The view was fantastic, big balcony, very friendly staff, clean
We liked its location, the parking facility (although not free), and especially the quick fullfilment of our room request by the front desk staff.
We booked a room with a balcony and a sea view. The view was beautiful and the room very comfortable. The balcony got the afternoon sun and was protected from the wind, perfect! Although the room overlooked the main walkway it was very quiet. It is extremely easy to get to the beach, just across the walkway, where there are sun beds to rent. We found we could just leave towels on them and go for lunch and come back to them in the afternoon. Breakfast is really good and worth including.
- stuff - balcony with excellent view - overall room - location of the hotel and the room - excellent breakfast which was not included but excellent spread
- We asked for queen size bed but there was 2 separate bed , not ideal for a couple - Washroom kit should include toothpaste and brush by default we had to ask for it - without asking they did not provide towels every day - and the floor was freezing cold, it would be good if they provide sleepers
The best thing was the view. The bathroom had a hairdryer and complementary toiletries. The shower was good, easy to use and always hot water.
No coffee/tea making facilities. No English tea bags at breakfast apart from English tea leaves which floated on top of tea (because of the way you made it). Because our stay was from Thursday to Thursday, when a group of Scottish people came and stopped at the hotel Sunday onward, as of Monday morning, the tea leaves tin was empty and not replace upto and including Thursday breakfast. The beds and towels where changed each day apart from Sunday, when the bare minimum was done to the room. Why? We paid for the facilities Thursday to Thursday. The 'bar' was on the first floor and part of the restaurant, all be it sectioned off after breakfast finished. So IF, anyone was eating, they took priority, so to be served, you had to go and find a waiter and then wait until he was free, before being served. We made friends with a Scottish couple and they where saying, aswell as other Engish speaking people, to get any information about whats available around, trips and other things was virtually impossible. Would we stay here again? Definitely not. Would we recommend? Definitely not.
