Pros: The location for our needs was very good. The room was small but very cosy. The bathroom wasn’t super clean, could see dust on the floor (considerinf we paid almost 1300€ for 3 nights that appeared a bit meh). The hotel itself big and cosy as well.

Cons: The breakfast area on the second floor dull and not cosy. Thought to eat there for the whole 3 days but ended up eating there just once. The parking was very very tight. If you have a big car it is a bit of a problem.

Cons: Unfortunately, the rooms were pretty old, there was a particular unpleasant smell, caused by old furniture and smoke (when we arrived the fire alarm was covered, as someone had previously smoked in there, and it wasn’t removed during the cleaning). It would be also quite fair to say that the breakfast is not very rich and can be improved.

Cons: Check-in could have been better as the frontdesk was swamped with customers checking in when we arrived where we waited for approximate of 30 minutes standing. There is no proper queuing system too, so beware of people that are unaware cutting in right up your nose. Perhaps a sign to indicate which staff can speak any specific language better would have facilitated the check-in process of non-spanish or french speaking customers.

Cons: Rooms were very small. There was no space to keep the luggage. I have to keep the strolly bag on bed. The cupboard door can open only half way because of extremely small size of the room. Also they don't provide iron/iron board. Check-in process was very slow even in case of pre-booking. Waiter at the restaurant were very rude and arrogant. One day in dinner we found a piece of broken glass in meat balls. When we told the waiters they just ignored us without any apology.

Cons: There was no mineral water for free. Nowadays every hotel provides guests with a couple of free mineral water bottles every day, or at least the first day. There were no extra pillows, blankets, no laundry bag, the toilet paper was really cheap The receptionist, the first day never smiled!

Cons: I asked for a Double bed, got 2 single beds attached to each other. Called the reception to ask for the service of making them one with the top cover and double sheets and they told me they didn’t have the service available. The first night I fell down between both beds because both single beds had legs with Wheels (that didn’t hav brakes) so they splitted apart very easily with some pressure on the middle. Having told them in the morning they said they would look for another room, but never got back to me not even to say that they didn’t find another room. If they had at least some rope and tied up both beds together the biggest problem would be resolved. Sending a maintenance guy, try to find a solution. Not really a 5 star service.

Cons: Air conditioning didn't work and room was hot and stuffy. Bed was uncomfortable. Inadequate pillows. Only one English channel on TV. Dinner at the Gran Buffet was chaotic....enormous and very noisy room at the Novatell evidently very popular at late dinner (8PM) with large families. Many screaming babies. Food was only OK for 25 euros. In AM there was no coffee available in room or lobby....had to wait until 8AM and then choose either 8 or 16 euro breakfast. Parking was offered again across the way at Novatell for 22 euros when city lot right next to hotel was 14.90 for 24 hours. Desk didn't know about the closeby lot but we found it easily. Shower curtain blows in and attached itself to you as you shower. YUCH! Supplies in the way of soap, shampoo, TP etc very minimal.

Cons: Very noisy, filled with children, some rooms don't even have windows allowing daylight, which is in my opinion not ok for a 4 star hotel. When we complained the night we arrived guy at the reception said everything was booked, and walked away from coversation. The next day we actually got us a room with windows, but could not sleep because of noice from the elevator going up and down every minute, it probably have not been serviced for ages the way it sounded. We paid for the first night, checked out, and found another place, since there was no point to stay in the place, where you cannot sleep. I would categorize the place as a 2 star hotel, definetely not a 4 star.

Cons: The room was quite oldish, and our window looked at a very narrow the patio of the building. The heating was extremely overdosed, though it was coming only from the pipes, not even from the heater. So it was, in general, very hard to have some airing in the room. Also, the ceiling of the room looked moldy and made the room experience quite disappointing. The mattresses were unconfortable and seemed pretty much old/over-used. Not to mention that the TV-commander of the room was belonging to another device in a room four stores above us. Finally, as of the breakfast, it was very simple for a 3-star hotel with terrible coffee and tasteless charcuterie.

Pros:
Cons: Only one receptionist spoke well in English, with the others being very poor communication. That's why we had a parking problem first day because the receptionist who checked in told us that there was no parking. The next day we were lucky to another receptionist who said the indoor garage was full, but outside the corner had an outdoor parking where it was possible to park. Another problem was the room we got the first day - dirty, stinky and daylight, incredibly awful room. We have not experienced such a thing !!! Fortunately, the next day we exchanged it for a little better at the reception. Overall, the hotel's facilities are old, worn out, it's all dirty ... We did not like it at all. We definitely do not return to this hotel.

Cons: The room temperature is cold. Heater is weak. You have to pay for everything, parking, pet accommodation, jacuzzi, breakfast. ( breakfast not good, cold bacon and egg) You will end up paying for more than 100 euros a night. Better look for more expensive hotel as the expenses will be just the same
