Only good thing is location.
So many bad things about this hotel. It smells damp and dirty as soon as you walk in. Booked two rooms-in the first the mattress was so thin and the metal bed frame was so rickety it was not acceptable for anyone to sleep on and also got locked inside the room every time we shut the door. We had to push the keys under the door for someone to let us in from the outside. Serious safety issue! In the second room the divan bed was broken and seemed to be stuffed with blankets. It was facing the busy road with noise keeping us up all night! Nothing could be done as the hotel was fully booked. I would not recommend anyone to stay there. The smell alone is enough! I have stayed in many Blackpool hotels and I’m no stranger to slumming it a bit but this is beyond acceptable. The worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. Don’t bother! I wasn’t going to leave a review but was advised by booking.com that I should!
Close to town centre comfortable bed and good plenty of room
Bin not emptied no remote for telly towels not big enough
Arrived 9.45pm after a long drive for my daughter's dance competition the next day to a small, poky room with no heating on 3rd floor no lifts. Freezing cold, told twice the heating would be boosted. Receptionist evcentually came 11.20pm , lay down next to radiator, fiddled with it, listened to it nothing happened. given room next door, also freezing radiator wasn't working. promised it would be working next day. Other guests also freezing. My friend was eventually given extra duvet, I waited no- one came so as still had old room key took duvet from there. Next morning radiator did come on but only bottom half was working. Also shower was cold. Complained. Eventually owner came, she said people last week had been complaining it was too hot so boiler had been timed to go off. Also that the plumbers who installed the showers(quite some time ago judging from the state of them)had mixed the hot and cold up. I explained I had tried every way and also suggested that the radiator might need bleeding. Presumably the receptionist who 'checked' radiator knew this. was told plumber would come. another receptionist adjusted the shower and said leave it at that setting it would be fine. 'plumber' came to fix radiator, turned up with 2 radiator keys that didn't fit, said he would buy a new set and came back with some pliers, still not able to fix then informed me he was the chef not a plumber! Nothing was resolved, the heating was turned off again and the shower remained cold. The receptionists kept saying they couldn't do anything and told me the owner would ring me, 5 days later nothing. I could go on with the nonsense they kept telling me. The first room was very basic not even a bedside lamp and the tv near the ceiling to the left of the bed so not comfortable viewing and booking. com charged £132 for 2 nights - room only. I wasn't expecting the Ritz.
just a normal buffet type breakfast.hot/cold baked fried eggs. been before many times cheap and cheerful. a good location for me .near to tower and winter gardens
first night the central heating boiler failed very cold room not helped by cold air coming from outside due to window not closing properly.lot of rubbish under bed including empty beer cans. no toiletries supplied
The place should not even be on ur site to recommend its smell is disgusting as soon as you walk in are room smelt horrible too. I thinks its very cold and damp too
