Pros: The space of the apartment was superb with the emphasis on relaxation. Location was very convenient. Hostess Adele was very friendly, helpful and efficient. All the ingredients for a great breakfast including fresh croissants. Tips on sights to see and the best spots for a meal.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of.

Pros: Great location! Comfortable room and clean! Owner Lello was very friendly and helpful. So great in fact we decided to stay two more nights! Lello goes out of his way to be helpful and great breakfast lots of options and complimentary water bottles!

Cons: I can t think of anything I didnt like about this property!

Pros: This is a warm and comfortable hotel with clean and beautiful environment. The restaurant has a view of Benevito's ancient world heritage. The landlady is a warm, generous and thoughtful person. It is strongly recommended.

Pros: We live in Italy, and often stay in B&Bs or hotels around the country. This B&B is one of the best we've stayed in, and is highly recommended. Adele gave us a very warm welcome, and guidance on what to see in the city. The breakfast was excellent - even catering for a gluten-intolerant member of our group. There was even a parking space waiting for us, which was handy for a late-evening arrival. Location is close to centre of Benevento, yet quiet. Room was immaculate and comfortably held four people. Price was very reasonable for what was on offer.

Cons: The breakfast terrace is not fully winterized - so was a bit draughty in the face of a wind storm. Should be fine in normal weather, however, and excellent in spring or summer.

Pros: The location was great, right around the corner from the arch. The room we were in was very spacious, clean and stocked with goodies to eat. The host was so friendly and helpful, she made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Adele is a fantastic host she greeted us with a very comprehensive briefing on the B&B and on her town about which she justifiably very proud. Attention to detail is the hallmark of this place with everything done to a professional standard. My wife and I ran our own resort for many years so we know what to look for. Well done Adele we loved our stay and will be back.

Pros: Charming hotel in the heart of Benevento, walking distance to all of the archaeological ruins in this lovely Italian town. The owner was kind enough to find a driver to take us to nearby Pago Veino where my granddaughter's great grandparents were born. LOVED this hotel, hoping to return next time I'm in Italy.

Pros: Big double room with good beds, good shower. Room interior a bit dated. Friendly and effective service. Walking distance to the city centre. Ample parking space on hotel grounds. Very good breakfast with a broad range of items and good coffee .

Pros: Spacious room, convenient lift, pleasant greeting.

Cons: View of high rise flats from the window of a “superior” room, steep steps from car park. Seemed as though the construction was unfinished.

Pros: Good size room and bathroom. Very helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Pros: Very clean. No question about it. Staff very courteous and polite. Nice view from my room of the river. Breakfast was good.

Cons: Bed was a bit stiff for my liking.

Pros: Excellent location for visiting the old town; walking distance (10 to 20 min) to all main tourist attractions (Arco di Traiano, Teatro romano, etc.). Safe parking. Very good breakfast. Surprise: actually Hotel has been built over the remnants of Roman Bath (Terme Romane).

Pros: The owner is extremely kind and caring. The property is located in the centre of old town and easily access to important historical sites and restaurants.

Cons: There is a club next door, so Saturday and Friday nights are very loud till 2:00 am.

Pros: The owner was more than helpful and friendly. He took us and our bikes to the station in the morning. Excellent location and facilities.

Pros: Stayed in B&B Le Streghe for two nights with my mother and had a great time. Rooms are very comfortable and it is very peaceful there (with the exception of Saturday night music from nearby bars -- which Roberto warned us about prior to our visit). Roberto is an excellent host -- he saved a parking spot for us and shuttled our baggage to and from the B&B, promptly answered all text messages (including ones sent in the middle of the night), suffered through my bad Italian, and gave us really great recommendations on activities/restaurants to visit. Roberto is such a sweetheart and his kindness really enhanced our trip -- I would absolutely stay here again if I come back to Benevento.

Pros: The apartments were absolutely perfect, clean and homely. Roberto and Carmen were the best hosts that we have had in our 30 years if traveling. Would highly recommend staying here.

Pros: Beautiful room in an old property a short distance from the Roman Arch, gateway into the old town. There is a large communal area with access to tea and coffee making facilities and a few snacks. Breakfast was adequate, left out for us, no staff. Cereal with milk, prepacked croissants, toast and conserves. Secure parking was a bonus as we were traveling with a car.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

Pros: Car parking was excellent, with private parking. The building and the rooms were quite spacious and beautiful. The premises are close to the Traian Arch and Garibaldi Corso. The owner/manager was friendly. The a/c worked fine, our room had a nice little balcony.

Cons: There was no refrigerator, no kettle nor tea/coffee making facilities in the room or outside. I am not sure why it is referred to as a "B&B" as there did not seem to be any mention of or possibility of Breakfast, even though there was a picture of Breakfast on a brochure.

Pros: Very nice B&B. We stayed one night in Benevento with our family at De Nuce Maga and we were very pleased! The guest house is VERY clean, comfortable, quiet and located 2 minutes away from Trahan Arch and the main street (Garbaldi). Alessandro, our host, was very nice. I strongly recommend it!

Cons: The AC is the room upstairs was working, but not enough... as it was very warm weather while we were there, (approx. 35C), it was then very warm in this room.

Pros: Friendly staff, very clean and beautifully decorated with antique furniture and furnishings.

Cons: The shower cabin was a bit small but definately not a deal breaker.

Pros: Alessandro, the host, was charming! He lives downstairs very quietly with two *beautiful* dogs we never heard a peep from. The bed was very comfortable, the room and shower clean and tidy. Very quiet air conditioner made sleep lovely. We *will* stay there again if possible. Breakfast, even just pastry and coffee would have sent it over the top.

Cons: Room 606 1) it's too humid air in the room. Ventilation doesn't work properly. 2) the window is to the inner yard with a bar. And it was party inside. so if you want to sleep you will slip in the center of a loud stadium. Literally. 2) very loud conditioner. 3) there is a mold on the bathroom's walls. Dirty. And if you are allergic you shouldn't stay in this place. 4) shower is very old and must be renovated. 5) our booking wasn't in the booking list so it took time to find it on the booking.com 6) the phone in the room is broken Management had changed room 606 to 715. It was ok but bathroom staff need to be renovated too. See pics attached. So. It is not 4 stars hotel. Maximum 3. Maximum. And have to be renovated. I advise to choose another place to stay.

Cons: I was charged for the mineral water! The room was very small and there was no table for me to use my laptop.

Pros: Generally fabulous! Great decor, all rather stylish. Breakfast was first class. Near to the old town, a very short walk. You MUST go up to the roof top terrace, brilliant view in all directions, great place day or night to enjoy a drink or snack. .

Cons: There only have a limited number of twin rooms and one of the rooms, we booked as a twin, was only available as a double.

Pros: Style, quality, cleanliness and staff

Pros: Very helpful eg ordering taxis for our large family group Big rooms. Cleaned daily. Large terrace where we could all eat breakfast together. Good breakfast provided. Great location, lots of restaurants close by. Can walk to a supermarket.

Cons: Extra charge for A/C - but great to have it, as very hot in the summer.

Pros: It was a very clean bedroom with adequate light for reading.

Cons: We had a terrible time finding it. It is located in a building in a very small piazza down a narrow (think medieval) street off a pedestrian only area inaccessable by auto. On the verge of just giving up and finding another hotel, we asked someone who knew the owner and took us there.

Pros: Staff were all helpful, friendly and pleasant. Hotel was very nice. Close to station, with a twenty minute walk to the historic part of town, so worked really well for us - we only had a short walk with our suitcases and then a pleasant stroll to what we wanted to see. People in Benevento were really nice, albeit a little reserved. We went to a restaurant on a public holiday and they opened just for us. They were fantastic, as was the food.

Cons: Breakfast choices were a bit sparse until your groups arrived. Hotel foyer and public areas a bit old looking although in good condition.

Cons: The whole hotel was deserted with very few people staying. The bar and reception were in dark and no welcome,felt as if we were causing and issue for them staying. Limited drinks behind bar and very unfriendly staff. We had a group of 6 and would not go back.
