Pros (+) This is a nice hotel in a great location on the island of Lido. Lido is a *much* nicer place to stay than Venice. Venice is hot, sterile, noisy, wall-to-wall masonry covered with wall-to-wall tourists. Lido is green, beautiful, quiet, populated by regular people riding bikes, kids pushing scooters, etc., and much cheaper than Venice. Good restaurants and shops are a block from the hotel.
