The Hampton Inn & Suites Vicksburg, MS hotel, the city's new premier hotel, opened its doors in the spring of 2006. This hotel is a sophisticated facility combined with Mississippi hospitality and old-world charm. In the heart of the Historic Park District, the Hampton Inn & Suites is located directly across from the Vicksburg National Military Park. Vicksburg's new flagship hotel features 123 guest rooms including 34 spacious studio suites. Accommodations are distinctive and charming with signature southern style. The hotel also has an executive level with extras such as in-room web consoles and truffles at turndown. All guest rooms have microwaves, refrigerators and DVD players. Pros (+) Beds were cozy and the staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed the Civil War park across the street. Good family stop on the way to Florida.
