Good location, newly refurbished
Location, newly refurbished, easy to access transport lo ks
No proper hot water in showers
Convenient location, large comfortable room
The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient.
The stairway to the room was narrow. There was a lot of outside noise so the windows would have benefitted from double glazing.
Friendly and responsive staff. The room was quite large and highly functional design. The room interior was modern and tasteful.
Bathroom fixtures and plumbing is very rundown and outdated. Pillows were very uncomfortable. The breakfast room décor, cutlery and crockery is not in star rating.
A bit expensive for such a basic room but I suppose the cost was for the location. The staff were pleasant and helpful though.
I was able to park outside f.o.c. and it was in easy walking distance of the Albert Hall where we were going for a concert
Would of liked an English breakfast
Helpful staff, who had to deal with numerous complaints about the rooms. Location.
Room small, no waffle bathrobes on arrival, no oversized cushions, no mini cooler essentials (unless you count small bottle of water), no fluffy towels, very small TV, small room (and we paid extra for a larger room), broken windows, terrible view.
I only stayed one night so this is hard to comment. I liked how the hotel was modern, the reception and bar area were newly decorated and seemed very clean. Although the seating in the bar and lounge area could have been better.
The staff were not very welcoming as we arrived. They seemed quite miserable to be honest!!The room was very small and was definately not worth the price that we paid. We also had a large crack in our window, so you could feel a draft in the room. It was very noisy outside as the windows were so thin, and the view from our room was not nice. We also noticed that the restaurant in the hotel was closed in the evening, and there was noone to be seen to assist us.
The speed and efficiency of service
The sash window had counterbalance weights which prevented the window being other than either fully open (dangerous) or fully closed claustrophobic. Storage for shirts, underwear, socks was non existant.
general ambiance, lack of fussy bits and minibar, cleanliness and good shower - supposedly small room but perfect for 1 night.
horrible, uncomfortable foam pillows
