I’ve used the company many times but they flat out refused to accept the credit card I use all around the world because it’s not a ‘high street bank’ Gave me no alternative or provided any help and said unless I have another credit card (even though they accepted the same card a month prior at a different airport), I cannot have a car So I was left stranded with no car at 23:00 in -5° in Poland He says it’s in their T’s & C’s but it’s not on any of the requirements on any 3rd party booking website (confirmed by booking.com when I reached out to them)
My family and I had one of the worst rental experiences we’ve ever had with this company. We landed after a long flight with our 3-month-old baby, only to be told by customer service to wait at the airport because they “didn’t have a car available.” We waited for over one hour before anyone showed up to pick us up. When we finally arrived at the rental counter, the service was awful. They tried to give us a completely different vehicle than the one we had already paid for in advance, and then attempted to charge us extra for almost everything. It felt incredibly dishonest. Throughout the rental, contacting customer service was nearly impossible. Nobody answered the phone; I had to call over and over again just to reach someone. The worst part came after we returned the vehicle. We received a confirmation stating the car was returned in perfect condition and with a full tank of gas, exactly as required. Despite that, we were charged an additional fee with absolutely no explanation. And again, customer service doesn’t pick up the phone. At this point, this company honestly feels like a scam. I would strongly recommend avoiding them.
I’m well travelled person who rented cars all over the world and I can say that my experience with CarWiz in Krakow was the worst. When I returned the car the guy at the desk told me that I have to wash it before return,moreover to wash it for my cost. So I went to wash it in order to get my deposit back.After that he said I need to wait 20 minutes while he will check the car. They do it deliberately ,as usually customers are late for their flight and can’t wait ,so they probably want to claim some fake damages when customers already left. But I was waiting until it was confirmed that car is fine( I had full coverage anyway , but not from them directly). Deposit was supposed to be 5100zl but they charged me 6100zl. Staff was extreamly rude on drop off, especially the guy who worked there on 12th of December launch time. In front of me he just cancelled the reservation of another couple who travelled from Israel, as they also were not very happy about approach from the desk guy.And those older people had to get back to terminal to make reservation with some other company!!!Now I need to wait 28 days for my deposit to be release , even after it was confirmed that car is absolutely fine. Once you are not polish then you will get from them the approach that we had. I would recommend to stay away from Car Wiz in Krakow airport as its staff have absolutely no knowledge about customer service attitude and approach.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with your rental service. I had reserved a Porsche Cayenne SUV, but upon arrival, I was informed that this vehicle is not even part of your fleet. This is blatant false advertising and completely unacceptable. Instead of receiving the premium SUV I had booked and paid for, I was given a small sedan, which was entirely inadequate for our group and luggage. As a result, we had to inconvenience a family member to transport part of our luggage separately, causing unnecessary stress and logistical issues. Not only did I overpay for a vehicle I never received, but I also missed the opportunity to rent from a more honest provider. This experience was frustrating, misleading, and fell far short of the service I expected. I am demanding a full refund for the false advertisement and for being charged for a class of vehicle that was not delivered. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter.

This company uses bait and switch tactics. I paid for a luxury Porsche Cayenne SUV with an MSRP of over $100,000. What I got was an Audi Q5 that was half the value. when I asked the lady for the Porsche, she explained to me that they don’t even have one at that airport.
