Cons: well, I except a 5 star surcharge for certain things but when I pay 14 Euro for 3 mini croissants plus 5 Euro room charge then it is just too much, even more so when I have to call reception because there was no milk coming with the coffee, tried to schedule a massage in the spa, nobody was there , although I could have fill out a note, that was not what I expected. Beds, middle age, 2 mattress instead of one king size that in a junior suite, also not what I expected... the softness ( way too soft for me) of the mattress I accept as subjective feeling the great staff makes it up but overall a rather disappointing stay

Pros: Amazing back in time trip, absolutely fantastic to stay few days în such atmosphere.
Cons: So, the building was erected in the 18th century, in order to preserve the original appearance the owner wasn't able to modernize some aspects like the interior walls and sound insulation, hence, when people walking on the upstair’s floor or go up the stairs, an unpleasant noise would can disturb you. Anyway, this kind of disruption was short and rare, most of the time you will enjoy incredible silence.

(Too) late in the restaurant for breakfast, but the personel still asked us whether we still wanted anything b4 they cleared it. They make their guests feel important. So simply TOP. Cons: I did an online advance check in and asked for a high floor. My confirmation email said I was confirmed on the 6th floor. When I arrived and checked in they gave me room 202 on the second floor. I don't know why my confirmed request was not honored.

Pros: The location is fantastic. One of the most comfortable king size beds and soft linen I have experienced in any hotel. The room is very well appointed and the separate space for the additional bed with it's own TV area was very convenient for the third adult. This was a loft style room on the top floor and the big dormer style roof windows added to a very spacious and stylish feel. Another great stay in an NH Hotel and I will definitely seek out more NH accommodation in the future.

Pros: Really wonderful location, with a personal feel, family-run and you can tell. We were return visitors, and would love to have stayed longer. This time around it really helped that they have a 24h concierge. Only slight dampener - any hotel in 2019 should long be done with countless little plastic containers (mustard, ketchup, etc.) at breakfast. Check-out should be 12 o'clock. - I forgot to mention the truly amazing tree-covered courtyard restaurant.

Pros: Great location, actually in the palace. Also the atmosphere of the place resembled palace interiors. Luxuriously. We were by bicycle. I think it is great place to stop between Dresden and Pirna / Bad Schandau. Very good restaurant on the ground floor.
Cons: Breakfast was average. First of all, coffee was not good. If you appreciate good, freshly roasted coffee, you may be disappointed. In addition, it was bad IMHO that the coffee was prepared by the staff. I prefer to make it by myself.

Pros: Second time I stay at the hotel. Great location, large rooms, friendly and attentive staff, plus the excellent rooftop Twist Bar.
Cons: Crowd and confusion at breakfast, abusive drink prices at Twist Bar. It's not the hotel's fault, but the Germans are showing their claws to foreigners in various places. They avoid using the same lifts as foreigners, look down on them and seem to be bothered by the presence of foreigners in the country. Tourists bring jobs and do not compete for them. I repeat, nothing related to the hotel.

Pros: Center of main attractions and plenty of restaurants. The hotel is clean and modern. Staff are friendly and helpful. Close distance to the airport (40 euro by taxi) and main train station (25 euro by taxi. Close to the tram station (4 minutes walk). Excellent breakfast. Minibar was free of charge (no alcohol inside).
Cons: I paid 700 euros for 3 nights but had only a shower (no bath tub). The view from the hotel is not very good either inside the court or face to the street (but this is due to the hotel location).

Cons: Unfortunately the hotel kept quiet about there best rooms being these days turned to the construction side, with related noise burden (one would expect discount or at least fair information and apology). The best suit they have did lack basic normal staff - there was only one tiny shower and shampoo gel for two persons and thinks like no hangers for towels...

Pros: The hostel is great. Clean, breakfast is perfect, staff is very friendly. You can borrow bikes too, although they may be a bit adventurous for longer rides :)
Cons: Nothing major. Number of bathrooms is a bit low when there are lots of people, but it wasn't too much of an issue. The windows should be opened a bit more to get some breathable air into the dormitory rooms.

Pros: Staff really were really friendly and helpful. Located in a very trendy part of New town. Old town and Train Station 20min walk away. Atmosphere was a relaxed feeling but Sunday free dinner made it lively.
Cons: 5 bed dorm upper loft ceiling is not very high, you have to crawl to get to the bed.

Pros: The hotel is a bit off center, but this is not really na issue, becasue there is a direct connection to the centre via local transport. I liked that the hotel is located in a quiet area, basically surrounded by trees with lots of fresh air. In adition the airport is close, but it absolutely did not feel loud, I guess there are not many planes going form and to Dresden. The size of the room was ok, The size of bathroom, and shower was very good as well.
Cons: The bed could have been a bit bigger. For two persons is the bed a bit small, anyway we somehow managed it, but I am used to larger beds. And there ist the bug problem. This is absolutely not something the hotel can do much about. Since it is located close to nature, the bugs keep crawling in as soon as you open the window. I did not really mind them, you just have to keep your window closed and they stay out.

Pros: It is not so far from the center, and there seems to be a direct tram (not sure - as I've been there with a car). They have big free parking so it quite convenient. Receptionists are super friendly and overall personnel are nice. Lots of trees around, silent and fresh air. Really good place.

Pros: This is really a great apartment right at the town centre and near many of the tourist attractions such as the Frauenkirche and Semper Opera. Very customer oriented service - we got upgraded to a bigger room at no charge! Room was clean, modern and well furnished. Really good value!
Cons: Parking was a little confusing at first, as we were allotted an underground parking lot at an adjacent building. But the plus is that we could access the room directly from the underground carpark via an elevator. Once we got used to it, it wasnt a problem at all.

Pros: The location was prime to what we wanted to visit. The staff was great and helpful.
Cons: Furniture was old and not sturdy. The bath/shower hose was leaking and you can't take a shower without getting water all over the bathroom. The underground parking was tight. No microwave.

Cons: The carpets throughout were extremely dirty and stained. The upstairs bathroom had black mold in the shower and the bottom of the door was rotting from water damage. The kitchen needed new cabinets and a good cleaning. The bed pillows and duvets were thin and very worn.

Pros: The hotel has a good location, very close to the Zwinger and/or Semperoper and also within walking distance of the Frauenkirche and the Neumarkt. As per their standards, room is pretty small and basic (little or no furniture at all; among other things, a safe and a mini-fridge would be appreciated). Ours, the 510, was a little bit noisy as we could hear the trams running down the street. The bathroom is small too, but the shower is very good. Unfortunately, the hairdryer was not working (but the staff promptly tried to give us a solution). On the other hand, the lobby/lounges are spacious and nicely decorated. WiFi works properly all around the property. Can't say anything about the breakfast as we were on a only-bed treatment. Attentive and helpful staff. Special mention for Massimo, at the bar.
Cons: True to be told, if you are fully aware of what you are reserving when staying at a Motel One (an affordable design hotel, with small basic rooms and essential services), you can only give a high rating. They never disappoint you.
