Pros: Terrific little hotel. Quaint and comfy with that old seaside cottage feel but all the mod cons. Had a room on the front and enjoyed a late dinner of takeaway pizza (from the Barkmill Tavern) and drinks on our little deck. Amazing breakfast of cereal, juice, yoghurt, fruit, cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, coffee - so good. Such a friendly and welcoming host, thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend

Pros: Every little detail to make our stay comfortable had been thought of , from fresh milk to have with our tea in the room , to the brilliant night light in the very well equipped bathroom with its excellent shower. The bed was extremely comfortable with an electric blanket should be need it. We came to stay here for two night with my sons , so we had two very comfortable rooms next to each other and our Balcony could open into theirs which was great. We enjoyed the complementary port in the evening another very thoughtful touch also the breakfast each morning with home made bread and beautifully cooked bacon , eggs and even black pudding , a real treat. The location is perfect if you are traveling up the East Coast to St Helens and the Bay of fires. On our first day we explored Freycinet National park and it was very convenient to come back to Swansea for the evening . There are some good places to have dinner within an easy walk , the pub was particularly good , but make sure you book as it gets very busy. All in all a perfect stay !

Pros: The attention to detail was exemplary. The period paintings and furniture were complimented by the warmth and knowledge shared by our hosts. Breakfast this morning out on the glorious veranda overlooking the ocean was totally superb. A wonderful selection of freshly strewed fruits, juices, smoothies, pastries and bread ( all homemade ! ) was only the beginning to a magnificent cooked breakfast served hot and extremely well presented. Truly loved our stay here and only wish we stayed longer.
Cons: Nothing.... other than having to leave !

Pros: The generosity of the hosts was outstanding. Cheerful, willing to meet every need, and committed to the guests. Breakfast was quite remarkable (and extremely delicious) - particularly knowing that the hosts had risen at 4.30 am to provide freshly baked items.
Cons: It is difficult to fault this accomodation. We arrived in Swansea late in the afternoon and it was recommended to us in a bakery by one of the locals. She spoke of it with awe, and for good reason. There was even an old piano in the shared lounge room, which was in tune and great fun to play.

Cons: Restaurant was very nice but service bit slow.
6,0 Good
Pros: The scenery. The cabins.
Cons: Restaraunt was not very kid friendly. No cola, chips, or cholclate-anything avaliable. The steak was sent back because 'rare' is their standard. When it came back it was not much better. We were never asked how we liked steak. Before selecting the 3 course set menu we asked what were the courses and it took 5 minutes to convince them it was ok to tell us what would be served!

8,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place. Great room with sea views and a nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Very enjoyable stay.
Cons: Nothing much.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location being walking distance to the town facilities. The restraint was good value and the room had a nice view. Room was large and there is free laundry facilities. There is also a bar and bottle shop if you need refreshments. Easy parking and a quiet location.
Cons: The building has been designed so that the south eastern rooms have sea views, but the rooms are staggered meaning there is a small window that overlooks the balcony of the next room. You therefore have to keep that curtain closed for privacy reasons. I would therefore recommend a north east facing room as that part of the building has traditional balconies.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: All that we needed for an overnight stay
Cons: Property is a bit dated decor wise, but was adequate for our one night stay
5,0 Okay
Pros: View of the shore
Cons: Overpriced twice the price of a normal motel, old rooms, poor beds. They have a restaurant and the food is really bad and also overpriced.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: You can hear all the noise from the neighbours.
