10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was impressed with this very charming hotel near the waterfront. My room had high quality and tasteful furnishings, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A great option for a short stay, room was comfortable and clean. Lovely location next to the lake with an amazing sunset in summer and the staff were friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was also very good
Cons: Little bit of a walk to get to the restaurants, bars etc but not to bad
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely comfortable and big size room with fireplace. Bed was so comfortable. Staff went out of their way to help us find the right tour.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location was quiet, and very comfortable. Walkable to the lakefront and the town centre for restaurants etc. Breakfast was fair. The window curtains were pretty but not practical however, as they do not close completely, and thus let in a lot of light in the summer -- which means you cannot sleep in properly. But everything else, the garden, the staff are really very nice for a short stay in the city.
Cons: Just the curtains.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The old-style architecture & room interior was very cozy & beautiful. It was very clean & a very short walk to Onega & the Main Street. Staff was very nice & helpful. Also there was a fireplace which is very awesome but we didn’t use it.
Cons: Breakfast was limited for a vegan but I found this problem in ALL hotels I’ve stayed at in the Russian Federation.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff welcome, the room is cozy and has everything, breakfast is awesome. Very close to the lake and everything is a 20 minutes walk away or less...
Cons: The mattress was too soft, I have neck problems and it kinda affected my back the first night...But that's a personal thing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very pleased and kindly. Good location just in 5 min from the lakeside. Room is clean and comfortable. And pool with sauna! Relax for you :-)
Cons: It's not a problem of the hotel itself but there is literally nothing to see in the town and especially for children. The nature is wonderful and no more.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Personnel was very friendly, 4 tiny pillows
Cons: WiFi, bathroom needs renovation

5,4 Okay
Pros: Location of the hotel is very good. Breakfast buffet is very simple, the choice is not very big although the food looks fresh and it tastes nice. The personnel is very helpful in some cases like bringing us extra blanket...
Cons: Bathroom. The shell was very dirty and with smone's hair - yuck... in the shower cabin on the ceiling there was a rusty door that wasn't pleasant to see for such money at all... the heated towel rail wasn't working for the first day and all in all it was terribly cold in the shower... hair dryer was very weak and terribly smelly like if it was close to break down... honestly I was afraid using it after it started to smell... Bedroom. And it was very dirty under the bed, my 4yo was hiding under the bed and came out of there very dirty... The personnel is very polite and trying to help but the organisation (cleaning, central air conditioning is very loud and etc) and the building is way too far from the good quality... There was no lake view as the ad was promising :) I guess I'm a spoiled person as I am not travelling around Russia very often and for me the hotel is not worth the money that's charged
7,1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, although one day they put sugar into the kefir.
Cons: wifi did not work in the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent services right from food to in-house stay. The front desk staff specially Maria was very friendly and provided the right information to explore the right places to hangout. I would strongly recommend this property as this has a great view of the largest river Onega of Russia from the balcony and is a picture perfect to capture beautiful moments
Cons: None
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel is very good. There are always free parking places in the parking area! Today the personnel is smiling and friendly. In addition to this, most of them are fluent in English! The rooms of hotel are large with nice view over Lake Onega and the city. In hotel premises you'll always find space to sit down for a small-team meeting. And ten points for the breakfast!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The views are amazing. Reception staff very friendly and good level of English.
Cons: Restaurant staff were slow. Food in Panorama not of a very high standard.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location. All clean and great! Nice people working. Everything was just great.
Cons: Interior a bit oldfashioned
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location is good, includes many good services in the hotel like bar and panoramic restaurant.

According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to a pier to take ferry to Kizhi island.
Cons: The pricing was confusing. I booked a room with two beds for two people. When we got to the hotel, the staff told us that the price we pre-paid is for one bed that accomodates 2 people. For the 2nd bed set up, pretty much a set of sheets, we had to pay extra. I found it ridiculous
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist that greeted us Sunday 5th afternoon (Alena) was amazing and she went above and beyond to help us. She helped us ring a company we found doing the different tours. She was very friendly as were most of the staff in the hotel. The restaurant staff were great too!
Cons: The lady in the business office unfortunately was very pessimistic about visiting Kizhi Island (saying the church had burnt down and people wouldn't be traveling there yet with ice). She nearly put us off trying to look at getting to kizhi Island as she said there weren't excursions. She did however give us a number for a tour office.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, good restaurant, good Wi-Fi. Provided good assistance for trip to Kizhi Island as well as taxi from and to the railway station.
4,2 Okay
Cons: Peter Inn was a better hotel. Staff was very receptive and helpful. Karelia - bathroom towel hangars were breaking down. No vegeterian food. Reception impolite. Booked a tour on karelia hotel to kizhi - bad operator.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Near the lake Spacious room Reception are friendly and speak English Food is amai
Cons: A bit far from center
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A nice view from the room, spa and location
Cons: In the evenings we could not use the balcony because of the mosquitoes
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved staying.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A well organized business hotel with great reception stuff, very good breakfast and clean and spacious rooms.
Cons: Only remark: we wanted to do a daytrip to the nearby islands and the associated hotel tour holding could not (yet) offer a boat trip at the desired day and time. Even after explicitly asking for "other options", no options were mentioned, although many other operators exist as we figured out.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very comfortable, I loved the lake-view! The beds were absolutely marvelous. Karelia, both the hotel and the region, waw beautifull and I am sorry I could not stay longer. I will return for sure!
Cons: There was some confusion about the kizhi-excursion and its price. It turned out a bit more expensive than expected (though still reasonable). Same for the prices and reservations for the spa.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The location was very peaceful and the surroundings lovely. The view from my balcony was amazing. The room was very comfortable. The dinner menu was very good. It was great that the hotel offered a discount for trips to the island of Kizhi (and were most helpful about booking it for me), which was the highlight of my visit to Petrozavodsk.
Cons: The breakfast was fairly average. On the first night there was a very loud party in the function room next to the restaurant, which meant having dinner there was not so pleasant because of the noise.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect bed and pillows. Nice room. Clean. Decent breakfast
6,7 Good
Pros: The location is good, the room was specious and clean
Cons: Service is terrible. Particulary: 1. Food at the breakfast is not enough. Every morning you eat whatever is left, especially if you come around 10.30am (but breakfast is till 11am). When we ask to refill food, the waiter told us sorry but big tourist group came earlier and ate everything, so can't cook more as breakfast time is almost over. This was rediculious!! 2. Room service: we asked to clean our room, and left the room around 10am. When we came back around 4pm, room was not clean yet. While we were resting, they came to clean in at around 5pm. 3. Difficult parking. The hotel has a parking but this is not available for hotel guests. When we ask at the reception how we could use the parking, they told us just to tell the guy at the parking our room number. BUT there was nobody at the parking to tell our room no., so nobody could let us in!! 4. Not all staff speak English. And generally staff at the restaurant is not polite. 5. Bathroom in the room: when you take shower, the water is everywhere, there is no shower door or floor border to stop the water.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good location and nice to have floor heating in cold weather.
Cons: I believe we should have late check out.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was comfy. Close to station and a quite room

7,9 Good
Pros: Secure parking, clean rooms with big bathroom, air condition. Good breakfast. About 10 - 15 min walk to the lake.
Cons: The pillows in the bed were not the greatest. Hotel situated next to train station so ask for a quiet room to the other direction.
10,0 Excellent

7,5 Good
Pros: excellent location, right were you need to be,clean and modern facilities with cafe' and resturant in site.Probably the best place to stay in this town, all considered

Cons: None
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Located just opposite the train station Good breakfast Spacious and comfortable room
Cons: Nothing
7,3 Good
Pros: convenient
Cons: No exercise room, uncomfortable lobby
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location if you're arriving by train - it's right next to the train station. The breakfast is very good. My bathroom had a heated floor which was lovely (but rather necessary to dry up the shower overflow - see below).
Cons: It won't win any prizes for style - my room was decorated in toy-box colours of bright red, blue and white - but it's perfectly comfortable and clean. The only real problem was the shower which had no screen, so the water went all over the bathroom floor.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff, great location right by the lake shore. Comfortable room, great shower. Staff were happy to give me a kettle to keep in my room. They were also very accommodating when letting me check out late (although this was an additional cost, it was reasonable).
Cons: As far as I could see, the sauna was closed, and it was definitely banya weather! It would have been nice to have breakfast in a room that overlooked the lake shore.

7,1 Good
Pros: It looks differently in the photos. In reality it’s like an old Soviet-style hotel.
Cons: Shower is uncomfortable, not enough towels, also there’re no night curtains.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice location, great restaurant
Cons: We booked 2 nice rooms and 2 regular rooms. They gave us just 1 nice room (due to availability) and 3 regulars where we had no hot water since checkin around 5 pm till check out at 8. I had to argue for some time to get any sort of compensation (4 breakfasts instead of 2 we paid for and free parking). The Door knob was broken and few other little things here and there that required attention
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, worth it’s money
Cons: The restaurant downstairs is very loud when there are celebrations and parties, but not always.
7,9 Good
Pros: Good mid-range hotel with an excellent gym! ;) ... rooms are ok and there is a huge restaurant and bar. How ever, on weekdays you might feel it too big :) ... just next door there is an excellent Karelian restaurant! Secure parking on site!
Cons: :)
4,2 Okay
Cons: The place smelt like an old man, the carpet in the hall and the room smelt bad. You could see they used staples to keep the carpet down on the floor. The vent wasn't working in the bathroom so someone lifted a ceiling tile so the steam could go up into the gap in the floor. The shower curtain didn't reach the floor so the whole bathroom got wet. The curtain for the main window was thin and the lights from the courtyard shone through, it was like it was daylight in my room and they didn't turn the courtyard lights off till about 3pm. The bed sagged and the pillow was like rocks, I couldn't use it so I rolled up some of my clothes to use as a pillow. I have slept in cheaper hostels in better condition than this hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, clean room, friendly staff. The interior of the halls, rooms and restaurant corresponds with the exterior of the building. A lot of restaurants and the picturesque Onega lake embankment are easy walkable from the hotel.
Cons: The room was rather small. You can't step on the floor from the bed if you sleep on the side that's next to the window.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great! Walking distance to the train station and the lake. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was exceptional! I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Severnaya hotel is probably the easiest place to stay in Petrozavodsk, it is right in the city center. Very good and comfortable

9,2 Excellent
Pros: comfortable beds, toilets, available fridge and Microwave, free drinking water.
Cons: pure WiFi
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Petrozavodsk is quite a small city so this hotel was close to train and bus station, also the sea and the pier. There were 2 receptionists at the time of our stay, one, a very sweet girl who could speak English perfectly and was super helpful, the other who was unable to speak English and seemed quite hard to communicate with, though with the help of Google Translate I guess she could try to be more welcoming! The property was getting cleaned regularly by nice & kind staff
Cons: Non only the receptionist I mentioned!
7,1 Good
Pros: Clean cozy hotel with great location at the center of the city
Cons: Shared bath shower: the temperature of water cannot be adjusted as it is automatically set and it was really hot( The price of breakfast proposed by hotel is higher than if you go to cafe (where hotel feed their quests) and order the same dishes by yourself.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: the bed and towel were amazing, the location is nice (even kind of a jail over the road wasn't bad
Cons: there was no kitchen on the floor (only a fridge and a microwave), and the shower was unusual (a room with a few taps with no walls between, so several naked people of one sex could be in a room at once). NB: this works only for rooms without bathroom inside!!! also the walls of rooms aren't thick, so you'll hear everything from the corridor.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very good location near center of the city. Everything was there, just couple minutes walking. Car parking on the street by hotel but felt safe. Very clean and cozy room.
Cons: Internet...Wi- Fi was very difficult to use. Impossible to log in. Some new Russian system.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: all perfect! there is only a microwave for cooking and a fridge. comfortable and excellent location for both the ferry and the city center.
Cons: Many rooms without aggregation!
