5,7 Okay
Pros: It is very central for the town of Stavanger.....high spec hotel and it has a paying underground car park which is handy but very busy at weekends
Cons: The hotel has noise on many sides but it is a city centre hotel. I find as lite sleeper......main road with traffic lots of the time, rooms over the tax ir rank where they coma and go allnite with doors etc. At the back there is a club with rock bands which play weekends and empty at 2am with associated noise.
7,7 Good
Pros: Good location, room and breakfast.
6,3 Good
Pros: On arrival the booking in process was very quick. On departure there were no problems getting a taxi in the morning which can be a problem at the other Radissson close by.
Cons: The restaurant was too busy at breakfast time to get a seat without sharing a table.
7,7 Good
Pros: Location, computers in lobby, comfortable beds, hepful staff, nice loooking building
Cons: The restaurant was not open which was a disappointment after our excellent meal at the Radisson Caledonian in Kristiansand. However, this turned out to our benefit as we were forced to go out and as there was a food festival on in Stavanger on the waterfront, this turned out to be a very enjoyable experience.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: breakfast was big good and had good selection.

Clarion Collection Hotel Skagen Brygge - Stavanger - Building
3
8,7 Excellent (673 reviews)
R2 360+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Clarion Collection Hotel Skagen Brygge, you'll be centrally located in Stavanger, within a 5-minute walk of Stavanger Cathedral and Norwegian Petroleum Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Early check in and late check out are chargeable.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and friendly staff. Nice evening meal and breakfast.
Cons: There were no toiletries except soap in the bathroom. The rooms could benefit from some renovation.
7,1 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Room 424 suffered from terrible noise from outside the hotel during the night. Groups of late night revellers kept us awake for most of the night. The noise was unacceptable. The hotel staff claim they know about this and that it happens constantly on a Friday and Saturday night. Why doesn’t someone call the police and get them to move these people on? If this isn’t possible the hotel should advise their customers and a reduction in price should be offered.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in great location and staff very helpful
Cons: Not cheap
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: I would have liked to have more shelf space in the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location! Room was nice and even my fold out bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also good with lots of choice and staff on the desk were all polite and helpful.
7,1 Good
Pros: Nice location facing the harbour and stavanger old town. Dinner (or as I later found out was a simple/light meal) was adequate but nothing special. Bread was fresh though. Breakfast had larger selection. We didn’t have issues with large ships coming into harbour or weekend nightlife causing noise, but with the window open (even albeit only vertically) one can hear even one single passerby talking on the phone. That’s how it is I guess!
Cons: I was so lucky with the weather that the amazing harbour facing room I booked was super hot when we checked in. There was no way to make it cooler. The bottom handle on the window was broken so one can only open the window vertically not horizontally. Raised all these with a staff which to be fair it was quite late and she was on her own, she gave us one other room as an option (the only one available, I’m told) but it wasn’t harbour facing and I would have to drag the extra bed myself (!). So we didn’t opt to change rooms. Booked a superior double room for 3 and it was a little tight, not sure it was great value for money. Plus I stayed on a Mon night and they seem to lower their rates only on weekends.
Clarion Hotel Stavanger - Stavanger - Building
4
8,6 Excellent (1 206 reviews)
R2 101+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Clarion Hotel Stavanger, you'll be centrally located in Stavanger, just a 4-minute walk from Stavanger Cathedral and 6 minutes by foot from Stavanger Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out.
6,0 Good
Pros: Good location, nice bar with good music
Cons: Rooms sucked. Elephants on room above. Couldn't regulate temp well. Only served American coffee. Had to pay extra for two people which means you're just obviously paying for the "free" breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The rom, the bed, the view, the staff, best breakfast ever and the bereakfast time last to 12am
Cons: The snacks and the drinks in the minibar - to expensive. The air in the reseption was bad for me. I am allergic. I think it cames from the fireplace.
6,0 Good
Pros: I do not eat so much to taste every proposed dish! Good for the choice, but too much for me. Location nice for Walking around in the old town, and restaurants.
Cons: Bed too soft. Matelas with springs Noisy . More worst : Normally I do not have to pay immediatly as per indicated on booking reservation At reception when arriving, I've been told that only take a print of my credit card but when I checked out I've been told that I already paid? I was very surprised! The price was same as indicated on my booking reservation, but I found that the first night rate was low and the 2 other much higher… this is not fair , almost irregular! I never be back to this hotel. And will be very much suspicious with bookig.com! I think you're almost malhonest, at least take avantage of your position.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay
Cons: The burger was a bit tasteless. Needs a bit more seasoning. When you write you are 2 adults and 1 child (6years), you presume there would be an extra bed in the room apart from double bed. This was however sorted when we asked for it.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Its the Clarion in the middle of the city. What's there not to like?
Cons: COST! To be honest, for this amount of money, certain things like the minibar should be on the house. No toothpaste in the rooms, a separate Ironing room (original, but when you a conference downstairs, you have a queue for the irons.).
7,5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Good location. Easy to get to from the airport. Clean and comfortable room.
Cons: The bar and food are expensive.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff. Best breakfast around.
Cons: Good value but don't expect decor to be substantially better than ikea.
7,1 Good
Cons: The property was not what was in the picture. Not a terrible location, but not what was pictured.
Sola Strand Hotel - Stavanger - Bedroom

8,5 Excellent (1 564 reviews)
R2 173+
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Sola Strand Hotel in Sola, you'll be by the sea, within a 15-minute drive of Kvadrat Shopping Center and Museum of Archaeology. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 15 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Classic seaside resort hotel
Cons: Dinner options were limited without prior reservation.
7,1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was great, and the location superb. We were lucky with the weather and got to take a stroll on the beach
Cons: When I arrived to check in they did not have my booking and no available double rooms. The solution was a single room with two beds. Therefor it got a bit crammed, and not ideal with two single beds for comfort as you would fall into the gap. The only discount I got for this issue was 200 Kr, I could have argued more but was also unsure. Have learned afterwarfs that this is nothing... I also felt like there was a cigarette like smile in the room as you walked in
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, Spa and beach
Cons: Noise coming to the rooms
7,0 Good
Pros: As a conference venue it was very good. The location was interesting: out of town, but that was a bonus as it meant that the attendees could not escape easily! You had to make an effort to get into the town. I liked the newer rooms but the ones in the old part are very tired and need upgrading. It is not really a four star venue by international standards, but it was very comfortable, clean and the staff were excellent. The food was also very very good. if you like "lodge" appeal, then this has it.
Cons: That you could not just use the pool at your convenience as a guest, but that you had to pay for a day's use. This meant that I did not use it as I could not get the value in between my commitments.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff all round. Sadly had to catch an early flight, but the staff were kind enough to offer us a packed breakfast to take with us. The room was light and open with a magical sea view, it was easy to get a good nights sleep with noise down to a minimum. My partner and I took advantage of the spa on site and the fact the beach was on the front door. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Cons: That we couldn't stay longer.

6,7 Good
Pros: Cleanliness. Wow, this hotel was one of the cleanests I have ever stayed in. Spacious room, spacious bathroom.
Cons: The breakfast- limited options, coffee was awful, they need to reconsider the amount of ground coffee they put to the drip brewer, coffee was way too bland, they don't replenish the items unless you find the lady and request her, milk is finished, juice is not there, bread is finished, understaffed too. The room- at least a chair and a clock somewhere would be great. Noisy helicopter ambulance arrival. Location- not that close to the city center, takes about 30 minutes to get there on foot.
6,7 Good
Cons: Somehow missed when booking, that parking not free
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and good beds
Cons: The helicopter outside every morning

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Have stayed here for a while now, nice rooms, location is central and only 10 minutes from work. Good transport links and everything you need is within walking distance. Plenty of coffee shops, supermarket close by and a few restaurants within 3-4 minutes walk. 8 minute walk to the train station. Automated check-in
Cons: Some rooms do not have a basin plug. Towels are replaced too late in the stay, sometimes a day or so before check-out. 202 has noisy HVAC. Room card does not work for the hotel reception door and you have to buzz and explain yourself.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Location is exelent.
Cons: With offering breakfast, that would be fair to provide information what breakfast consist of.
6,7 Good
Pros: The location is excellent. The Staff was very helpful.
Cons: The room did not have refrigerator. The cleaning service could be provided only at an extra charge.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Only location
Cons: Brekfest in packegees every day the same. Roome cleening only with aditional payment.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was great, in the middle of downtown. Breakfast is a takeaway from the convenience store. It was nice for a breakfast but not great if one is looking for a hot breakfast.
Cons: The machine check in was not the best way of check in for me. It is convenient for the hotel but as a guest, it lacks the personal touch for checking into a hotel. With chances of asking question or getting clarification.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything! Great place in the centre of Stavanger.
Cons: No fridge, but this is just a recommendation
6,3 Good
Pros: Location of hotel is excellent!
Cons: It was very interesting experience to get instead of breakfast small lunch packets. Room cleaning once per 10 days aren’t enough.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The Hotel has a very good location in the middle of Stavanger shopping area and lots of bars and restaurants close by.
Cons: The rooms are very small. I found it hard to find a suitable place for my suitcase. Batroom is also a little small. Breakfast restaurant can be very crowded.
6,3 Good
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: hot
7,3 Good
Pros: Nice room and a a central hotel. Clean and god beds.
7,3 Good
Pros: Nicely decorated cozy room. Great breakfast with variety of choices.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location in central Stavanger was good.
Cons: I had a room under the roof, where the roof "cut off" half of the room. I could go upright to my bed. Also, the bed was extremely soft for my test, but I heard from others that their beds were better. (It is actually stated in the hotel brochure that every room has a different bed, and one should try different rooms in future stays.) Also, the room I had was very small, as was the tiny breakfast room.
6,6 Good
Pros: Hotel staff was very helpful and kind. The location is great. The breakfast selection is a little poor.
Cons: The breakfast selection is a little poor.
7,2 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable, good location and a fine breakfast. The bathroom, with its heated floor, was immaculate.
Cons: There is no wardrobe and no drawers which is plainly absurd, especially as we stayed for four days; the much advertised fireplace should be replaced by storage facilities. The car park is £14 per day and, whilst not the hotel's fault, is a cost to consider.
6,8 Good
Pros: Best Bed I have ever slept on in Norway by far!
Cons: Could not get WiFi in the room and no hardwire Internet as advertised in the room.
5,2 Okay
Pros: Clean & modern with good breakfast selection. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. Decor was pleasing to the eye.
Cons: Business room was much smaller than expected. No way to adjust fan on airconditioning only temperature. No face cloth / flanel in bathroom. Could not connect to wireless internet. No sugar provided in room. Need better check of what is missing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: THis was an excellent hotel. well located and the staff were very friendly and helpful and reallywent out of their way to make my stay most enjoyable. The facilities were excellent.
Cons:

Unique location by Forum conference centre. Stay in one of our spacious rooms and after a long day enjoy the fantastic views from our sky bar on the 20th floor.
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was really good with a lot's of choice and good quality. Waiters, cooks and staff very kind and professional. Not many equipments in the fitness room but enough to train. City center is at 30' walk.
Cons: Cleaning was ok but could have been better done: After a long stay, there was dust on the furnitures and the floor was not cleaned every days. No free parking even if the hotel is outside the city center. Parking is possible in a public parkingwith a negociated price but still quite expensive. For the price, the parking should be included.

Pros: The most surprising thing was how delicious and varied breakfast was every day. What's more, the staff in the restaurant was very attentive, helpful and polite. It was a real pleasure to have a meal with an amazing view and in a friendly and nice atmosphere. Also, we slept like babies because the hotel was very quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable - all you need to get a good rest.
