Cons: Luckily the reserved room had an even bigger terrace with amazing views, otherwise the size of the room is really small. But views, terrace and bathroom compensate for all:)!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Delightful helpful and cheerful hotel staff. Amazing location.
Cons: Everything worked well for us. Some steps down to the waterfront may be challenging to the less mobile.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location, in the old town Staff were very helpful
Cons: Air conditioning didn't work Windows opened out into public area with people walking by They booked a taxi to take us a short distance to the ferry port and he charged us 15euros and didn't porovide much help with the bags
7,9 Good
Pros: Good position spacious
Cons: Sooty mold under rim of left hand wash basin.Very difficult to stop/park to access reception, down a long flight of stairs from road, then back up to park car, back down to do book in and back up to follow shuttle car down to room at harbour level. Not to mention that receptionist did not look at booking properly and did not listen attentively when told we were staying down at harbour level, the result being oor cases were lugged down to reception and then back up to the car.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: - beautiful secluded property away from the crowds - got upgraded for our stay to a beautiful duplex suite - nice helpful staff at reception desk
Cons: - breakfast with 24euro per person is totally overpriced. We had much better in corsica for much less then that and with much better service. For that price to make sense, service level would need to be dramatically increased: change of plates actively, serving coffee at table, not starting to clean the room while guests are still eating, making sure buffet is always replenished, etc - bed in room was one of the worst on our trip. Too soft and overused. - no handshower in shower
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel is set in a little oasis. We did not realize the restaurant is in the Michelin guide. The food was outstanding! As my wife was pregnant the Chef created a tasting menu just for her as she couldn't eat the normal one. Breakfast was amazing with fresh juice and a range of amazing local products.
Cons: Our room was near reception and as such it backed onto the neighboring property. Sadly construction work is on going so during the week through the day you just hear construction trucks with their beeping. More sun sades and sun beds around the pool as on a nice day it is hard to find somewhere to sit. Food was on the expensive side and breakfast isn't included, however the food is amazing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing.
Cons: Having to leave.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are nicely decorated, balcony on the garden
Cons: Breakfast is expensive
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. a hugh selection of excellent quality.
Cons: while the dinner was exceptionally tasteful, the menu over the 2 nights we were there did not change much and so our selections were limited, yet still outstanding.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Rooms are ideal for families as there is a living area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the food both in the evening and at breakfast was of an extremely high quality - all sourced from local produce
Cons: n/a
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is its size (small enough to be discreet and beautiful) and it's attention to detail (seriously the best breakfast buffet choice I have ever had : local produce and home baked bread, pastries, jam etc and outstanding coffee). Full marks from us. Almost didn't want to rate it so we could keep it as a secret, but felt that was unfair to the owners. The best we had on the island - by far.
Cons: Nothing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the staff, the services, the garden, the rooms. A place where you can relax and slow down the pace.
Cons: the swimming pool and the hot-tube are in fact closed after 19:00. They close them because they serve dinner near the place where the swimming pool is. So you can' t use the hot tube in the evening when is colder outside.

Cons: Corridors, elevator needs better cleaning or refreshing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location - slept well with balcony doors open onto the marina.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Booked for one night - actually half-hight - when our afternoon ferry to Sardinia was unexpectedly cancelled due to bad weather. Not much choice when all three day's ferries cancelled. Wanted to stay near the port. Great view from balcony to the port and castle on the hill. Quiet, almost no cars in front of the hotel, only moored boats creaking in waves. Good bedding and shower, everything new. Did not use breakfast or pool as we had to leave at 5 am to be the first in line to get to morning ferry with our car. A lot of restaurants in 5 minute walk.
Cons: Room quite small.
9,6 Excellent

7,1 Good
Pros: View, pool, food & wine
Cons: N/A
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The view, pool/pool area and private beach are exceptional. The grounds are stunning. Staff are very sweet and helpful. A totally unique property - you feel transported to another world. The room was comfortable and adequately appointed. We would possibly consider staying here again.
Cons: Restaurant charges Michelin prices for food and service that are not near Michelin quality. Dessert was excellent, however everything else was generally unmemorable. As to the room, the bathrooms could use an update. It would also be a nice addition to add a spa facility (sauna, hammam) to the property.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms, grounds and private beach are really superb!
Cons: The food is something between too simple and mediocre.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Wonderful restaurant. Delicious food. Good wine menu plus advice. Lovely beach. Many areas to sit around property that gave privacy. Glorious views. Terrific in-house gift shop. ‘Green’ inspired choices.
Cons: Internet drops in and out and can be slow. We had a bath with shower head fixed low to the wall, which meant no proper shower. Drive to hotel slow, as the road is quite long and narrow - so careful driving required!
7,9 Good
Pros: Good breakfast, good location, good staff, helpful and knowlegeable concierge. The hotel offered and aperitif and a birthday cake as it was my wife's birthday, this was a nice gesture
Cons: Lack of sports facilities (I am not a yoga or massage lover). Both yoga and massage are at extra cost. Felt the staff a bit too "pushy" to sell: objects in presentation cases all along the corridors and several "reminders" that it was all for sale. The beach was being renovated and impossible to use which meant we were restricted to the pool with its noisy children careering about it. Also, absolutely no water sports were available. No kajaks, no stand-up paddle, no windsurfers.... We were misinformed by the restaurant regarding a dish and that turned out to be a disaster, my wife (we were celebrating her 65th birthday) could not eat the main course because of this. The restaurant apologised for misinforming us but made to offer to change the meal. The final bill had 3 faults which increased the charge by €115! Luckily I saw this and the hotel accepted to correct the mistake. I was already paying nearly €1.400 for 3 days without this "extra" charge! I had expected the hotel to be better organised than this.
7,5 Good
Pros: The terrace and the rooms
Cons: The lobby and breakfast area
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The kindness and the efficiency of the staff, the location, the spa, the beaches, the pool, the romantic hidden places in the garden: this is an unique place ! Ecological efforts of the hotel. We really enjoy the place !
Cons: Very small things... Poor sound isolation. No sas between the corridors and the rooms, you hear conversations from people passing by late at night and in the morning. Better to choose a room on the first floor to avoid noises coming from upstair. We missed a electric kettle / coffee machine in the room as you find in most of the hotels of this category. Plastic Straw for the beverage not coherent with the ecological concerns of the hotel.

Pros: Everything! Location, comfort.
Cons: I liked everything!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind and the facilities just amazing. Breakfast complete, nice variety of things. Will definitely recommend it! If I ever come back will stay here again.
Cons: Nothing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Poisson Rouge is perfectly located to explore the Bonifacio area whilst being isolated enough to enjoy the tranquil setting. We loved the nearby beaches - particularly the more quiet sant manza. We opted for half board and loved the home cooked delicious dinners. Valentina’s father is a fisherman and we enjoyed some excellent fish and seafood whilst we were there. The prawns especially were superb!
Cons: There isn’t much not to like. My only comment would be that there could have been more sunbeds around the pool.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and peaceful, great rooms and the evening meal was well prepared
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Charming family run hotel! Gorgeous territory with own parking! Comfortable pool area and great family restaurant with fabulous traditional meals (in the morning you can book a table and choose dishes for dinner). Very beautiful garden, lovely room with it’s own cosy terrace, where you can sit in the evening with glass of delicious local wine after the long hot day.....Deep relaxation.... Wonderful service, staff is really welcoming, helpful and attentive. Highly recommended.
Cons: Limited check-in time from 17 to 19 is not very convenient - it is sometimes difficult to accurately calculate the time if you travel around the island by car
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, lovely breakfast and dinner. The owner, Valentina, is also the chef and does a fantastic job. Pool looks great but we did not use it as weather was not warm enough.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: My second stay here. Rooms are a good size. This time our needs were a room with 3 beds and off street parking for motorcycles, which is available under the building. Short walk to the port and its restaurants, or uphill to the old centre and its views to Sardinia. Or take the little train. Helpful reception staff. Hotel has an elevator.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: They gave me a family room Very clean apartment The hotel is Simple but very comfortable It's near the marina
7,1 Good
Pros: The other older male on reception was very courteous and helpful Good location. Liked the separate toilet!
Cons: Receptionist on arrival was not impressed that we could not speak French. The breakfast attendant soundly reprimanded us when we had not reserved for breakfast even though there were about 15 empty tables and the said receptionist did not ask us about breakfast. I noticed on departure they had an illuminated sign about reserving for breakfast but this was not on when we arrived
6,7 Good
Pros: Great location!!
Cons: Room was on the small side! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Large street light outside window which shone into the room ALL night as the curtains were very THIN!!! Didn’t have breakfast as at €14 was expensive!!! Wouldn’t stay again.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel has free parking spots. There's a supermarket close by. The hotel is located a few minutes walk outside the port so it's in a relatively quiet spot. The room has a nice terrasse.
Cons: The hotel itself was pretty old and needs renovating. The shower hose was usable but broken. No tissue box or any amenities except shampoo. No towel to use as a bathroom carpet. There were some construction work in the hotel which started from 8:30am. The room was close to the breakfast area and the smell in the corridor to the room was not great.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location and everything was perfect other than check-in.
Cons: We emailed hotel and asked for them to arrange for a taxi to meet us at the ferry terminal. They informed us that there are taxi at the ferry terminal. We also informed them our estimated arrival time, that is 12.15pm. We have two large/heavy bags n two hand carry. Upon arrival, there were no taxi at the ferry terminal. We had to walk and asked for direction to the hotel. When we reached the hotel, the reception counter closed between 12pm to 3pm. We waited for about 20 minutes and one hotel guest came out and we went into the hotel. We left a note about our luggage and went for a walk until 3pm to check in.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Super clean and calm. Close to city center
Cons: It is not an hotel. No staff, no services more than breakfast. WiFi is terrible!! We had issues with the water every single day of our 1 week stay. No water for shower all the time, sometimes had to wait 1-2h for the water to go back. They said it is an issue in the whole village which is not true. There’s an horrible hill you have to face every time you want to go back from the center of Bonifacio.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and new, nice rooms. Friendly hosts.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was comfortable and clean. Handy location and easy parking if you have a car.
Cons: Nothing.
7,9 Good
Pros: Very easy and welcoming early check-in. Contrary to description more of a hotel than an apartment, but that was more than fine with us.
Cons: Reception only temporarily staffed
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Parking and quiet with good bed and nice views
Cons: No wifi in room only in public area
4,6 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Wifi was not working, there was not water sometimes.. taking a shower we needed to wait like 10 min for the water to come back.. horrible. Limited parking spots (like only 5) Sometimes weird smell
4,6 Okay
Pros: The room smelled really bad! Had to sleep with all windows and the front door open. Even with everything open it was still a strong smell and I woke feeling bad and with a stuffy nose and a few mosquito bites. It smelled like mold and heavy chemicals. Had they had another room available I would have requested it. If I wasn’t exhausted from 48 hours of traveling I would have looked for another place to stay. The only parking they had was so small that I scraped my bumper trying to fit in. The Hotel is not too far from town but it is up a hill so bringing groceries back was work. There was supposed to be a kitchenette, all there was, was a small fridge. The bed and sheets were comfortable. They charged me €130. Nothing about this room was worth this much. It was more what you might expect from a €40 room.
Cons: See above
7,9 Good
Pros: Free parking. Walking distance to the port.
Cons: Broken refrigerator. Poor TV reception.
7,5 Good
Cons: Despite acknowledging the request by email that we would arrive between 15.00 and 16.00 We were told that reception did not open until 16:00 It is also up a very steep hill which should be made clear.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very central in old town. Friendly staff, clean bright room.
Cons: Parking is available but but of a trek, so be warned, contact host beforehand so you know where to go after dropping of bags
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel is right in the middle of the old city of Bonifacio. The room, bed and bathroom were ok.
Cons: Coming from Sardinia I wasn’t used to the fairly high prices for a (single) room.
7,1 Good
Pros: Convenient location in the old city of Bonifacio. I would say it is worth staying on the peninsula itself, in the old part on top of the cliffs. Parking (note it's a few minutes' walk away from the restaurant, but at least it's available!). Friendly staff.
Cons: Dated decor, and a bit sparse. I was a bit confused first about finding it, because it looks primarily like a restaurant. In fact, the hotel reception is accessed from the inside of the restaurant.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the middle of city, nice and clean room
Cons: A little bit expensive but it is high season so I can understand
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location!
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Disliked the property.
Cons: Shabby, dirty, run-down and very noisy! Had a panoramic room which was not more than a bit of a wall and a very small view of the citadel and boats below. Disappointing!
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel was located in the centre of old town Bonifacio and walking distance to everything. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet.
Cons: The hotel lacked atmosphere and staff were busy renovating. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room - a small thing but it makes a big difference.
