Great continental breakfast with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Superb indoor and outdoor pools and spa facilities.
Certain aspects of the hotel a little dated for those looking to find faults but it didn’t reduce my enjoyment at all.
Breakfast was fine, the baths are as always lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful as always. the location is magnificent.
The place was severely understaffed. As a result check-in took too long, breakfast nit as good as before, and in the evening when we needed an extra pillow we were told that was impossible because there were no housekeeping staff. The place has partly been redecorated but much of it is terribly in need of refurbishment.
Hotel location and swimming pool facilities are very good. But parking is a hassle as its far from the hotel. Staff are ok and its family and pet friendly. Rooms are horrible! They are OLD, small and are dying for an urgent refurbishment!
rooms are horrible! they are small and old, begging for an urgent refurbishment! the hotel has potential but do not be fooled by its pictures
Hotel (and its rooms) is charming, but old and should be renovated. Same applies to all facilities such as sauna/spa, breakfast area etc. However, its good value for the price, also the pool area is quite big with different pools (also outside and a "grotto" at 39 degrees). Regarding the spa area (it does have sauna, steam room etc): its family like, meaning small kids might run around, no one's naked, some do not even use a towel, so dont expect real spa spirit. However, for 30 bucks you can go 5 hours to the Valais Spa Area of the large building opposite (direct connect underground), and that one is really good.
The hotel should be renovated at some point.
The location (it’s right at the village square and on the street to the lift) The breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh fruits, breads, yoghurts etc. The fact that you can take a tunnel to the wellness facilities. The sauna was probably the nicest I’ve been to so far. It’s a perfect getaway for people who are searching for the combination of skiing and wellness.
