Staff very pleasant. Good location right in the middle of Yeovil.
Room was too small. Light bulb broken in bedside light. Water a bit lukewarm. Continental breakfast really poor. Only 3 coat hangers. No spoon for tea and coffee.
Property itself was good, but made a mistake when booking got charged twice although I’ve only stayed the once, was told by staff that the company will normally refund the second date but no got charged for it, tried to sort it out with the venue and booking.com but useless...
The lack of support trying to solve an issue
It was central to the shops
It was perfect
This was a cheap and cheerful stop off for the night on my way between 2 locations, for the price that I paid it really is not right to complain. This is a cheap and cheerful, no frills room for the night at a wallet friendly rate. The room was clean and comfortable and the high street is just a short walk away.
Very little to write here, you could criticise elements of this property but it simply is what it is. It also looks like the owners are making an effort to redecorate too. Basic accommodation at a basic price....nothing wrong with that.
Staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for me. Food was great.
No Guinness in the bar over Christmas !
