The room is so small The toilet is dirty The nothing is ok
Mhamad is a very nice person. I mainly like to be there when he is present for he is a welcoming person and he makes sure the host is satisfied. Room is clean, staff are friendly.
Hotel is very bad, 1- every day same breakfast. 2-Room service is very bad and too much delay i you request for any thing. 3- furnitures is too old and bad smells inside the rooms and Cabinets. I changed my room 3 times
Good breakfast good internet!
I stayed at Duroy for five nights. The only good thing about this hotel was the value for money. It was a bit cheaper than all other places in Beirut at the time when I visited the city.
It's a very noisy hotel, and even sleeping with the ear plugs didn't help me. The cleaning staff starts working quite early, and they are very loud as the room where they store all the cleaning equipment is on the fifth floor (where I was staying). When I asked the staff at the reception to give me a different room, the response was that "all rooms are the same" (which is clearly not true - the staff just couldn't be bothered). I was charged for five nights of parking even though I only had a car for one night - I had to fight to make the fee void. The breakfasts are very poor. If you do decide to stay at this hotel, make sure that: 1) You bring your own toiletries as they only provide a small soap that doesn't lather well 2) Be very careful when eating at the restaurant of hotel as they overcharged me once by 60% for a meal, and I couldn't prove it as I didn't take a receipt with me. Absolutely appalling and unacceptable. When I mentioned this incident to the staff at the reception, they - again - couldn't care less. Very sad.
