9,4 Excellent (567 reviews)
Overview Reviews

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, friendly, helpful manager, Louisa Marie, her father and Beatrix (who spoke English). Louisa Marie showed us where there was free (our week only) municipal parking nearby, which worked very well. They know everyone in Cazorla, and so were very useful in giving us advice on where to eat and shop. Good sized bedroom, comfortable beds and pillows, and a bathroom that worked very well. Breakfast was quite adequate and included in the very reasonable price. Location super for walks around the town and nearby countryside, plus loads of nice restaurants and bars, tea/coffee house, etc.
Cons: Narrow cul de sac access road a little noisy and makes arriving and departing a bit tricky if you aren't fit, but then this is a mountain town for walkers!

Pros: The staff were really friendly and they even bought oat milk, since we requested some plant based milk. The bed was quite comfy, and the room spacious. I'd definitely choose it again if I had the chance.
Cons: Nothing really. When we arrived there was a lot of noise, and we expected the worst. However, we had a very quiet night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, the breakfast fantastic, and the hostess was wonderful. She provided great information about the town and our planned tour of the park

Pros: location is great - just in the middle of the reservation room was nice , clean ,basic good breakfast and great dinner nice pool and SPA nice staff - didn't speak English at all but tried to help as much as they can
Cons: nice staff - wuld be nice if they spoke a little English
4,0 Okay
Pros: the views from the outside were stunning nestled in a valley with mountains rising up, stunning swimming pool also with great views
Cons: I think we just chose the wrong hotel. Because of the name we thought it was in Cazorla but it was a 40 minute drive away so not a good start. The checkin wasn't great, for a four star hotel nobody spoke English. The room was a classic Spanish dark room which we found oppressive and claustrophobic. The hotel felt stuffy as well so we didn't want to eat there, generally not a good experience for us but as I said, I think we just chose the wrong hotel for us. As asp a hotel I al sure it is very good, we just didn't like it personally.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hydrotherapeutic spa here is incredible and very affordable. I didn't go to the hotel with the intention of using the spa, but it really was worth it. The scenery is also beautiful. I can imagine that in summer it is a fun place to stay, as there are tons of hiking trails and other outdoor activities next to the hotel.
Cons: The bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit spartan, and the staff was not all that friendly.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is completely integrated in the surrounding beautiful pine tree forest. If you’re looking for relax and quietness, this is your place. The food in the restaurant was really good, you could tell they have a good chef.
Cons: Being a 4 stars hotel, they could do a bit better with breakfast. Only a couple is hot dishes available, the rest just hams, cheeses and doughnuts.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Ideal setting for the location and solitude. Standard double room is a little on the small side but perfectly comfortable. Great spa facilities.
7,5 Good
Pros: Lovely stuation ...very well run...lovely restaurant...cheap in comparison....
Cons: Slightly abandoned for breakfast...made to sit on unlayed table...othewise little to carp about...
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location for purposes of the visit.
Cons: Rural accommodation with to many stuff animals on show. B’fast is not that grate.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: V friendly staff, v helpful. Nice and comfy rooms
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I arrived 3 hours late because my transport was not on time. And at the hotel a very sleepy nice old man opened and gave me the keys with a sleepy smile on his face. And he didn't speak english or italian and I didin't speak spanish. But everything was perfect. As for the room it was nice for one night stay. Everything was clean and tidy. There is nothing special to say about the location because everything in Cazorla is very close.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and always available when required. The room and toilet were very clean and comfortable and peaceful. I would say good value for money. Bed very comfortable. Good quality shower. Hot water through out the day. Philip and Igone.
Cons: Nothing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The attention of the wonderful staff can't be beat. They are very welcoming and kind. The rooms were extremely clean and just the right size. You can tell the hosts take pride in their hotel and want you to have a pleasant stay. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. The price was perfect. The location was about a 7-10 minute walk to the main plaza. We definitely would stay there again.
Cons: The pillows in the bed were a little hard, but I'm picky, so it didn't really affect the overall stay.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It's a traditional family run budget hotel. Very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, especially the home-made walnut cake which was delicious. The staff (owners?) were friendly and helpful. All in all, the hotel was exactly what we wanted, and excellent value for money.
Cons: It's a bit of a walk from the old part of town in the heat of August, but not a big problem, and wouldn't be an issue at all at other times of year. (Don't go to Cazorla if you don't like walking, it's very hilly!)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A lovely family run hotel, that is terrific value for money. Big rooms, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Gemma the daughter of the family hotel, was great with communication, friendly and speaks English.

Pros: Although basic the hotel was all we needed for our 3day stay. Very Spanish. Breakfast was plain, but good. We ate at the hotel on our last night and had a really enjoyable meal at a very reasonable cost.
Cons: Air conditioning in the bedroom could have been better.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very central
Cons: We were unfortunate perhaps that there was a group of several familes, who knew each other, staying in rooms surrounding ours. They had several small children and surprisingly stayed out until 1.30 am when they all returned and chatted/played/shouted/banged doors in the corridor until 2 am. I did go out twice and asked them to please be quiet, but to no avail.

Pros: Amazing location. Baeautiful garden bigg pool with a great view. Excellent hiking and biking from the hotel.
Cons: Our room was very small. More like a mountain lodge. The hotel is in the middle of a natural park, which is as expected, If you do not want drive 30 minutes on a mountain road, you must eat at the hotel. This is ok, but they have a rather resticted menu.

Pros: Everything. Food was excellent and the location was breathtaking with plenty of wildlife. The staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Pet friendly! I can see they treat animals very well and they are all very welcome! It was a secluded location to relax, exactly what I was expecting. The cook is fabulous!!! Especially when it comes to desserts!!! He makes delicious food in general!! We had dinner both nights and we were delighted we had made this choice! The bedroom was very cosy despite the cold outside.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't a buffet, and I feel uncomfortable because I can't choose and eat exactly what I want.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and its quaintness .
Cons: Lack of an alternative meal or snack
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best hotels we have stopped in, When we left the main road down to the hotel we saw wild deer & wild boar roaming in the forest. The hotel gardens are amazing & well kept, we were booked in & given a warm welcome by a lady called " Maria " who was very nice & very helpful. The rooms were really nice with great views of the gardens, everywhere was spotless & clean as a whistle. We sat at night next to a log fire in very comfortable surroundings & enjoyed a drink then got up after a good nights sleep & enjoyed a lovely breakfast before going out. The staff were really nice & friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them we will revisit this hotel in the future.
Cons: We loved everything
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nobody, apart from 1 empoyee spoke english, but everyone was very helpful and friendly. The hotel ist very nice, rooms clean and comfortable. A lot of wildlife just in Front of the hotel.

6,3 Good
Pros: Good shower, the location and the natural surroundings
Cons: The food and the bed was uncomfortable.
7,9 Good
Pros: Beautiful old building in a natural setting. Staff were extremely accommodating
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Hotel pitoresque decorated in old monastery style. Nice alones standing treerooms at the Riverside.
Cons: We stayed in room 301 on the 2nd floor. 1/Meaness on the lighting. The light in the room was so fun you could not read. Burned lightbulb did get replaced. At night everything was pitch-dark, also outside. Without a torch impossible to find your car. 2/WIFI in the room did not work.the signal was so weak moist appliances did not detect a network. 3/TV reception only Spanish and very bad reception quality. In a 3star hotel you expect satélite TV with international channels. 4/never received clean towels in a week. Bathroom floor never washed. The bathmat got extremely dirty. 5/breakfast only from 9am!! In a nature area where the guests want to go early to walk and see wildlife this is way too late!!!! Normal hotels serve breakfast at 7.30 or latest at 8am. 6/the hotel seemed to have been taken over by new people. The staff was still searching and learning how to serve and operate things. 7/ the hotel is infested with flies. In the room when you opened a window you got 100 flies in the room/bathroom. Horrible.
