When I booked I didn’t know the hotel was all inclusive. That was totally fine. I was given a white band to identify that I wasn’t all inclusive, but that just let to me being told multiple times I needed to pay every restaurant I want, while I already clearly understood. I decided to pay cash through my stay and not charge anything to the room. One of the times I went to the restaurant, the first night, I pulled out my car and it was returned. The waiter said they don’t accept cards in that area so I could charge Jr to the room. I had already signed the sheet thinking it was for the visa charge. I then asked if I found just pay cash, and I left the cash after he said yes. I also left the slip, because I didn’t need it. When I was checking out, the waiter had left the slip in the check book and he must have handed it in by accident. It’s a resort and plenty people being taken care of I can understand how that happened. The issue I had was when I was leaving I was held by management for 40 minutes extra trying to explain this, and I was becoming very late to Cath my flight. I paid anyway because it was just $20. The incident did make me feel like it was also racially discrimination. I felt like I was being treated different through my stay. This incident made it worse. I was a total mistake on the waiters part, but management didn’t even try to understand that it could have been him. I paid every day and every meal after that cash, he acknowledged that I have him the card and returned it, but I said I would pay cash and did that. I honestly think he was just busy and handed the slip in by accident. My issue is solely on how management treated me. It was very embarrassing. And I think the were real being racist because I was the only person of African decent at the hotel during the stay.
