Overview

With 100-ish rooms that are all a little different, voco The Darwin - Atlanta Midtown invites guests to empty their rucksacks and refill them with the heart and soul of Atlanta. Travel makes taking chances easier: try unfamiliar food, buy that wild piece of art, or turn the dial on your personality up a couple notches—no regrets. Our hotel embraces an “I’m not home right now; please leave my 9-to-5 self a message” mentality. We were born for it. In Atlanta, a city full of type-A corporate hotels, we’re the odd duck dressed a little too loudly for the occasion. The lobby feels more like a local gallery than a business center, and the courtyard cocktail bar is essentially East Side Atlanta’s three-season living room. Our hotel is nestled in the epicenter of change—its creative, bold, globally cultured, ever-evolving East Side Old 4th Ward neighborhood. Choose your own adventure. With Ponce City Market two blocks away, punky Little Five Points nearby, catch a show at The Eastern, peek under the sea at the Georgia Aquarium, or let the kids play at Piedmont Park—all within three miles of our hotel. If you’d rather stay in, there’s plenty to do here too. Shoot for your next PR on our custom-designed Rogue Fitness equipment, cozy up around a crackling fire in the courtyard, or gather your team for a brainstorming session in The Canvas Room. When you’re ready to relax, your room is waiting.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently highlight the hotel's friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and convenient location as major positives. Many appreciated the modern decor and inviting atmosphere. However, several reviews mention issues with noise levels, particularly thin walls and external sounds, as well as some complaints about small room sizes. While amenities like parking and breakfast received mixed feedback, the overall experience is positive, especially for short stays and those valuing service and cleanliness.
