Pros: Customer service was A+++. They were always helpful, cheerful, courteous & informative... Rooms were lovely, and location perfect - an easy walk to train station and market, as well as being next to the main street for shopping & boutiques. This was my third stay here, and I intend it to be my destination hotel when I visit again...

Pros: Clearly one of the better hotels of Best Western. It was modern, luxe, clean, large good beds and great bath room. Close to the route Macon-Lyon, nice area, sufficient parking. I would definitely return here.

Pros: Very helpful waitresses, central location, ample parking (at a 100 metres free), good restaurants around, Villefranche is a lively old town with beautiful buildings + terrific church (gargoyles&stained glass!). It is a 200 year old inn (today the ever popular Irish pub) with quirky narrow staircases and rather small, low ceilinged rooms BUT a very quiet well functioning airco, and that for such price! Don’t be put off by the pub: they do turn down the music later in the evening ..... and they sure serve a nice pint (some 12 on tap). Breakfast at 6,90 is basic, but with excellent coffee from an expresso machine and unlimited. Beware: the first two parking rows are paid & one hour only during the day - the sign Parking Gratuit is rather misleading.

Cons: A warning about the parking arrangements would help the weary, tired traveller, although strictly speaking that’s not there responsibility.

Pros: The place was very convenient - the city center, all the shops and restaurants and pubs are nearby. Very cozy hotel, nice room service, the room was very clean and cleanED during my stay every day, everybody is very friendly.

Cons: The bathroom was cozy but no border in the shower, so the water was all over the place even despite the shower cloth. On the fourth day it was a suspicion that something was wrong with the pipes itself, but I haven't checked. The window opens to the stairs, so the only way to refreshen the room is to open it and share your privacy with everybody :) not bad, but not very good))

Cons: Seemed odd being at an Irish bar in central France! The photo they had of the room outside the bar wasn’t inspiring - much better in reality! Not for someone who cant go up stairs

Pros: we came only for one night and even because of this they give us a room before time (we came In early morning)

Cons: They did not return my deposit yet. They told me that it was just needed to make the reservation. Right now I paid more than twice because the deposit was 200 euro. When we checked out they charged the actual cost of 156 euro on top of it. Ofcourse everything will be fine at last. But I just don't like it that they cannot do it immediately at the check out.

Cons: The bar area isn’t particularly friendly if you just want a drink as it’s more for people using the quite swish restaurant. The key didn’t work to start with and staff were helpful but couldnt solve the problem. Parking and breakfast cost extra making it an expensive night.

Pros: It was basically cheap and available at the time :) Big parking for the car. Proximity to a VERY good boulangerie. In short you get what you pay for a 2 star hotel and that's ok.

Cons: You have to LEAVE THE HOTEL BETWEEN 11 and 17 on holiday and weekend. This is a simple no-go. That is the first time ever I see such a deal and on a location that self describes as a "hotel". I find this very strange. It happened that this didn't impact us as we could still use the facilities on Saturday without impact. But seriously, you cannot ask your customer to read for small print sales conditions to have such an important information !

Pros: Excellent location very close to the autoroute. For the price you cannot fault it a good budget hotel with everything you need.

Cons: Room smelled dreadfully of stale smoke, made you feel rather sick and clothes smelled on leaving, on walking my dog and on leaving we noticed other guests at the windows smoking.

Cons: Smell of sigarettes in the room, asked for a different room as I booked a non smoking room unfortunately he said it was a non smoking room. Carpets with stains, bedcovers with stains, bathroom smelled like mold. I would prefer sleeping in a tent or the car next time than stay here again

Pros: Breakfast was OK but there appeared not enough tableware and they were a bit slow in replenishing food and spreads. Same goes for the evening meal.

Cons: Shower was moldy Some of the cleaning staff did their job not well (toilette was only sometimes cleaned, sometimes no toilet paper) Some people smoked (in a non smoking hotel) in the room below us and we told the receptionist. We got a sorry. This was annoying. Got no response if something was done about it at least.

Cons: Garage very tight for parking . Be careful if you arrive on a Sunday daytime as everywhere closed in the town but lovely in the evening and had a great meal up the Main Street
