The place and the staff were amazing. The rooms are very very spacious and everything is so clean. Breakfast is delicious. The commun places are very well kept, the garden well taken care of. The manager is so helpful and kind, he makes everything easy and comfortable! Compare to other hotels, this place a really great value for money.
Unfortunately, we were staying when the owners were also there. They made us feel uncomfortable for different reasons, telling the staff to tell us that some things were forbidden, when they are usually not. It put us and the staff in an uncomfortable situation as they could not explain the news rules and the owner refused to come and talk to us directly. We actually shortened our stay because of this. However, they are only there a few weeks a year, so it shouldn't be a problem for your stay.
The resort is fantastic, the bedroom is amazing, the bathroom is huge and everything was very well cleaned. The food was good. And it’s really well located.
24 hours pool, clean rooms, welcome and goodbye room decorations, huge beds. Being in the west part of the island, if it’s not cloudy is ideal for sunset.
We arrived around 8.30 and head straight towards the restaurant. Once arrived, the waitress told us there were plenty of outstanding orders so she asked us to go to our room. There was nobody to be seen in the restaurant so we insisted to stay (the restaurant close at 10 pm) and have been served in 10/15 minutes. Another couple arrived 30’ later and went back to their room. The beach in front of the resort is small and the sea is far from what you’d imagine. The seabed is muddy and you have to walk at least 100 meters to wet more then your ankles. The bathroom will be probably 20 square meter but toilets and shower are reduced to a 1 square meter box and, if you are tall, say goodbye to your privacy. Despite having a NO pets policy, a couple have 2 dogs walking freely around the resort. We were comfortable with it but is you are scared by dogs make sure to ask clearly if the rule will be bent during your stay. The resort policy for anything bought at the bar/restaurant is quite foggy. Sometimes you signed a receipt, sometimes you don’t and, even if we found nothing unexpected in our room bills, the procedure should be clarified to avoid misunderstanding. The place is totally isolated. Nathan, the first populated village is 10’ drive from the resort and you cannot walk there. Because of that, the price in the bar and in the restaurant are more London style then Thailand’s. Almost 20 bucks for a really poor breakfast and some bread selection are definitely too much. Dinner was more expensive then the island average as well so, after the first day we went to the resort next door where portions were bigger and prices lower. We also tried to rent a motorbike but the receptionist struggled with English and failed to answer simply question about the insurance (we asked for theft and fire cover and she told there was none, we than asked for third party liability and she also told us there was no insurance in place) so we gave up.
We absolutely loved our stay ! You get a big apartment, massive comfy bed, luggage room masseuse table where the masseuse lady comes to you so you can experience it in your own villa, huge dressing room with shower and 2!toilets. Everything was super clean and the staff were very attentive. The property only has 10villas so you almost feel like it’s your own little complex. Restaurant was nice and overlooks a nice little beach which as tree swings for that perfect picture. Sadly we only booked for 4 days. We did ask to extend but they were booked up. I really recommend booking if you like your luxury comforts. I would recommend booking a car to get around if you like visiting different restaurants and getting around ( that’s just us personally though) the staff sorted out our car in five minutes. Everything is fairly cheap and they don’t rip people off.I can’t recommend this place enough. You also have a huge pool looking over the beach. We booked into another villa after our stay that was more expensive and better start star rating and it did not come close to siam boutique.
Nothing loved everything:)
Food , and room was really nice
