Breakfast brilliant and friendly staff.
Stuffy room in the basement. Noisy as under reception. Noisy inconsiderate male quests late at night disturbed my sleep. When I told them to be quiet they swore. I felt unsafe.
The breakfast ladies and the breakfast was really good freshly made. Hygienic dining room and our room was adequately clean.
The receptionists are the rudest we have come across. We were meant to stay at the hotel at number 47 but on arrival we’re told our booking was actually 101, which we had had no notification of. This upset us as we are in a new country and this could be unsafe. If you have multiple hotels up the street that’s fine but you need to have more notification as to where you are staying as we would have arrived from a closer tube station. When we expressed our frustration upon check in at our actual hotel we were rudely cut off and ignored. The room was less to be desired. Not as great as the pictures suggested. 3 people crammed into a room that was small by London standards. Very busy loud street. No aircon just a small fan that did nothing so had to have the windows open. Is a bypass for ambulances so not much sleep had as they screamed past every 10min. Cheap uncomfortable beds, no extra pillows, cracked basin, hot stuffy small bathroom. Majority of our showers were uncomfortably cold as the temperature control was terrible. One minute freezing then next minute was scorching hot! Would have talked to reception about all of these issues but given their rudeness upon arrival chose not to risk having to experience this again. They also only provided one key card for our group of 3. We needed this to gain access to the building and room and to get into the other door where breakfast was served. Again we may have been able to get another but didn’t want to talk to the rude receptionists. Definitely don’t recommend!
Didn't have time for breakfast as it started too late 7.30 Bathroom v cramped.
Comfy bed, where the hotel was located
