Pros: My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Lancaster Arts Hotel! I will definitely be booking there again. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed our food as well as the staff!

Room is on top floor, so getting hot water through the faucets took a very long time and water pressure was not what it should be for this type of accommodation. Only one elevator for 5-story building and extremely slow. Wine cooler in room, but no fridge or microwave.

Pros: The staff was very friendly, and the room was lovely. The hotel itself is located within walking distance of many restaurants, attractions, and shopping boutiques, and there is a dedicated parking lot for hotel guests. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay!

Cons: My only complaint is that some of the appliances in the room were a bit wonky (coffee maker, remote control). However, that was an incredibly minor issue that would be easily fixable.

Pros: We stayed for a few days to check out downtown Lancaster at the end of a work trip. The room was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. The sound insulation was not great, on one side we could hear a guy talking to his wife in the evening on the phone, you could hear the entire conversation word for word through the walls. Thank goodness the guests on both sides kept reasonable hours for noise, and so there weren't any issues but I think we were fortunate to get away with it. I wonder being a 'cork' factory, perhaps you could line a few walls with cork to help with that?

Cons: Poor sound insulation in rooms. Also one of the window in our room couldn't be locked although it was at street level, and our window faced directly to the carpark.

You would think this would be a negative review. But they handled this all very. Very helpfully. The room cleaners helped us into the room and understood our time issues. Everyone in this hotel did their best and I would absolutely stay here again.

Cons: The manager Clair has no idea about costumer service. The toilet was leaking water and clearly broken. There were pieces of the soap holder in the floor. The air filter was disgusting and the air condition unit only got the room to 73 degrees. We asked for extra blankets in our party if 5 and they said that 2 extra was all they were going to give us. I would run away from this place. Stay clear if it.

Pros: The view from the room was awesome, it was a corner room and over looked the town square. My stay was right after Christmas so the lights and huge decorated tree were beautiful!! The room was clean, roomy and the bedding was really comfy and high end. We also took advantage of the indoor pool and gym on the 5th floor instead of the ground floor which was really nice. There's a nice restaurant and lounge but we just ordered room service or venture out but, everything was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for being able to just walk to so many little shops, bars, coffee shops, restaurants and art galleries as well as across the street from Lancaster central market, which is a large indoor farmer's market (the oldest in the country!). The downtown area is really quaint and historical yet still has the urban charm of a small city full of energy.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the fact that there was one light /switch inside the door but that light doesn't light up the room so much as just the "foyer" area. The room lamps on the far end of the room wouldn't turn on/off with the switch. So, having to find the lamps in the dark was a bit awkward. It wasn't a big deal, just odd in our opinion.

Cons: There was a price for everything, I felt nickel and dimed at every turn. When passing the staff in the halls no one said hello. They said that if I used a debit card it would charge me $25 so I used a credit card instead, it still charged my debit card.

Egg beaters or some other type of "dorm" food instead of real eggs. Would have been nice if when I reported the hot water and no maid service the clerk who checked me out had been a bit more concerned, other than she'd report the hot water issue to maintenance.

Cons: We had terrible difficulty trying to open the door to the two rooms we had, 930 and 932. The green light that should grant entrance to the rooms did not work. We had to try numerous times before it would eventually give the green light. So frustrating. I reported the problem to the front desk and was told that maintenance would be notified. The problem was not resolved! Another issue we had was with the breakfast buffet. They should be watchful and not wait until items run out which was my experienced with the eggs and fresh fruit. I had to bring it their attention and then wait a good 20 minutes until they brought in a fresh batch. Other than that, our stay was great, the rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Thank you.

Cons: Mattresses were very hard. Stains on sheets. They had complimentary coffee, with powdered creamer that was so lumpy I could barely get it out of the container. The lobby was locked the first morning when I went for coffee. The owner/manager or whoever he was came out in a t-shirt and what appeared to be long plaid boxer shorts. The owner/manager's residence apparently was behind the room I was in, and I could hear voices, a kid crying, etc. There was an ice bucket, but no drinking glasses, and since the lobby was also locked when I checked in I did not want to go back outside to the lobby to get a drinking glass. I also have what appears to be some bed bug bites. I was there 2 nights...there was no maid service on the day between the nights. Not worth the money.

I informed property owners of the situation and they said they would take a look at the unit, however, it still wasn't working properly and my family and I were left very cold over the weekend. Also had a situation with back-up toilet. If situation were improved, I would consider going back. It was convenient to family members college.

Pros: Coming toward the property, the nearby restaurant smelled enticing. The bed was a fluffy, soft dream to lie in. Once we figured out the little air conditioner looking thing was actually an AC/Heater unit, our generously sized room was toasty and perfect. Staff was friendly, communicative, and helpful.

Cons: The orange juice at the continental breakfast was a bit watery, and it would have been nice to have some more bagel variety than only sweet flavors, but otherwise it was great. Did not receive the extra towels and pillows I'd requested in my booking comments, but I could always have asked for them, so that was probably on me.
