10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was so delicious. We felt so well taken care of. We had dinner on the rooftop and we were the only ones. The cook and the waitress really made us feel at home
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's in a lovely building, next to the cathedral, the rooms are elegant and spacious, there's a decent view from the rooftop terrace and the reception staff are exceptionally helpful. We liked the hotel, and Otranto, so much that we returned later in the week for a second night.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location right in the centre of town. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English.
Cons: An independent restaurant, not in any way associated with the hotel, said that it had the reputation for being the best in Otranto. That said, it did not live up to the 5 stars on the entrance plaque, more like three stars in the UK. Not wishing to be churlish, or over critical: The bedroom was tired and did not live up to the standard of the public areas. Wi-fi was appalling. When will hotels realise that this is as important as hot running water? Whilst the breakfast had the full range of variety, the overall impression is that it had been produced to a price and not a standard. There is no excuse for serving the poorest quality orange juice in a country that produces so many oranges! A word on Otranto generally: this small town has long ago surrendered to mass tourism but the Cathedral is spectacular.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. We were picked up from the car park in a golf trolley. The location was very good: right in the heart of the centro storico. From the rooftop looking over the sea. Good breakfast.
Cons: Our room was small and we didn’t have a window to look through, but we knew that before hand, as we were late bookers and got the last room in the hotel. There was a black hair on the bed sheet!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location right in the heart of the old town, rooftop terrace for cocktails at sunset.cleanliness and luxury at the end of our holiday
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Quiet location, lovely restaurant and very friendly staff.
Cons: Not being able to have access to any food from after breakfast time until dinner time. No lunch options available. Pros: The breakfast terrace was beautiful and had amazing views over the harbour, especially pretty at sunrise. The place had a lovely family feel, very welcoming and friendly. The location is fantastic and so easy for evening dinner and drinks nearby- spoilt for choice! You can't get to it by car instead order a tuktuk to come and collect your luggage from your car and bring you to the B&B, it's loads of fun and 10 euro each way.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: friendly&helpful staff, great location, stylish hotel
Cons: can't think of anything.
7,9 Good
Pros: Good location, big room, easy access and free parking.
Cons: Service is far from 4 star quality. Also I was expecting a jacuzzi/pool and a fitness center as it is rated 4 starts, but it has none. I also asked for an iron and they did not even have that, so in my experience it is more like a 3 star hotel. It is cheap, so save to say that you get what you pay for.
7,1 Good
Pros: Great location close to the town, but fairly quiet. The hotel has a lovely courtyard and some great roof terraces. Parking was just across the road in the hotels own car park and was free. My wife wanted a manicure and pedicure which the staff arranged for her to have in their sister hotel.
Cons: Our air conditioning was not working on arrival at lunchtime on Saturday and was not fixed until Monday afternoon, which meant that we had two uncomfortable nights. Our travelling companion had no air conditioning for the entire week. She was offered another room, but declined as it was not as nice as the room that she had booked.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The nautical memorabilia gave the hotel an individual feel and sense of character. The catamaran trip was a fabulous bonus - would recommend the hotel for this alone!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful Hotel Corte di Nettuno. When I booked online, It seemed like a nice (if not fantastic) hotel, reasonable for the price range. What I found was a unique hotel that seemed like a big, friendly B&B. The hotel is like a museum with old maritime and nautical artifacts, maps, etc right throughout the main areas of the hotel and the rooms. It gives it such a nice feel. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and helpful and I was welcomed with a glass of Prosecco. They spoke English very well. They have a restaurant on site. Their house red wine was beautiful - highly recommended. The meal I had was delicious and reflective of local Puglian cuisine (calimari for starters and the orrichette pasta for mains). There are small (and crowded in August) beaches in town, but the hotel offers a shuttle service to the long sandy Alimini beach about 5km north of Otranto. They also have a deal where you get an umbrella and 2 sun lounges for 15 Euro for the day at this beach (which is private like many of the beaches in Europe). When I missed my shuttle coming back late in the afternoon, I was able to call the hotel and they immediately booked me on the next shuttle. Finally, my room was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and the design of the room was fantastic, with a little loft / mezzanine area with a couch that could double as another single bed (along with the main double bed on floor level).
Cons: There was honestly nothing bad I could say about this hotel. I gave the highest score for it's location. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to the back entrance of the old town, walking around the harbour / port. This was a perfect location for me (not too busy / noisy and probably a little less expensive than staying right in the old town itself), although some people might prefer to be right in the middle of the action of the old town.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel that is in a good position just a 5 minute walk from the old town. Friendly staff, providing a good service, nice breakfast and offering a free 2.5 hour boat trip. Free parking. The historical nautical themed hotel was interesting and not done on half measures.
Cons: There is nothing to disappoint about the hotel. I had trouble with the tv but we hadn't come on holiday to watch it, generally a nice hotel, an enjoyable place to stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Booked this property at the last minute. We arrived to a glass of prosecco and was shown to a lovely room with an attached courtyard. Absolutely superb. Reception staff very accommodating and helpful. Free parking across road. Great breakfast. If needing a hotel within 200 metres of Otranto old town without the usual historic centre problems this is the one for you.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place to stay with a family. Lovely and clean and close to the main centre for food and entertainment. The split level rooms were great.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast and nothing too much trouble.Wish I had command of the language but we got by.
Cons: Enjoyable stay and as I knew about the location, I cannot say there was anything I didn't like. Walk the lanes and smell the hedgerows. Fennel, sage, rosemary. Beautiful.
5,8 Okay
Pros: IT was Nice and clean
Cons: We took it because of the bicycles but they were too small and rusty
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We travelled as a family of 5 and La Zudrea was a fantastic place to stay for us. Spacious, quiet and relaxing to break away from the crowd. The owner was always very friendly and approachable from the moment we arrived when he offered us a fantastic espresso coffee and juices. The breakfast is fantastic, freshly made croissants and pasticciotto leccese (local sweet)
Cons: Given the summer season, there were many mosquitos but you can use some repellent and that’s all!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Relax
Cons: There is no windows at the room
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Vicente (if I remember well), our host, is the best host you could possibly have, and this is really something. He serves the breakfast every day and is always keen to help you or give the recommendations you need. The place is well located and you can easily go (by car) to the beaches (e.g., baia dei turchi) and the towns in the nearby (otranto and Lecce a bit farther but still reachable). Besides being very well served, the place is wonderful, it’s full of olives, very comfortable, you can use the bikes, and the breakfast is delicious.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Your delicious breakfast is served right in the garden. And the beaches around Otranto are amazing.

Cons: Not walking distance to the beach.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Super clean. Spacious. Fantastic large pool with superb views across the plains to the sea. Great breakfast on gorgeous terrace. Staff at breakfast and at bar very friendly.
Cons: A slightly more personal approach, in particular at reception, would have made this perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location of this property, along with the facilities were perfect. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The private terrace was a nice extra touch. The food in the restaurant was very good. The staff were also very kind.
Cons: The service could be improved, there were not enough staff in the evenings meaning the wait for food and drinks was very long.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The view, the cleanliness, the pool and and accomodating staff.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay here. A relaxing setting with beautiful views.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed our stay here. Great locatiion.fabulous view over Otranto.
Cons: Breakfast not good. Had to get in before the cyclists devoured everthing. Had to ask ever morning for the bacon and eggs to be replenished!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. It was a great stay.
Cons: The breakfast was ok but could have been better (the scrambled eggs were cold). But apart from that everything was great.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Francesco. Nothing was too much trouble. The room as made up every day, despite as a family being late risers.
Cons: Although there was always plenty of fruit available at breakfast I would have welcomed a better selection of cereal including muesli and granola.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing with quality restaurants, the beach and town in easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and quiet. The outdoor pool was quiet and there was plenty of space to relax without fighting for sunbeds.
Cons: We were a little disappointed to be told on booking and check in that the use of the pool in the spa area was free to then be asked for 20 euros per person when we tried to use it.
7,1 Good
Pros: Nice atmosphere around pool.
Cons: Had a problem with WiFi which I had to solve myself - staff uninterested.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location very close to the city centre, only 5-10 min walking distance to the old fort. Fantastic english speaking staff, always available and helpful in any way possible. The breakfast was nice, and the pool was fantastic! Great quiet pool location with a nice pool bar offering drinks and food. The hotel has a shuttle bus taking you to the beach whenever you prefer. Really enjoyed this hotel, highly recommended.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, fantastic breakfast spread, great location just a short walk to the old town. Pillows were thin but we just phoned reception and they very quickly sent up extras for us.
Cons: Beds were hard, pillows very thin
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A decent sized swimming pool that in September was not busy - though when we arrived at the week end it was quite busy.
Cons: The breakfast was extensive but lacking in fresh fruit and the cereals were basic: no granola or natural oat cereals and no nuts or seeds.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic as was the location, the room was spacious.
Cons: My sons bed collapsed in the middle of the night but easy to put right
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff on reception were very helpful and efficient. Room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed (though a kettle in the room would have been nice). Breakfast was excellent - hot options as well as a big range of fruits and very nice pastries. Otranto is a beautiful place, our favourite of the 5 places we stayed on our tour round Puglia. Lovely pedestrian sea front with a great choice of bars and restaurants, superb cathedral and castle. Oh, and some stunning beaches as well.
Cons: Maybe a bit dated in style but we liked it.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent...literally stone's throw from old town and sea...breakfast very good... staff very friendly...very good value for money

Cons: The shower was extremely small as well as the beds.
7,1 Good
Pros: The hotel is very grand and old however it is a little far from the main town of Otranto (which is lovely) and was a bit of a walk down a busy road which would not be any good if you were older or with children. It has a lovely garden and the breakfast was good.
Cons: Just a bit far away from the main town.

Cons: Location, although only a 10 minutes walk to the town, it could only be done via a busy road

Pros: As I had such a wonderful time at Maria’s accommodation in October 2018, I had to go back again this year with my sister, husband and partner and we are more than welcomed back by Maria. Maria welcomed us to her property with a very generous offer of fresh cakes and coffee which we gladly excepted. Maria is most welcoming and really full of fun. Her premises which has a lovely little farm with pigs, goats, chickens, geese and wonderful dogs are a joy to walk around. The swimming pool which is cared for by John Paul along with the bar he runs is kept very clean and John Paul is most welcoming too. I can see myself coming back here every year as it is such a comfortable and relaxing place to be, yet full of fun, love and life. Thank you Maria for all you do!!! Maggie (Margaret O’Donovan) XX
Cons: Nothing
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Its a quiet location and the owner has spent a lot of money installing a pool?
Cons: The whole package is very very tired, the rooms, dining areas and grounds are in a very poor state. The owner is friendly enough although no one speaks any english, this is not a criticism merely a fact. It needs investment to bring it to a reasonable standard, we were disappointed. If you are staying and you are prone to insect bites take the necessary sprays. You can walk to the town but its quite a hike and you will need lighting as its down a dark single track. You could argue its all about embracing the Italian culture I am afraid this has gone past this type of sentiment.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people and delicious food, just the Italian cultural experience our kids and we were looking for, thank you!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location and great great service!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location Lots of parking places Pretty close to the beach Authentic breakfast Friendly hosts
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nonna Giovanni was fantastic and her hospitality was second to none. The food was amazing and all sourced from her farm i.e. real organic. The coffee was superb and plentiful. The pool was brilliant, very clean and well managed by John-Peter. A special thank you to Lousheila who looked after us. Also a special thank you to Nonna's daughter and children who also helped to look after us.
Cons: My only small criticism and really very small one was that the farm was short of staff and as a result the cleaning and towel service was a bit of a let down.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Maria was so welcoming and helpful. The food was traditional, delicious and plentiful. The breakfast of eggs, cheese, pastries, cakes and coffee set us up for our days of exploring Otranto and local area. We came back for a swim and a rest before dinner, reading under the shade of the veranda. There was a relaxed, casual atmosphere on the farm, allowing us to wind down and feel utterly chilled by the time we left.
Cons: The chairs by the pool were a little uncomfortable to lounge on but I'm someone who happily lays on the sun-warmed stone around the edge of the pool with my feet dangling in to cool off.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble from all the staff. Fantastic pool and setting. Apartment and patio was private which was excellent. Food was amazing with fresh local produce. Great experience!!
Cons: Walk to town and beach was longer than described.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful surroundings and wonderful staff! We spent two weeks and had a lovely time. The service of Maria was outstanding!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place is a paradise on earth among an olive grove! ❤❤❤ Owner is a wonderful person, she loves to cook, loves welcome people. We ate a real feast - 12 homemade dishes from heart!!! And breakfast....with fresh cakes❤. Here you can truly relax.... THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH❤❤❤

7,1 Good
Pros: It was ok for a night. Check in was smooth, room was simple style as was bathroom. The front door was the only means to get some light in the room without having lights on. I would have preferred to control air on myself but it was set by reception. I couldn’t alter it as much as I’d like so the room was incredibly hot. Breakfast as good and staff were pleasant. Small supermarket just across the street. I would stop again if I was in the area.
Cons: Aircon not very efficient and set by reception
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to AirPort. Very friendly staff. Transfer to airport.
Cons: Location
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: This hotel is incredibly expensive for very basic, dated rooms. No rooms have windows. There are far superior options close by that are much much cheaper.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: The bathroom was dark and needs an update.
6,7 Good
Pros: Great location......very close to old city
Cons: Not a hotel .....just a bed & breakfast
6,7 Good
Pros: Location was good- out of the old town but not too far to walk. The hotel receptionist gave us a very good recommendation for dinner.
Cons: Disappointing that the wellness centre/spa was out of action- although apparently it said on the website it wasn't made very obvious until we'd already booked. We were booking using the phone app and that was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Was a very expensive room without it. Not sure what the other guests said to get free parking- maybe you get special treatment if you pay for a different room. The coffee at breakfast was dreadful.
7,1 Good
Pros: Privacy
Cons: Claustrophic rooms
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored heritage building. Staff very helpful
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff were helpful polite and welcoming and the breakfast was very good with varied choice. Short walk from the centre so well located.
Cons: The room was very modern I was expecting a traditional place, there was a nice sitting area outside but the view was awful.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the quiet hotel, no traffic noise or guest noise. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Parking was available in the underground car park. It was easy to walk into town for dinner so the car could be left in the car park.
Cons: Nothing, no complaints. It was a bit tricky to find initially but then Otranto is an old city with narrow streets & some restricted access areas.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly, breakfast was good. On our last day he served it earlier so we could eat before catching the train. Very close to the train station and a five minute walk to the town. WiFi good in the room and cleaned daily
Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excelent breakfast served by the owner. Only a 10 minute walk into Otranto. The owner and staff were very friendly and being able to park the car in the underground car park was a bonus.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I did like the strong colours and unusual furnishings in the bedrooms. The hosts were welcoming and gave suggestions of where to go in the oldtown. Very safe car park under the property. Less than 15 minutes walk and you are in the old town.
Cons: It was right on the main road into town, but that did mean it was easy to get into the old town. Would have preferred fresh bread at breakfast.
2,9 Mediocre
Cons: Very expensive for those facilities offered there. Not nice beach in Otranto, you have to travel somewhere else. No transport around.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is good as it is just 120 meters from the train station in Otranto, which suits me . It's a 10 min walk into the centre of the town and about 15 mins to the castle and old town. Big room and the whole property inside and out is very clean. The owner I'd friendly and speaks good English. There is a super market close by as well I will stay there again next time I am in Otranto
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bed, pillows and bathroom were excellent. The decor was delightfully quirky. It was only a short walk down the hill to the promenade and then onto the old town with the restaurants. On Sunday the resort was lively with families and lots of restaurants were open, more at lunchtime than in the evening. All offered a lot of seafood and some offered meat as well. Like the cities, some restaurants had gluten free pasta. The gelataria were very good and we chose to have breakfast at Martinucci’s on the front; they had excellent coffee, croissants and leaf green tea. The traffic was light at the nearby roundabout and very quiet at night, but this was early in the season. If it had been warm enough, hopefully there would have been chairs available for the balcony. There were 2 adapters to convert the normal continental 2 pin plugs to the 3 pin plugs used in Southern Italy.
Cons: There was no tea/coffee making equipment in the room and the room was laid out with the bathroom blocking any view from the room to the balcony and beyond. As it was early in the season, only a handful of restaurants were open during the week.
7,9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good, so nice and sweet fruits. Very nice and friendly owner with his beautiful dog Teo. Not far from the city centre.
Cons: We were 5 people, so we expected at least 2 separate rooms, however we had to stay in one room.
7,1 Good
Pros: Good location and easy to find. Spacious bedroom.
Cons: There were barking dogs belonging to the hotel.
9,6 Excellent
