The beds were very hard, hairdryer didn't work and bathroom was quite old and looked dirty. Food at the hotel restaurant was quite bad and breakfast was very average. For the price, I expected much more
The Hotel is situated on a street at the river’s shore. I had a very nice view down to the water and the other side of the city. Room was very clean, nicely furnished but in a simple and basic style. Nice bathroom with tub. Lobby was huge, had nice souvenir shops, cafes and bars.
The requested early check in was not possible. Staff not very professional in more then providing a map and check in and out and at least calling taxis. Lack of service skills and interest for visitors needs. I was asking if there are boats to Lake Baikal, staff denied but I found out myself there were some. They denied to book for me so I did it myself in the lobby by smartphone. I was asking if there are theatre performance, staff said there aren’t any but as I walked at the Drama theatre there was a festival with 3 performances at that day. Theatre companies were staying in the hotel but staff didn’t know about....here there must happen an improvement. Breakfast a bit basic and breakfast room big but not nice.
+ Very helpful front desk staff + Convenient location + Very good breakfast + Free water & hot water in the hallway
+ Towels and shower are placed too high near the ceiling. As a short adult, I couldn't reach them.
Great location close to everything.
I was there twice, all the above is for the first night, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with great view and everthing was fantastic, few days later we got a normal room, it was not as clean very small and smelled strange. we wanted to change but we were told that there are no other rooms. Stuff was very helpful and nice
read the above and then you get the full picture of what i didn't like
