Pros: Great breakfast.Incredible view. Very clean room. Staff is a lovely and friendly family. I was a single traveller with no car, so it takes around 40 min to walk up (6-7min by car) from train station to the facility. The staff was very helpful as they supported me by giving me a bike and a ride to the train station at my last day. If you are looking for different experience than a regular hotel, this is the place.

Pros: Fantastic stay in the 3-person apartment. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Leftovers provided full lunch every day. VIEW VIEW VIEW! The gorgeous views from every window in our apartment and deck were incredible. Large fridge, oven, dishwasher, plentiful hot water, and friendly staff made this stay perfect! So many extra details thoughtfully included. The family who runs this inn goes above and beyond. Wish we'd stayed longer. Highly recommend this lovely property.

Pros: This small family owned hotel was simply wonderful-from the location, breathtaking views, friendly welcome to the spotless modern accommodations to the delicious breakfast. We were so happy to have booked this spot just a short 10 minute walk into Bad Reichenhall. The stroll to town was relaxing and scenic. I can’t stress enough how fabulous this place was.

Cons: The location was further from town than we first thought, and the walk back at night was up hill, through a very dark lane- I was a little scared :-) I would definitely stay here again though- just drive in to town for dinner!

Cons: The quality of towels was unsuitable for a "Luxury hotel" And freeuency of their replacement. Viriety of food wss very limited. Also the quality did not match the "Luxary Hotel" Temperature of the showers were not stable. In most spa's if you have made reservayion for treatments, upon your arrival you would be provided with the schedule of your appointments. Not here. In the treatment room the smell of sewage was unbearable so much I had to ask the lady to leave thr door open.

From Munich/Salzburg follow signs for Lofer Pass not Bad Reichenhall centre and turn left after the Aral petrol station (after the back of the Rupertus Therme).

A very close walk to the Kur park, Saline tower and lots of great restaurants. The free hotel breakfast was fresh, plentiful with a wide variety of tasty foods to select. The top floor windowed restaurant gave a fabulous view of the Alpine location. The Swiss coffee machine made delicious wide variety of coffee drinks which we especially enjoyed. We chose Bad Reichenhall because it is 1/2 way between Salzburg and Königssee (King's sea) but it is a great place in itself.

Cons: Our friend's room smells bad. Bathroom heater doesn't work. Always keep all your cash receipts if you buy something inside. We've paid twice for the coffee when leaving the hotel.

Pros: Traditional, old fashioned (in the best sense) hotel, very conveniently located for central Bad Reichenhall. We had a large, comfortable room with two windows and a balcony. Impeccably clean and well presented. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff v accommodating when we asked for extra pillows and had a problem with the safe.

Cons: No air conditioner nor fan available. It was really hot. It was almost 85 or higher degrees in summer. The pillows are not very comfortable nor is the mattress. I only stay here because it’s in front of a seminar. Forget comfort.

Pros: The Frau who greeted me was very cordial and kind. She was genuinely concerned about me. I use a cane to assist with my walking. She carried my bag up to my room for me. Gave me directions for the following day. Very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding! One of the largest selections I saw throughout my whole trip. I would HIGHLY recommend!!

Cons: However; my check-in experience was really uncomfortable. I showed up at 2 pm in the afternoon and the door was locked. Thankfully, while I was standing there the innkeepers were driving down the driveway. When they stopped to help me, they were really annoyed that I was there and that I didn't call the phone number, which is on a sign on the door in German. Normally, this wouldn't be so bad if they weren't right there and so irritated that they had to stop and let me in. I asked (in German) if they spoke English and they simply ignored the question and stated that "passport is an English word." Overall, I feel that you don't speak German you will be confused (and possibly left outside ) while checking in. I felt treated more like a suspicious bother rather than a guest.
