Pros: The resort staff coped magnificently in the current Covid 19 situation. The were professional and extremely thorough. Very polite and welcoming. The room was cleaned really well every day. It was a busy time, but they really did do their utmost to keep things meeting the Gvmt SOP. On one of the evenings, we unfortunately got stranded at the Puteh Beach Bar and could not get a Grab/taxi back to Hyatt. I called the Hyatt reception and the staff helped rescue us!

Pros:
Cons: The service in general. Service at the restaurants very slow and sometimes they make mistakes with the orders . No soap in the room because they were running out of it? Towels for the swimming pool in the morning at 9:30 AM are not ready and must wait 20 to 30 minutes to get them. Front desk staff not very helpful to solve problems.

Cons: Small room as well as small bathroom. Paintings left on the shelf instead of being hung on the wall a a sign that room is not yet fully ready. TV not easy to operate. Difficulty to switch channels.
Air conditioning fairly noisy.

Pros: The breakfast was really good. Food choices was great. Everything was really delicious. Went to the beach, Was great too. The Facilities, as the swing and everything was nicely maintained and kept. Even with the hotels being really full due to school holidays, the place is still clean and nicely maintained for an old hotel. My favourite was the gift shop, near the reception. It has everything one could need and still affordable.

Pros: 3 hours drive from KL and you will land in a luxury hotel by the beach with mid-budget. Port Dickson and the east coast of Malaysia is a bit dirty and the beach is silent. The west coast in Kuantan is very close to KL, windy and waves, I like :). Very interesting beach. nice pool in the hotel for kids with a couple of slides that keep the kids busy. What I like the most was the beach, it is very wide. the tide is huge, which makes a flat sand beach that helps you to have nice jogging. the water was a bit rough because of the monsoon but still enjoyable. We were offered a room that we didn't like and the staff offered us a much better room with a better view. I am grateful for that. The room was clean, spacious, TV has a Disney channel for kids. It was very quiet.

Pros: They upgraded us to an adjoining suite + room since the family room I booked was not available. It was a pleasant surprise as this was my first visit there. We loved how near it was to the beach and the quaint area where they let the kids play with rabbits and large bubbles for a small fee. A memorable short stay.

Cons: Couple downside were, the beach bar was really pricey. Ordered RM18 for a cup of juice. Ridiculous. That was a bit much as its only in a paper cup. Not like those fancy tall juice glasses. So nah, that sucks. Also, we stayed in a room where the aircond was leaking. Maintenance was really quick when we called to get it fix. But housekeeping didnt show up to clean up the puddles. Didnt make a big fuss as it was late night and we just wanted to sleep by then. Overall good stay. Just little things can be improved.

Cons: Breakfast was nice, you can find a good variety. But if you stay long, western breakfast doesn't change much. But still, the quality was nice.

Cons: It is nice to see a lot of greenery but if they are blocking the nice view of the sea. I think it is a pity. I paid for the sea or pool view room but when I checked in, I was disappointed with the blockage of the trees. I was on the first floor and I understood the hotel is fully booked for the long weekend.

Cons: They need an information service to provide local map, details for local transport, tours and general information. There was no pre-warning of the Dress code requirement for pool area which made it difficult to use especially for women and discomfort was caused. This was not expected.
