Overview

Atop a shopping centre in central Mulheim, the Best Western Hotel Im Forum Muelheim, Mulheim, Germany, is a modern hotel above the shops and restaurants of the Forum, close to the station yet quiet, with stylish rooms, individually controlled air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and some rooms in an urban-penthouse style with dressing rooms. Right below lie the shops and the station, with the Ruhr river close by and Essen, Oberhausen and Dusseldorf within easy reach. Public transport runs from the door. Mulheim an der Ruhr is one of the greenest cities in the industrial Ruhr, set on the winding Ruhr river amid parks and wooded slopes. Pleasure boats and a historic water-powered station line the river, the MuGa park spreads its gardens and sculpture across the banks, and the cultural venues and shopping of the wider Ruhr lie minutes away. Cycle paths thread out along the river through the green valley.
