Check in was delayed until 6 pm and I was called at 10 am on day 2 of 3 and forced to move rooms due to an error on the staff's part.

Cons: You’re only allowed one parking space. We weren’t advised of this and we were all meeting there due to different schedules. There’s no overnight parking in town so we had to pay for parking far away for two of our 3 cars. It was very inconvenient.

Cons: A room with a view of the mountains would have been key. We had no view. Windows didn’t stay open. No AC. Very tight for a family of 4. Better dresser and more clothing storage. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room anyway.

Cons: Two different check in locations for one resort. I had to leave my kids with the car and check in clear across the property for Wyndham. Ridiculous. I got away with it because of the time of year, but there is no place to leave your vehicle to check in. If you're solo or a single parent, this is problematic. The room was small, but nice. The bathroom was small and turned into a sauna whether the door was open or not. Poor venting. I can't imagine sharing this with other than family. I also can't imagine skiing at Breck in the winter in this room. No room to put all the extra clothing and gear (2 queen room). No AC, so you have to open the window and use fans. The box fan in our room was very loud. Also, the blinds were right to left magnetic. Had to open to open the window and use the fan. No privacy. For winter, it's either open or closed, no sheer window dressing to shield you from the units directly across while allowing light. The hot tub closest to our room was poorly maintained. Buttons for jets and lights didn't really work and when we were able to get the jets on, only a fraction worked. Kids said the pool smelled like 'smelly beetle' and didn't go back. We purposely looked for a spot with a pool, so very disappointing. In total, I paid $202 (booking.com 'deal' at 134, then resort fee, 35 cleaning fee (WTF) and taxes) I expect a hell of a lot more for that price. Not even a breakfast. Great location, but I'd spend $ elsewhere.

Cons: The $35 cleaning fee included in booking was a little much, especially when items were found left behind the garbage can. If I have to pay $35 as part of my booking I would like to know that the room is being cleaned properly. The shower head could be updated and our tub drained very slowly leaving you standing in water your entire shower. We tried to check out at 3am this morning but no one was at our desk where we checked in. We attempted to stop in last night before closing but there was a note stating they were in another building and would be right back. I tried to call that office last night before closing to get information on checking out so we could get on the road and the line was busy both times I called. We went to the office in our building this morning to check out and it was closed, so we called the 24 hour number and after a couple of calls trying to find the representative that told us he was in the lobby, we went to the RML front desk and he told us that it was a completely different building we had to go to to check out. We weren’t told that upon check in so we left our room keys at that desk.

Cons: We had a kitchen sink that was stopped up. It took 4 requests and over 24 hours to get it fixed. We had to eat out when we brought food to have. The whole reason to have a condo. The kitchen was not well stocked with dishes and utensils.
