10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect from the food and drinks (great quality and reasonable prices), the staff (always available for any request), the amenities (pool, kayak, boogie board, Bluetooth speaker, library, A/C in rooms, etc), the location on the beach (very few rocks), and the cleanliness of the entire hotel.
Cons: We did have a few mosquitos that found their way into the room or annoyed us while enjoying a drink outside at night, so advise bringing bug repellent
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing hotel. We had high expectations and these exceeded them, probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are comfy and decorated beautifully. The view from the hotel is amazing, one afternoon there were over five humpback whales playing in the water in front of the hotel - incredible! The breakfast was delicious and you can have it whenever you like - even at 11:30am after a early morning tour. They bring round frozen flannels and delicious complimentary appetisers throughout the day, and a brownie before bed. They provide you with a walkie talkie that you can use to contact staff 24/7. The restaurant is delicious, up there with the best meals in the whole of Peru for a fantastic price. Exceptional.
Cons: We loved everything, but it could be improved by bottles of cold water being provide throughout the day (you get one a day at the moment). Sometimes we didn’t receive our coffee and tea until we’d finished eating our breakfast.

Pros: Very nice staff all around.
Cons: Leaving :(
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about DCO is spectacular. Its an exclusive and unique boutique hotel, really well taken care of by its owner who is present everyday making sure all is the way it should be. The staff is really nice and attentive to your every need. Location is superb. A place to truly relax by seaside. Food is worthy of a Michelin Star restaurant- something we did not expect and were amazed with. We would go back just for the place, the food or the staff- let alone everything together!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing stay at DCO. Staff were so friendly and helpful and put themselves out to help us. Mainly I was so impressed that when the hotel found out it was my girlfriends birthday they made the extra effort to make it special and it was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Without a doubt, one of the best and nicest hotel experiences i have ever had. Very attentive and friendly staff. Lots of small details to make you enjoy your stay. Very few rooms vs lots of staff. Incredible food in the restaurant. Basically private beach with plenty of seating areas and amentities. Super clean beach. Sound of the ocean. Nice pool. I wish i didnt have to leave!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, we loved how the staff was always taking care of every little detail. Room was huge and we had a lot of privacy. Massages were really good. We are definitely coming back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really fantastic stay on the beach close to Mancora. Beach is fantastic with nearly no rocks in the water. (North of the hotel you see rocks comming out on low tide.) Hotel is small and very nice - they have nice sunbeds on the beach. Most other hotels in the area did not have a comparable nice access to the beach. So perfect beach hotel! Everybody of the team is very nice and helpfull to make it a perfect stay.

Pros: Lovely staff and good breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, good location to the beach, trendy interior
Cons: None
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing and comfortable! Close to the beach, and the staff were so helpful and lovely. Let us check in early after our night bus and sleep on the hammocks while we waited for our room.
7,5 Good
Pros: If you’re not looking to party and don’t mind a bit of a walk to the main surf break or town then this place is really lovely. It’s quiet, chilled and the rooms are spacious. Staff and volunteers all lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful, they we’re chatty but not intrusive. Laundry service really good and quick, and nothing lost (a bonus given everywhere else we’ve used in South America seemed to lose something). Thanks for a lovely stay :)
Cons: The shower gave you a bit of an electric shock when you turned the hot water on, but we were assured this was normal and happened in all the rooms.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Super helpful and friendly staff - we took the option of using the facilities of the place until 11pm for $5 each. Had access to lovely garden grounds, wifi, kitchen and bathroom with shower all day. Staff booked us a taxi to get to bus stop and came to get us when it arrived (even though it was so late). Great breakfast. Overall a lovely little oasis that didn’t really miss not having beach views!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Crew is amazing friendly. Everything is clean. The relaxing atmosphere. Kitchen for use. Extended my stay twice and spend one month in Mancora for Kitesurfing, diving and enjoying live.
Cons: Can‘t think of anything right now.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely loved the hotel grounds. Beautiful, well maintained with a fair few spots to sit around and read. You can buy beer and water for reasonable price at the hotel which was a plus. You don't get to see the sea but you can hear it and it's so relaxing. Also felt very secure as there was a locked gate to the property. It's a 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of the town which is not a problem, however there are a lot of barking dogs around which I found a bit scary (obvs not the hotel's fault but worth noting). 5 mins walk to the beach around the corner. My room was tidy, I was in the bamboo hut with a private bathroom. The bed was good but I wish they gave you an actual duvet rather than blankets. Shower had hot water and good pressure at all times which was great. Overall, would recommend for a stay in Máncora.
Cons: Breakfast was lacking. The eggs were perfect and it was nice to have coffee and hot chocolate, but the bread was awful prepackaged kind. It would be nice to also have some fruit or granola to add variety. Also, I was in the room right next to the kitchen and while it didn't bother me a whole lot, there were people at all times and you could hear talking for most of the day and the smell got into the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so caring and amazing. I got stung by a stingray on the beach and they took care of me as best as they could! Great hotel, extremely clean and very quiet! I would def reccomend! I think the best in mancora!
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden to relax in with multiple seating areas & afew minutes walk to playa amor. Set a short walk from the busier side of town so you can’t hear the noise from the daily activities in town but instead can hear the waves on the beach. Extremely accommodating when I arrived in the early hours of the morning off a night bus
Cons: Note if you’re a very light sleeper that any noise from the rooms (or neighboring properties) next door does travel easily given the light construction & the wind carrying sound but this would never deter me from staying here again
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful, peaceful place away from the main strip in Mancora but still a very short walk to the beach. The Russian owners are simply fantastic and went above and beyond. Great hospitality. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed had a mosquito net too. The gardens were also very tranquil and perfect to do some reading or simply relaxing.
Cons: The shower seemed to have only two options: cold and hot. No in between?

Pros: Room was big, stylish, comfy, cleaned daily,... Pool area Staff very friendly!
Cons: WiFi signal wasn’t steady
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The add value is definitely the hot water. Near the beach. Nice swim pool. Nice room. Ambiance is relax
Cons: Price Value was as expected, not above expectation. One night was noisy due to a dog barking during hours.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a very nice garden with a pool where you can relax. Also the room was very nice and comfortable and we could even eat our breakfast on the balcony.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Really chilled out and made to feel very welcome. The environment is peaceful and rustic. The staff are so helpful. Even though there were other guests if felt like we had the place to ourselves. The breakfast fresh and tasty with plenty of great coffee. The room was huge - a double bed and 2 singles so perfect for a family of 4. The location was perfect for us. Close enough to the beach but in a quiet corner of Mancora. So great that we are going back in September.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant and clean room.
Cons: A slightly intimidating dog barking constantly, drinking from the pool and sharing sun loungers with guests is not ideal. Given how many guests have mentioned this I'm suprised the owners havent done anything to stop this.
7,1 Good
Pros: The room and the hostel are nice and relaxing in a quiet area, close to the beach and restaurants.
Cons: The swimming pool was dirty, we couldn't use it. The breakfast was ok, but could have been a bit more varied for the price we paid (there was peanut butter for a couple of days and when it finished, it wasn't replaced).
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. Great coffee. The yard was gardened beautifully
Cons: The pool was not working. I think the pump wasn’t working. It was very scummy. Although others went in. It didn’t look clean or safe to me
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Beautiful quiet hotel close to the town, clean spacious rooms with a hot shower and it’s run by lovely family. All the staff go above and beyond and I really love the dogs. The breakfast is yummy and there is a lovely pool area. Stay here!
Cons: Nothing it’s perfect!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful chilled place with great rooms and a nice pool area to chill out. The beach is a two minute walk and The breakfast was really nice. The family is very welcoming and friendly and they have a beautiful dog
Cons: Despite the cost of the room which was worth it they charged an extra two dollars extra for eggs with breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. It’s super clean, the beds are amazing, the staff is super and they are helping with everything and the breakfast is amazing! The location is great as well, just 2 minutes from the first bars and restaurants and it is a really great place to relax. I would recommend this place to everybody.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: I really like that place. So nice, cozy, chiled. The hosts are really lovely (i haven't used that word before to describe staff), helpful and friendly. The whole atmosphere is just so relaxing. The other (mainly international) guests were also very nice and you get in contact with everybody quite easy if you want. The rooms are special, we had a big bed, a nice rain shower, big windows, a lot of light and the little yard outside with the pool. Luxurious from my point of view. Máncora itself is a small village, a lot of people, mixed of locals, tourists and travellers, you can find a lot of (good) restaurants and of course the beach (which i didn't like that much). I really enjoyed to go out a little into the town, the eco lodge is 5 minutes away by foot from the main road (Panamericana). If i had enough (as i said, a lot of people) i just headed back into this tiny little oasis :) If i could, i would come back. Totally recommend this place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were incredibly welcoming and had great recommendations for us throughout our trip. Homemade breakfast and coffee each morning was really wonderful, and the location couldn't be better. Secure, very close to the beach, but quiet and peaceful (hard to find in Máncora!) I'd come back here in a heartbeat.
Cons: WiFi is spotty, but if you have data on your phone that tends to work well.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great spot in Mancora. A bit off the ‘main strip’, and thus very quiet, and the beach (and a great restaurant) are just around the corner. The (current) owners, a French couple, are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was more than great (croissant!). Highly recommended.
Cons: The wifi isn’t the best, but that helps you with relaxing :-)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, Facilities, Check in, Location, Rooms were great, nice breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderfully designed hotel. A serene, calming vibe that really lets you sleep well at night. Located walking distance to all you need. The staff were terrific and the breakfast was delicious.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay at Ecolodge. The breakfast was really so delicious!! And the Ecolodge is beautifully designed. It felt very zen.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing and had all the things I needed. The breakfast was delicious and staff at the lodge were very helpful with recommendations. I felt very relaxed whilst staying at the eco lodge.
Cons: Was a few minutes walk from the Main Street so I would consider a little dangerous at night walking back to the property alone.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The whole house is full of love in details. The hosts Christelle&Hugo have such a positive energy and they are sooo lovely and helpful in every situation. We recommend to stay at Eco Lodge if you like to live at a beautiful & quiet place, nearby the beach and also the main road with unbelievable nice hosts!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We are happy that we have visited this wonderful place. Very cosy and nice room, comfortable bed and linens. There is all you need for relaxing. The breaksfast was always fresh and tasty. We really like the concept of Eco Lodge. The location is super convinient. Milo, Christelle & Hugo are great family and people, very good vibe. They are nice, modest and helpful hosts. We wish to come back to Eco Lodge and see you.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the Eco Lodge for 5 days as part of a longer trip through South America. Our stay was fantastic. The rooms are large and comfortable, and an amazing breakfast was provided on each day. Christelle and Hugo were fantastic hosts throughout the duration. They organised for a special birthday for my partner and were always at hand to help out with anything we required. There is easy access to the centre of Mancora and the Beach, and recommendations for the best restaurants should be well trusted as these never let us down! Highly recommended and would love to come back
Cons: Only slight issue was spotty WiFi but Christelle and Hugo worked tirelessly to fix whenever it dropped out

Pros: We loved everything !! Amazing place to stay in Mancora.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and clean rooms, a very good location right at the beach and the surf spot, beautiful terrace where you could hang out and relax, good and affordable cocktails during happy hour.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a little more (even though it was good!), a little noisy at night (thats probably the price you pay for the location) ans compared to our previous stays in Peru not a very warm welcoming atmosphere with regards to staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I reserved the room for my mom and grandma, my grandma is 79 yo and I was afraid she wasn't gonna fell comfortable. She said that was the most amazing experience she ever had, the room, the view, the staff, the place, the beach, the location. I asked the staff to organize for me some flowers and a birthday card for my mom, she was very happy and she is coming back with the whole family. I'm in miami now and I'm definitely going with some friends next year.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I love the view from our room. The food was delicious and the location very convenient. I’ll definitely go back: )

A renovated Beach Oasis with sophisticated design and comfortable facilities. Located in playa Pocitas 2 hours and half away from Piura airport and a 1 hour and a half from Tumbes airport. It has 22 suites, pool and luxurious facilities. A gastronomic offer sophisticated and conservative that makes it the new and best alternative of Northern Peru.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Honestly one of my favourite hotels in the world and I have travelled a lot. We come here a few times a year and I never get tired of the view and the hotel itself. This time we came for a mini honeymoon and they went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The staff are so attentive and friendly they are a key element in ensuring you have a great stay. The rooms are so comfortable. It's a little slice of paradise.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Food a bit limited ,we stayed for a week and the menu never changed but overall fine ,excellent location on the beach ,nice pool ,lovely room with view over the sea .
Cons: Same menu for a week, mixed service depending on the day ,service level seemed to reduce as the week went on
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool and the scenery.
Cons: The transportation from the property to the airport and to the town is inconvenient. The dishes are usually inadequate and too salty.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The place, the service, the staff, the food, the breakfast...everything was superb. We really enjoyed our stayed there. We spent a week in room #1, a beautiful ocean front room with amazing sunsets.
Cons: Two things I did not like: The massage (expensive and with a person with very little experience), and the trips to Mancora, which take around 20' each way, and while the town of Mancora is not really inviting, it gives some food alternatives to eating everyday at the hotel (where the food is amazing, but it is nice to have options).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The views from my room were spectacular!
Cons: The facilities and room views
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation was superb. Good and variety of choices at restaurant; buffet breakfast included in rate. The best was the kindness of personnel in charge of service: chamber personnel, restaurant personnel and administrative personnel. Guests are treated really well!!
Cons: Everything was neat and nice; well supervised!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything exceeded my expectation! The staff was amazing, the hotel was in perfect shape, the beach was always gorgeous and the location was great.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff members. Especially Jorge Chininin in the restaurant was always very forthcoming and helpful. He always anticipated our needs and made us feel like we are staying in a 5-star hotel. The service was the best we have experienced in Peru!
Cons: The breakfast buffet was rather a bit small with very little selection. The omelets and eggs that can be ordered are quite good though.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Love the pool, facilities, restaurant, staff, cocktails, beach. Absolutely stunning.
Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and their two beds in a double room are smaller than a twin size bed and extremely uncomfortable. Walls in the room had hand marks and furniture looked a bit old and outdated.
7,9 Good
Pros: The pool and rooms are pretty nice. It is pretty clean and the beach close by is amazing.
Cons: The breakfast is poor should have more options. I don’t like the fact that in the invoice appears a fee for the pool. This should be incluided in the room rate. The personal is really nice but sometimes they take a bit to long to attent

The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really great and helpful and let me stay in my room longer until I had my airport pick up. They were helpful in organizing my massage and were nice and friendly.
Cons: I chose Kimba's as it was recommended by friends and off the main road a little bit. It was generally quiet apart from the loud doorbell letting people in at all hour of the night. Unfortunately the large group of loud drunk people made sleep a little difficult, which I was hoping to avoid being that little bit further away from the main area.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and everyone (from cleaning to staff) was really kind and nice!
Cons: You can hear everything and there is a lot off noise from outside (other guests coming home from going out, cars on the street behind the bungalows et cetera) so don't expect a very good night rest
9,6 Excellent
Pros: -Looks really exotic -5 min from city center but in the same time in quiet area - bungalows looks really amazing - cleaning service every day on really high level - breakfasf more than enough;) - object is close from all of the sides we felt save - in swimming pool area is no wifi;) but is good is time for rest or for book
Cons: - staff really friendly but didn’t speak English - only small drinks to buy , food only from delivery during a day -

Pros: Breakfast was good, few different choices every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location, close to everything but away from the main street and its noise.
9,2 Excellent

Cons: check in times are usually after midday. having to wait several hours to get a room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accommodating let us check in early and lounge by the pool the day we checked out, breakfast was fantastic as well and the rooms very comfortable and had hot water in the showers
Cons: Quite a few mosquitos in the room was a slight issue , but the rooms were lovely and clean

Pros: pool rooms the people
Cons: nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing stay at Kimbas. The rooms are spacious and have a private terrace or balcony. We loved the daily changing breakfast, friendly staff and the lovely pool area, that we had to ourselves most of the time. The location of the hotel is amazing: it is quiet, but the beach, restaurants and cafes are just a few hundred meters away. Simply perfect. We actually enjoyed our stay so much, that we added a few more nights in this small oasis. Thank you Kimbas Team, for a wonderful stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Kimbas is a beautiful place to stay. It is a bit further back from the main strip but that suited us perfectly as it was incredibly relaxing and not surrounded by loud party noises. The room was so cosy and comfortable. We even booked a yoga session through the owner and did it on the amazing pool deck. Such a brilliant stay. One of our favourite places we have stayed in 3 months travelling!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, right on the beach and from the balcony you can see the ocean. Room is great, as great as in the pictures, we had the suite and were very happy with it. There was one person speaking English at the property, he was very helpful with arranging shuttle and supporting us with any questions we had. Also he was welcoming us in the first night even though we arrived very late. Food and especially pizza was great, we also enjoyed having drinks in the minibar.
Cons: The staff was not speaking English, except of one person. It was smelling like sulphur every now and then and seemed to come from the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning unspoiled views, quiet beaches, spacious and creatively designed rooms, impeccably maintained hotel grounds/pool/restaurant and five star welcoming vibe. Expect a warm welcome from Pedro and the entire staff. Can’t compliment this place enough. The most relaxed I’ve felt in years. Highly recommend the beachside suite. Worth every penny and then some. Hope to come back here one day!!!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: very friendly and helpfull staff, very spacious room (4p), great seaview, spacious balcony, nice breakfast
Cons: the rooms are a bit outdated, especially the bathroom. Found a big cockroach under our son's bed on our last evening. Restaurant of the hotel is quite expensive compared to the quality and taste of the food.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location, the staff friendly and willing to help you in many different ways.
Cons: The mattress, the box springs is actually a concrete frame, the mattresses are placed on top of this base. For me was very hard and I get up with back pain every morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Attention and service from staff exceeded all expectations- very friendly and attentive. I ate at a restaurant in Mancura and got food poisoning, and hotel staff went above and beyond to take care of me while I was out of commission for a couple days. Meals at the hotel restaurant were delicious (recommend the ceviche and arroz con mariscos for lunch, dinner atun tartare and pastas are great but keep in mind they are al dente as its done according to Italian style).
Cons: ´Nothing negative really comes to mind here.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Beach front view
10,0 Excellent
Pros: tastefully decorated and great sea views
Cons: rocky beach in front of hotel was only downside
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Bed was really confortable, very clean room. In front of the beach, perfect for swimming in the ocean.
Cons: Would have been good to be able to fit 2-4 more sun bed under the shade.
5,0 Okay
Pros: We didn’t like much about our experience at all.
Cons: The breakfast is awful. Providing powdered coffee for a hotel at this price is a joke. The handling of a power outage in which they refused to turn generators on for 3 hours in the morning leaving all guests unable to shower, use a toilet, or have any comfort. This lasted over 24 hours and they tried to cut the generators 3 times and I had to argue with the front desk each time. Secondly, the generators only powered water pumps and a few lights, the rooms were basically unusable and we had to be moved because we were right next to the loud generator. The other hotels on the beach had generators large enough to power all the lights, not just the few in the walk way. The place was uninhabitable for 1/3 our stay, but they kept telling us 1 hr. I’m about to check out now, the only way they can redeem themselves is by offering a refund for the missierable and poorly handled night. One of the worst experiences at any hotel ever.
7,9 Good
Pros: Good location in Las Pocitas area.
Cons: Not enough space to place clothes and bags.

Pros: When I comment that the bedroom we got was not the same as we expect from the pictures. The staff was very kind and offered a bigger room with the sea view we booked. So it was nice and the shower was good with a nice balcony. The food was very good. Everybody very nice and kind.
Cons: I didn't like that in the begining we got a room with little space. The water in the shower was weak in that bedroom. Also little variety in the breakfast. The same every day. Give a little maintenance to the reclinable beds in front of the beach.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing beach-hotel. Nice staff and great food. Is like a paradise. I will come back!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel offers great food, a very comfortable setting and a splendid location.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room is amazing, the bed is comfortable, the spot at the beach is great - far from the crowd but a good walk by the sea will take you there in 15m.
Cons: The room is to bright once the sun is up.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was fantastic from the people that work there to the location to the rooms and restaurant food. The view was spectacular. The property has been in business for a long time, but the bungalows are not outdated. Relaxed atmosphere. Our room # 7 was overlooking the ocean in the top floor and we slept with the doors open to hear the ocean. It was magic. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was plenty. Warm bread, coffee/tea/milk, yogurt, eggs, fruit juice (papaya and pineapple), cereal. Buffet style. We ate ceviche and lomo saltado for lunch. A little pricey but not too pricey. good quality and taste so overall it was worth it. No fridge in the room but they sell beers, wine, sodas & ice cream at a fair price. They also have a garage to park your rental car overnight.
Cons: Everything was perfect. Thank you Vanessa and Paloma for helping us with front desk related questions/issues/needs. Thank you Lushio & Tito for all your help too.

Pros: The room was nice, with a pretty view. The beds comfortable and clean. The beach area great. The relation value vs money is good.
Cons: The attention at dinner wasn’t good and the food neither. The grilled fish was greasy, the French fries cold and when I told them they just took them back to the kitchen and heated in the microwave......
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owner and the staff were very friendly and professional. They effectively and efficiently addressed all our requests always with a smile. They can offer a family and cauzy environment that makes you feel relax. The location is excellent. Prestine natural beauty and among the more secured neighbourhoods of mancora.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly. It was very important as I have travelled alone.
Cons: Sometimes the wi-fi signal was not very good.

Pros: Food was amazing, the bar and restaurant staff were excellent. We really enjoyed our time here, we wished it could have been longer!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: it’s right at the beach. great pool and sun beds. decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. in the seaside rooms you’ll hear the sea all night.
Cons: the rooms that are not on the beach side are smaller, more crammed and pick up noise from the streets. it’s fairly expensive yet staff speak no english and don’t seem to be too well trained in hospitality and costumer service.
7,5 Good
Pros: The pool was perfect for our kids and the bungalow was spacious and clean. The food and drink at the restaurant were excellent.
Cons: The wi-Fi was terrible, whilst it was right on the beach that stretch of beach was rocky, dirty (dead fish) too close to the fisherman and pier) and the beach 10 minutes walk in either direction was far superior. The front desk lady was super rude. The pool didn’t open until around 9:30am which was ridiculous for kids.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The sun beds on the two different pools were good. Sunshades were definitely missing, there are just some for the tables but non for the sun beds. Nice area, it’s just a 5 minute drive to Mancora Pueblo.
Cons: The breakfast was really super poor for a hotel with this price range. Just some rolls and butter. Eggs could be ordered, very tiny portion. There were no fresh fruits, no cheese, no sausage, nothing. Don’t book a massage, it was the worst one I ever had - felt more like stroking. The view from the room was really nice, but the room was in bad condition. Old, partly not clean, hair on the bed. The waiters were very nice and helpful, the lady on the reception was the complete opposite: sulky and absolutely not obliging. The food which can be ordered in the hotel’s restaurant was also over priced (drinks as well) and did not taste too good.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location close to the sea...in the night you can hear the sound of the waves. Perfect hotel for relaxing.
Cons: Late check-out is very very expensive..25 dollar for 3 hours extra. You stay Longer than 4 hours extra, you pay for a all day !!! .also the restaurant is expensive
5,8 Okay
Pros: The facility is clean.
Cons: They don't follow the law. Added an extra 18% charge to the room to non-Peruvian tourists coming from the USA. The Peruvian law is very clear about exemptions of the 18% to tourists. No other hotel charged us the 18%.

Pros: We love the beachfront atmosphere with amazing views especially during the sunset, very friendly staff, they offer free breakfast and all the food was delicious, quiet and peaceful place, great place to get away and relax.
Cons: Televisions in rooms were small
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in Las Pocitas, right in front of this beautiful and quite beach, but close enough to Mancora's town, where one can find restaurants, bars, stores and a local market. Food at Puerto Palos was pretty good, and it was great that we didn't have to look for a restaurant each and missing part of the day at the beach. Finally, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, made us feel at home.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Service and pool.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is 10min away from mancora town but it was easy to get into the city by tuk tuk ( 5 -6 sol to town) . The host lady, Yessica, was friendly and nice. She allowed us to check in early when we reach at 5.30 in the morning. My friends and I had a wonderful stay in the hotel. There beach is right by the hotel. There was also a massage lady at the beach who provide 30 min massage for 30 sol or 20sol ( i cant rmb the exact price), but it was great and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again. We had breakfast and lunch in the hotel. Definitely order fish/ seafood dishes because they are very fresh.
Cons: Nothing that i dislike to be honest. The only thing would be the price of the taxi from town to the hotel in the morning when we first got to mancora, is 20sol which is kinda pricey. However, Yessica told us because it was a car so would be more expensive. However, the driver is really kind, my friend lost her slippers and the driver found it in his car boot and return to us.

Pros: The view was amazing, the staff was really nice. I definitely enjoyed my stay there.
Cons: The hot water In the room ran out quickly.
6,7 Good
Pros: Staff really helpful. Emptied the garage so we could park our car inside . Right on the beach. Comfortable bed
Cons: Basic breakfast of eggs, bread, juice and coffee. No menu.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Good location.
Cons: This hotel is nothing like advertised! STAY AWAY! It is an absolute shambles and is misrepresented in all aspects of the advertisement and scores on booking.com. The staff are friendly but totally unprofessional and clueless. We were locked out for over a half an hour one night as the night porter was “asleep”. The breakfast had no menu and no selection other than scrambled eggs, coffee and juice! An absolute disaster and definitely not worth the money - it felt more like a hostel than an 4 star rated hotel!
5,4 Okay
Pros: I liked that it was near good restaurants and that it had a small boutique feel to the hotel. Good value for money and clean.
Cons: The stairs to the good rooms are four flights. The hotel staff can't do anything on their own - the bartender has to go to the reception to make change for a drink. The hotel's beach area is quite small and limited number of beach chairs and umbrellas for all the guests.
7,1 Good
Cons: The young man working on reception came across rude and unhelpful when disputing an issue. A lack of customer service skills and professionalism. Also the hotel doesn’t feel like a 4* stay. Needs refurbishment and more facilities and services.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was great, if you like to be in the centre of the party,
Cons: The walls were very thin I could hear the party going until 330 in the morning in town. Very loud bass.

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. Upgraded our room for free.
Cons: Nearby clubs kept us up most the evening with loud music. Not a relaxing stay. Facilities are a bit old and in need of maintenence.
7,9 Good
Pros: Food is awesome, people that work at the hotel is very very nice
Cons: It’s not so clean
6,7 Good
Pros: The staff was far and away the best part of our stay. Lady hosted us with a smile from the moment we stepped out of our cab and always went out of her way to make sure we were happy. We also thought the location was great. Samana Chakra is locates right on the beach and is a short 10 min walk to the main area of town.
Cons: The room was dirty and ridden with bugs. The bed linens and towels were stained and had long dark hair on them when we arrived. We understand with the bungalow being so close to the beach that rust is an issue, but they could and should replace linens more frequently with the nightly rate they charge. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! The pillows were lumpy and had almost no stuffing inside of them. The mattress itself had no support. I think my back would’ve been happier sleeping on the dirty hardwood floor.

Pros: Location is good in that it is close to the beach, yet far enough away from the loud party district that you are able to sleep (with the exception of the one night). WiFi was good. There is a certain tranquility to the lodge that makes it appealing.
Cons: The hut I stayed in lacked security as there was no proper lock on the front door or any of the windows. We asked for a lock to be installed on the large front window and it was addressed quickly. I was traveling with kite gear so security was on top of mind. It was much more rustic than anticipated in that the hut was made entirely out of bamboo therefore featured gaps throughout the structure. The free access for mosquitoes is addressed with mosquito coils and sleep nets. One of three nights there was loud music next door until 3am. Although visa is advertised on the website, entrance gate, and bookings.com the staff pleads with you to pay cash in order to avoid transaction fees. Hot water was limited.
5,8 Okay
Pros: When we woke up the next day, it did seem like a nice area & another woman (the owner, I think) gave us the WiFi password & tried to find us a 3-prong converter which turned out to belong to the girl from the night before. The garden is nicely put together & was relaxing to chill out in. If I was to hazard a guess, the place is run by someone who would just rather people pay for her own rent of the property & to not actually have to do any work ever. Do yourself a favour & don't cheap out. Save that extra bit of money & stay in a place that you know will have better standards.
Cons: We arrived late from a bus from Guayaquil, Ecuador & when we arrived, some girl let us in but didn't feel happy to (not sure if she worked there, lived there or was just a guest). We had already prepaid for the room. She just gave us the key to the closest room there & went off. We didn't have internet to check if it was the right one & the password in the room was wrong, also the power outlets only had 2-prong America (no 3-prong America) so we couldn't charge our phones either. When we went to find the girl again (2 minutes after she let us into the room), we couldn't, there was no lights on anywhere & we didn't want to knock on random doors. The mosquito net didn't cover the whole bed & was uncomfortable to use. The room light was very dim. So I went to sleep feeling that I had paid a lot of money for a subpar place. The area seemed too creepily quiet, didn't seem like it was run very well. No room cleaning or extra towels given the next day. While the presence of animals was nice, the dogs did bark a lot. The shower on the second morning had no hot water.

Pros: Beautiful quiet place, peaceful, lovely staff, lovely room! Close to the beach, and also to the Main Street full of restaurant. Perfect atmosphere if you are looking to relax!! Thanks God it's far away from the party places!!!

Pros: Really nice and quiet place close to the beach. The personnel, namely Rosie, is a very sweet and helpful person. I would definiately stay again.
Cons: The kitchen

Pros: Really nice place direkt to the beach. Nice rooms and lovley stuff there.
Cons: It was not so clean in the shower.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice worker Martin was very helpful and pleasant.
Cons: They claimed hot water but there really wasn't more than a few drops in the shower. I gave up and took cold showers. Also Martin did not really speak english. The owner spoke some english but she wasn't always staying on location.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice and rustic, everything you need to relax yourself in Mancora.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location was great. Vibe was great. Staff were helpful.
Cons: The lighting in the room was bad. Breakfast was a bit expensive.
6,3 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the lodge overall had nice decorations with natural materials like bamboo.
Cons: Horrible service. We arrived at 6am (which was specified in the reservation) after a 10 hour night bus. It was still dark and when the lady opened the door she initially didn’t want to let us in yet. We didn’t expect a room to be ready at this hour as check-in is always later, but usually you can wait in the lobby or something. After we insisted that we could not stay on the streets for hours in the dark with our luggage she finally let us wait on a small couch near the entrance. When there was actually a bigger area by the pool with hammocks and sun beds where we could have rested for a bit, but we couldn’t see that before as it was dark and she told us this couch was the only place we could wait. When the sun came up and she started cleaning outside and asked about our reservation. Turned out our room was ready all along, after waiting for almost 3 hours. She told us breakfast would be between 8.30 am and 10am. We got up early the next day because we were going to the next town, and had to wait from 8.30 to 9am because there was nobody to make our breakfast. The place itself was fine but the service is terrible, she was very rude and not hospitable at all. I’m a very flexible and relaxed traveller, but this was not ok. Would not recommend staying here.
