Crown Piast Hotel & Park

SPA was very disappointing and the main reason for booking this Hotel. Could only access it from 4pm untill 11pm and there was a charge of 45 zlotys each. Jacuzzi was cold and so was the swimming pool. wasn't able to get a massage, reception contacted an external company to do it but wanted to do it in our Room and not using the hotel spa facilities so we cancelled. Breakfast was okay, staff where helpful and nice people. Overall Hotel was good , nice and clean just ashame about the SPA as it looks really good but doesn't live up to expectations.

SPA was poor.

The hotel is well located, near the main roads and easily accessible. As the airport is very close you need to be prepared for some noise from landing aircraft (even with close windows you can hear them). Parking is next to the hotel entrance and needs to be paid separately. The hotel is near the city center (not a walking distance) just about a few minutes by car. There is also a lot of possibilities for shopping and fast food around the hotel.

The chek-in procedure did not go well. There was only a single lady, in stress trying to check-in 4 guests arriving at same time. This also affect her friendliness. The SPA is fine for only a short visit - max. 1-2 hours. The jacuzzi was with cold water, saunas have glass walls, so lot of hot air is going out. The pool is available, but only outside and cold. Slippers you find at the room are just for passing the corridors, watch out slippery areas with them. The bed was not very comfortable, for this kind of hotel, would expect better mattresses.
