In the heart of Strasbourg, a stone's throw from the Cathedral, the Cour du Corbeau hotel, a member of the MGallery collection, combines history and modernity. In a setting that dates back to 1528, this 4-star hotel elegantly combines the charm of yesteryear with a more modern feel, giving its 63 rooms a unique identity. Guests are invited to step back in time and follow in the footsteps of Marshall Turenne (1647) or travel incognito like the Prussian King Frederick the Great in 1740
Pros: This is a lovely hotel. The location is excellent- ideal for walking around Strasbourg. My room was much larger than I’d expected with a bath and a gorgeous walk-in shower. The breakfast was also fantastic- fresh, delicious food- and the staff were excellent- very attentive and helpful. The service was faultless. Having stayed in a few places in Strasbourg I am convinced that this is the best hotel in the city.
Cons: The WiFi is not very good- particularly in the bedrooms.
Pros: That is was already a hotel about 500 years ago...not many places can say that!
Pros: Great hotel with history! Incredible architecture and modern rooms. Good breakfast (possible to order porridge or dish from eggs: I've got tasty omelette). Great staff! Very comfortable rooms with great avenities and view over courtyard.
Cons: It was only one problem for us that we've left earlier: no sauna or steam room in hotel.
Pros: Location is excellent ! Staff was very helpful , room was clean and bed was comfortable
Cons: The Bar / Restaurant didn’t seem to offer a lot , but waiter was extremely nice when we stopped in for a drink
Pros: Excellent hote, totally romantic, quiet, friendly staff huge room super shower and bathtub super clean very very nice I’ll go back again
Cons: Everything was amazing
Pros: The triple room we booked was very spacious and the bathroom was enormous. Breakfast was excellent quality, but it is served in a relatively small area, which can get quite busy. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very polite and spoke several languages. The best thing about this hotel is its location: you are just outside the historical centre and all the great sites, including the amazing cathedral, are a short walk away. The hotel is very well appointed.
Cons: A little bit difficult to get to the hotel - you have to follow the directions to get to its side entry, if you have heavy luggage.
Pros: The location
Cons: The safe box can be open be entering 000000
Pros: Location is perfect Staffs are super friendly and helpful Comfy bed and nice room
A stay at Le Bouclier d'Or places you in the heart of Strasbourg, within a 10-minute walk of Covered Bridge and Strasbourg Cathedral. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
Pros: atmosphere was great Staff were great
Cons: Difficulty in not being allowed access to the hotel until staff lowered the barrier Breakfast and brunch were not great
Pros: The friendly staff, they went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. Many of the hotel associates spoke French, German and/or English. Breakfast was very very good. It was right at the entrance to petit france and all the surrounding Christmas markets.
Cons: Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
Pros: Amazing location and beautiful rooms
Cons: Nothing - loved it all
Pros: Hotel is so nice and staffs are all great service minded
Pros: Mrs. Jung (hotel owner) was delightful and made our accomodation absolutely enjoyable. Would recommend this location as the room, staff, breakfast and spa were top notch. The location was very close to everything and so cute. Will return!
Prestige, history, elegance, cozy charm, located in the heart of Strasbourg, only a few steps away from the Cathedral, and close to the European Institutions, this is a magical place where time seems to have stood still. The Regent Contades, BW Premier Collection® is a magnificent 19th century mansion with a stunning facade. Located on the banks of the River Ill, our establishment is the ideal starting point for an on-foot discovery of Strasbourg, all its places of interest, and its gastronomic delights.
Pros: Location very good, nice and quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice at breakfast although a bit expensive - lovely breakfast room though
Cons: Strong smell of cannabis on the 4th and 5th floor when we checked in - a little strange for a no smoking hotel!! Junior suite isn’t really a suite as such, just larger than normal I presume.
Pros: location excellent, staff friendly and helpful...
Pros: The breakfast was plentiful and service very good
Cons: Smokers outside the entrance door and cigarette smoke filled lobby and bar. The smokers must be away from the entrance. We couldn’t enjoy the lobby or bar for all the smoke coming in from outside the entrance. Awful!
Pros: The breakfast was really good: the food-quality as well as the preparation and the ambience was really awesome. What a great pleasure to start into a new day!
Cons: As other guests already mentioned: Unfortunately the parking situation around the hotel was problematic. Most parking spaces are occupied and the hotel garage does fit cars with a height of 2 meters.
Cons: Le prix et la classification ne correspond a la realite very small hotel. the breakfast was included in booking but at the hotel yu should pay.
Cons: Restaurant is too small,no elevator to top floor
Pros: Room was outstanding and very comfortable beds. Beautiful facilities in the room. Staff were amazing especially Eric in the bar. Location was great and within 5-10 minutes walk from the cathedral and most tourist areas.
Cons: The breakfast room was very small for the size of the hotel. This meant it was awkward to move around and at one point my friends and I were sat separately as there were no seats available together.
Pros: Simple and elegant. fruendly staff.
Pros: We loved the old world charm combined with very comfortable and modern touches. Our room was 506, very spacious and do quiet, with a bath, but please note the lift only goes to 4th level so there are stairs to navigate which may not suit all. Room service food was average so would probably recommend eating out if you can. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we did a walking tour of the old city and Petite France which was excellent. This is such an authentic French city with loads of charm.
Cons: No restaurant on the premises for lunch or dinner, only breakfast.
Pros: My friends and I stayed at the hotel on a girls weekend away. The staff were very courteous and helpful. it was in a great location, not too far from the old town centre and shopping areas and a very comfortable hotel. The value for money for a room to share was excellent, in our opinion.
Pros: Staff was very accomodating. Accomodations were acceptable. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent as it is 5-10 minutes walking distance from several attractions and shopping. I found my new romantic retreat.
Cons: the room was too warm...hot. No restaurant
Pros: Friendlyness of staff, spacy room,
Cons: Lobby was narrow
Pros: It was clean and represented france with it's traditional interior decorations. This was something we had wanted of places we visited and not just any hotel. Price was a bit steep considering distance from center was still quite a walk. quiet surroundings and clean.
Cons: The distance from htoel to center of Strasbourg, which was the Cathedrale
Pros: Very Comfortable Room
Cons: This hotel is impossible to find with a car. a gps does not give accurate guidance and the hotel staff (knowing this fact) did not give adequate help. After arriving in the city I wasted over 2 hours getting my vehicle to the hotel entrance.
Cons: Definitely not a 4 stars hotel.
Pros: The bathroom.
Pros: Nice, quiet area but within walking distance of main attractions in Strasbourg France
Cons: No on site restaurant
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: Can't think of anything!
Pros: Good location. Staff very friendly. Nice room.
A stay at Maison Lutetia R.(ex- Hotel Royal Lutetia) places you in the heart of Strasbourg, within a 15-minute walk of Tomi Ungerer Museum and Strasbourg Cathedral. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby.
Pros: Very very pleasant and super clean hotel. It was a 3 star but didn’t lack anything. Nice staff, convenient location.
Pros: - super friendly and helpful staff - clean and nice room with quality bed - nice breakfast
Cons: - A bit of distance from the station and to city centre. (still walkable though) - There was fridge, but not properly working.
Pros: Great breakfast! Friendly staff! Very clean! Location was great. Terrible lighting!
Cons: Lighting could be better! Shampoo and soap terrible
Pros: Good hotel, pretty decent value for money, and good location - not in the old town center, but only a 5 min walk away. Recommended.
Cons: Nothing, really, perhaps that I specifically booked a room with a balcony, and while it did have a balcony - 2 actually - they were so tiny you couldn't sit outside, let alone bring out a chair or anything. So if you want a 'real' balcony, look elsewhere. Minor point though, it's a good hotel.
Pros: Amazing hospitality in a beautiful clean room
Cons: I have an issue with hotels having a "no eating in the room" policy. Really. I think I pay enough to stay and if I don't have time to make it to a restaurant then I should be able to eat something small in the hotel room, it does happen depending on your traveling schedule.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Strasbourg? This hotel has facilities measuring 2691 square feet (250 square meters), including conference space.
Pros: Room overlooked the street where Christmas Markets reveled marched. Central location, many sights within a short walk, not far from the train station.
Pros: Everything. The interior was luxurious. The wine was fantastic. The staff were very knowledgeable about wine selections. It was a beautiful stay. Definitely worth coming back in the future. Staff at the front desk were very friendly.
Pros: Excellent boutique hotel in the middle of city. Plenty of character and helpful staff.
Pros: very clean rooms, and excellent staff and location,
Pros: Wonderful staff and clean rooms. Easily accessible from the train station and also to the major squares. Helpful reception staff were able to direct us to interesting spots and tasty bistros.
The hotel has received the European Eco-label certification. The label distinguishes services and products that meet high standards of both performance and environmental quality. Centrally located near the TGV train station, historic quarters and shopping. Comforting and welcoming, the Best Western Plus® Monopole Metropole is mirroring the harmonious diversity of the city. You can stay in a room decorated in traditional Alsatian style or a contemporary room complete with original paintings. Enjoy your stay.
Pros: Walking distance to central Strasbourg. The area felt safe even after dark. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We would stay here again.
Cons: The parking was full when we checked in on Friday at 4pm, but it was the opening weekend of the Christmas market so it’s understandable.
Pros: Hotel staffs, room and location
Pros: Breakfast good
Pros: Stuff very kind and helpful ,bed extra comfy
Pros: Ease of check in.Size of the room.
Cons: The floor was a little squeeky
Pros: The location is good. Large TV-screen with a choice of different international channels. Clean room. WiFi worked without any problems. Very nice breakfast.
Cons: The room itself was a disappointment. We had chosen a 4-star hotel, looked at the photos, read what others had written about the hotel. We asked for quiet room when we booked about a month in advance. The room we got was small, the toilet itself (without handbasin) in a wardrobelike room, the bathroom across the room. Small windows with no view. Room was located towards a narrow courtyard. About 5-6 a.m. staff arrived and spent time talking and laughing in the courtyard, there went our "quiet" room. We were surprised that they gave us such a room. The room should only be used as an emergency solution if the hotel is fully booked which it wasn´t. We managed to get 15% of the price when we complained.
Pros: I believe I have already reviewed this hotel but am doing so again because we had such a pleasant stay. The staff here is wonderful and ensures that one has a grand time while in Strasbourg. A family operation that brings great credit to Best Western!
Cons: Nothing negative. Hotel public areas are filled with thoughtfully collected antiques & collectibles. Beautiful boiserie in the Salon. Hot pretzels at the desk. Private & secure parking. Modern rooms in an atmosphere of old world charm! Kudos to all!
Pros: The folks here are responsive and helpful. The hotel itself is within walking distance of all the sights of the old town. Nice modern rooms, great breakfast in a clean, well-kept environment. Parking in their garage was made much easier by the gentleman who knows how to handle the tight spaces. Cindy's (at the desk) recommendation for dinner was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again.
Pros: I like the different type of cheese present
Cons: same breakfeast for 4 days. Pork sausages only ( muslim doesn't consume pork would suggest chicken sausages which can be consumed by everyone) more hot plats in breakfeast
Pros: Location is perfect; rooms are a bit on a small side, but functional, also quiet; bathroom is nice and big ; kettle and daily supply of coffee and tea bags; bed is comfortable, but pillows (feather) not so much.
Pros: Who knew a Best Western would be this nice! Great property. Public rooms are filled with antiques and collectibles. Lovely staff was attentive to every need we had. Valet parking was a great bonus and very convenient. Would certainly book again!
Cons: Nothing, All was wonderful...thank you again for changing my opinion of Best Western!
With a stay at Hôtel & Spa RÉGENT PETITE FRANCE in Strasbourg (Petite-France), you'll be a 3-minute walk from Covered Bridge and 10 minutes by foot from Strasbourg Cathedral. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in.
Pros: The location was just what we wanted. Beautiful area and walking was interesting and fun.
Pros: Perfect stay :) they gave us champagne and chocolate to celebrate our honeymoon too, very nice of them!
Pros: The hotel is absolutley lovely. Situated right on the river, in the historical center, close to everything. The hotel staff very nice and helpfull. Breakfast was delicious. The coffee amazing. The room was spacious, a big and confy bed, confy pillows...everything was perfect!
Cons: The weather...it was rainy and i couldn' t enjoy my beautiful terrace :)
Pros: Location was perfect and the service was excellent.
Cons: The bed could’ve been softer.
Pros: room and location great
Cons: breakfast... poor choice for a 5 star hotel. very average coffee, insufficient space, surprisingly inefficient staff.
Pros: Location Location and clean near to the shops closed attractions thank you
Pros: Great location in petit France. Comfortable bed.
Cons: The hotel was nice not for a 5 star hotel some things should not be that way. having a bath tub without a shower curtain which is located under a sloping roof was very uncomfortable (you would flush the entire bathroom and had to take a shower bend in your knees) and indeed not okay in my eyes for a 5 star hotel. Furthermore in the gym having 2 out of 4 equipments not running should also not happen in a 5 star hotel.
Pros: Very nice hotel with lovely bar overlooking river. Clean room with perfectly comfortable bed. Attention to details to make sure your stay is perfect i.e. new towels and prepared bed for sleep after you return from spa.
Cons: During our stay the Jacuzzi was not working.
Pros: Staff was helpful and accommodating. It would have been a great location if coming by bus or train.
Cons: Very difficult to drive to. We had difficulties finding the property with GPS. Fortunately we were able to find parking as it was a Sunday night. Otherwise you will have to pay for valet parking. Room did not have a view, and was a looked a little dated.
With a stay at Hôtel Gutenberg, you'll be centrally located in Strasbourg, within a 5-minute walk of Strasbourg Cathedral and Alsatian Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out.
Pros: The hotel was exceptionally well upgraded. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The room was perfect for a couple and the breakfast delicious.
Cons: I have nothing bad to say.
Pros: Amazing staff and the room was so cozy -attic
Pros: Strasbourg is absolutely beautiful
Pros: This was the first time that I visited Strasbourg. Without knowing anything about the city, I booked my stay at Hôtel Gutenberg. The location is centrally located The Cathédral Notre Dame de Strasbourg was no more than 150(est) meters away. The part of the city that is located on the island is walkable. There is tram service if one desires. I walked from the train station to the hotel and estimate that it was 15 minutes (I walk fairly quickly). If I return to Strasbourg, I will consider this as my first choice.
Pros: location, but it does not worth the money
Pros: Location location location . Awesome location in historic district. Just a couple minutes walk to Cathedral. Clean hotel lobby and room very clean Bathroom very modern and my 10 yr old daughter loved the rain showerhead Has a new renovation feel Staff very nice and helpful as a tour guide ask for the tour map Room size not an issue no its not huge but it wasn't tiny either Ask for parking lot location . Sundays you can park on streets for free overnight if you can find a space that saves $30 Make sure you walk city at sunset it's amazing. I heard the boatride at that time is breathtaking
Cons: My daughter thought elevator door shut too slow. Had to put something!
Pros: Nice place
Cons: The bed was short
A stay at Hotel D Strasbourg places you in the heart of Strasbourg, within a 15-minute walk of Tomi Ungerer Museum and Strasbourg Cathedral. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Clean rooms, but quite small. Sqweaky noise when someone went by on the corridor. A/C was not working. Average breakfast. Some employees do not speak much English.
Pros: Breakfasted elsewhere - prefer to get out and about
Cons: the only issue was that the room was very hot and windows not openable. I did ring reception and they were able to bring it down a bit
Pros: Great hotel in a good location. The staff were very helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. Comfortable and clean.
Cons: Parking a little expensive but not bad for the location
Pros: The staff were very helpful and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and the decor in the breakfast room is very nice.
Cons: Only thing I did not like is that our rooms were rather small however the ones overlooking the main road seemed to be more spacious.
With a stay at Hotel Du Dragon, you'll be centrally located in Strasbourg, just a 4-minute walk from Alsatian Museum and 8 minutes by foot from L'Oeuvre Notre Dame Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
Pros: Clean,nice stuff,helpful and professional,great bad
Cons: Tiny bathroom
Pros: Amazing breakfast Cozy room Really nice staff
Cons: Parking is in a public parking space, roughly 10 minutes from the hotel for 16€/24hrs
Pros: There location is perfect
Cons: Extremely small room, expensive and over rated breakfast, shower flooded very easily, poor wifi.
Pros: Nicely located close to the old town
Cons: Based on the room information and images on booking I've reserved a classic room. Too my surprise I recieved a tiny roof top room with a spiral staircase inside. When I've asked the reception about the misleading she insisted that it was a classic and not the lower grade "standard room" as standard room was smaller... Bottom line - hotel presentation cannot be trusted! Besides - wifi did not work Air condition didnt work until I complained (it was a roof top room...) Parking is 10 min walk or so - be prepared
Pros: Nice location in the centre of Strassbourg. Clean room. Nice bathroom.
Cons: Parking expensive in the direct neighbourhood. Needed to go to public parking at 10 minutes distance. Room very small. There was a mouse on the floor walking of the breakfast room.
Pros: Nice decor, good location, really friendly staff, quiet room.
Cons: Ropey wifi signal some of the time. Room designed without women in mind. Bathroom has no place to set things down, so really awkward for doing hair and makeup. Desk has no mirror or available electric point, so can’t be used as a dressing table. Hanging area not tall enough to accommodate a dress, so everything gets wrinkled at the bottom.
Pros: The kindness and willigness to help from the people from the front desk. Excellent customer service!
Cons: The internet connection did not work at all during our stay. That is something unacceptable for me for a 4 star hotel.
With a stay at Hotel Beaucour, you'll be centrally located in Strasbourg, steps from Alsatian Museum and within a 5-minute walk of L'Oeuvre Notre Dame Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Strasbourg? This hotel features 280 square feet (26 square meters) of event facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: What a fabulous central place to stay. We loved it and enjoyed our stay immensely. So close to great tourist attractions and places to eat all within walking distance.
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent- ideal for walking around the town. The room was fine, not quite up to the standard you’d expect from a four star hotel but it was comfortable and cosy and had no major problems.
Cons: For the price and the four star rating there are definitely nicer hotels in Strasbourg. The ‘extras’ they emailed me to offer (toiletries, pillows etc) were not provided (as these were extra services I didn’t mind but why offer and have guests fill in a questionnaire and then not provide them?) The whirlpool bath wasn’t working and wasn’t quite as clean as I would expect. They also have an all-in-one hair/face/body wash rather than shampoo and conditioner- which again is fine- but not what you’d expect from a four star. While the room is cosy, the decor was slightly outdated. My stay was perfectly acceptable, but I wouldn’t stay there again. There are a lot of competing hotels in that area of Strasbourg and I have found better value for money elsewhere.
Pros: simple but enough classic, and i could just skip breakfast if had no time
Pros: Perfect location for the Christmas market and a in really nice part of town- lots of places to eat, drink and shop. Comfortable rooms and we had a view over the rooftops to the Cathedral. The staff were super friendly. Recommend.
Pros: I did not expect it to be so good. The bathroom was magnificent. The room quiet, cosy and comfortable.
Cons: The internet connection was a bit flimsy.
Pros: Great location on the edge of the old city. Easy access to all important sites. Charming old hotel building, comfortable facilities. Convenient parking at Austerlitz parking garage next door. Elevator access to upper floors.
Cons: Limited common areas. No restaurant.
Pros: Proximity to parking garage. Very cheerful surroundings with lovely planter boxes.
Pros: Very charming
With a stay at Hotel Athena Spa in Strasbourg (Hautepierre), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Covered Bridge and Zenith Strasbourg. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Strasbourg? This hotel has facilities measuring 2153 square feet (200 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The Room was great, and the location was great as well
Cons: The restaurant is way over price... specially the breakfast was way to expensive decided to cancelled because its like a cheap continental breakfast buffet but you are paying for 18-20 euros I could have something way better
Pros: Cleanliness, newness, great bed
Cons: No anti-skid on showerfloor
Pros: Absolutely brill..easy walk to the tram.. staff on reception really helpful. Managed to get parking on site. Room lovely. Beds comfy! Went and used the pool on the check out morning which was great.
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: The breakfast!
Cons: The Spa is a bit too small for the size of the hotel and the number of guests on a busy weekend
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: Far away from city center
Pros: - the breakfast buffet is amazing - the dinner was very delicious
Cons: - Spa area is smaller than expected - extra costs for bathrobes - 2 of 3 headrests in the bubble bath are broken - the bedroom was nice but: - garbage can was broken - not able to adjust the air conditioner
Pros: Thw swimming pool was nice and everybody was very kind and considerate. It is a pity that the location is so far away from the city centre, but on the other hand the town is very busy and you can get ther by tram.
Cons: The Breakfast did not have many low-fat options.
Pros: Staff was lovely. Pool and spa open late (23.00) so suitable for business travel
Cons: Requires using taxi or tram to get around
Pros: very good breakfast
Cons: nothing wrong
Our 136 rooms & suites reflect the very special soul of the hotel, a place steeped in history and proud of its Alsatian heritage. Elegant and bright, discover our rooms, some with views of the Cathedral, in the heart of Strasbourg. Equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, offering 4* comfort. Our triple rooms are ideal for families or groups of friends visiting the city.
Pros: Amazing location, near Christmas markets and near the main station, the staff is very helpful and smiley, the room is comfortable, the breakfast is good, we liked everything about this hotel, we will stay again in this hotel, highly recommended.
Cons: Renovation works at the hotel
Pros: Location was great! Staff very polite.
Cons: The staff was slow in cleaning up after breakfast guest and replenishing when empty. My room was very cold, while my colleagues complained about too warm rooms.
Pros: Friendly, professional staff, very clean room & bathroom, Room & bathroom were tight but this is quite typical. Excellent location in center of old part of city near pedestrian streets. Public parking nearby was not overpriced.
Cons: Shabby carpet in room.
Pros: Great location. Hot shower
Cons: Not enough light in the room
Pros: Great place in an outstanding location in a delightful small city!
Cons: Having to leave to go back to work.
Pros: We had a lovely stay once again at Hotel Maison Rouge. The hotel is currently under renovation, but they have done an excellent job of making certain the hotel remains clean and comfortable during the process. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and the location just can't be beat. It was a great place to stay during the Christmas market. I hope we get the chance to return to Strasbourg and stay at the Hotel Maison Rouge once the renovations are complete.
Cons: The room was a bit warm, despite turning the heat down. We had to open a window for a bit to bring the temperature to a more comfortable level. Construction noise began bright and early Monday morning, but we were expecting it so it was not a surprise.
Pros: great location
Cons: we had to wait a long time to get our room, which apparently wasn't ready
Pros: Location was the best thing. Room was good size. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well.
Cons: The breakfast options were very limited. The lobby of the floor was very dark. Room had amazing smart tv but not connected to internet, so was useless as no English content
Cons: Scandalous. No mention whatsoever that the hotel is under renovations and not all rooms are renovated. We were charged full rate for a horrible non-renovated room. The pictures on their site are a lie. Charged for breakfast but nothing to eat at 9am! Never coming back.
Pros: Excellent location, right in the centre of town
Cons: No evening dinner available on site.
Pros: Central position, ideal for walking to the main tourist attractions an restaurants. Close to the shops. Very nicely decorated in the main public areas and the staircase has beautiful glass motifs on each floor along with very attractive ceilings and furnishings on each lobby. The lounge is very nicely set out and we were impressed by the decor throughout. Nice touch is the loan of the hotel umbrellas by the main door if it's raining.
Cons: Very difficult to locate as it is on a non- motorised traffic street and the satnav in our nearly new Volvo XC60 was totally useless once we reached the centre of the city. By luck we parked in the correct underground carpark accessed by the tram interchange at the Klber Square And a short walk to the hotel thereafter. The hotel will provide you with a discount ticket for the underground but we were not certain that it worked for us on leaving yesterday morning so remember to ask reception for the discount ticket. We understood that the hotel has its own carparking facility and when we asked about this we were told that it had to be booked at the same time as the room.
A stay at Hotel Rohan places you in the heart of Strasbourg, steps from L'Oeuvre Notre Dame Museum and Strasbourg Cathedral. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
Pros: Small but interestingly decorated bedroom. Fun lobby. Lovely front desk and restaurant staff.
Cons: Shower flooded the bathroom floor and, if I had not thrown all the towels down, it would have flooded the bedroom as well. They were surely aware of this as the shower head was positioned facing the wall. Once it was turned to focus the water downward, the flooding began. Room 308.
Pros: Rohan is a clean, comfortable, modern hotel in a terrific location in the historic town center. The knowledgeable staff speaks perfect English and is anxious to assist visitors. We particularly appreciated the well-lighted room with plenty of space, an excellent heating system, and fast wi-fi.
Cons: It was great.
Pros: The staff was great, very friendly ans service oriented. They kept my luggage secured for the day as I arrived early for a work meeting and when I came back, the bag was already in the room. Of note I was upgraded to a superior room than the one I had booked and enjoyed a tremendous view on the Cathedral. The central location is also great as the hotel is virtually near everything in Strasbourg.
Cons: The breakfast was OK but not over exciting : a normal continental with eggs and bacon. Knowing that Alsace has a number of local cold cuts specialities (bratwurst, ect), it would have been nice to be offered a small selection. Likewise, it is to bad no berries juices were offered though it is also a local treat.
Pros: Cute hotel excellent location
Cons: Everything was nice
Pros: The people
Cons: The schedule of breakfast
Pros: Brilliant location right in the heart of the city. Less than 1 minute walk from the Cathedral yet extremely quiet rooms. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Only 20 min walk to the main train station.
Cons: Mattress was way past it’s best, felt like sleeping in a hammock!
Pros: Disappointing breakfast. Egg boiler did not work so made a mess of my table when I cracked it!
Cons: Breakfast. Fire alarm at 7am. Somebody smoking???
Pros: Location perfect what I needed on my stay
Cons: All fine
Pros: Clean. Check in was easy and staff was helpful.
Cons: No air conditioning! We were on the top floor in 90 degree weather and it was like an oven. Hardly slept at all it was intolerable. Also insufficient parking.
Pros: This place was in an ideal location, right near the cathedral. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: It's too bad that there's not more parking on-site, but also not really surprising considering it's smack-dab in the middle of the old town. I parked at a garage near the train station and walked in, and that was fine.
Pros: I felt like a valued family member while I was at Hotel Rohan, thanks to all the staff’s attention and hospitality. They did everything they could to make me feel coddled and comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely, and cocktails and coffees were served graciously to me and my guests. The room was comfy, quiet, and impeccable. I will return here my next time in Strasbourg and highly recommend it to anyone traveling here on business or for pleasure. Super hotel experience!
Pros: Great location, just next to the Cathedral. Good staff and bedroom is nice too
With a stay at Hôtel Suisse in Strasbourg (Historic Center), you'll be steps from Rohan Palace and L'Oeuvre Notre Dame Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is superb just next to the cathedral. Also the atmosphare was very cozy.
Pros: perfect staff, location, breakfast
Cons: really small room 8m2 but it was cozy
Pros: Good location, very friendly, clean, nice original ambiance, everything good
Cons: No ashtray in front of the building
Pros: This is a beautiful building situated very close to the river and Cathedral. If you like quirky, and don’t mind stairs and odd levels then it is a delight to stay in this hotel which has a lot of character, and is in a wonderful location.
Cons: For anyone not good with stairs or expecting all the modern fittings, or luxury, look for a more standard hotel. The hot drink facilities consisted of one tea bag with camomile tea, one tube of instant coffee, and one of instant decaf coffee. The bath had steep sides, and it took a while for the shower to get hot - and then took a bit of effort for it not to be scalding hot.
Pros: Room well furnished and decorated , location can’t be more central , the view on the cathedral , good breakfast
Cons: Room a little too tiny
Pros: Definitely exceeded my expectations. While most of the reviews were excellent, I went in thinking the hotel would be old, a little run down and not that clean considering it's an older place. However they really make the fact the hotel is an older place part of the charm! The lobby is very cute, warm and welcoming! Staff were friendly on check in and check out. I arrived early at the receptionist went through a map of the city with me. The room was bigger than I thought. I was a solo traveller and booked a single room, but the bed was a double and the room was quite big. Perfect for two people. The bed was really comfy and clean. The bathroom was quite big as well and nicely renovated. Not at all what's I was expecting... but in a good way!
Cons: While the location is great for being very close to the centre of everything, some of the streets and alleyways around it are quite dark and quiet depending on which direction you are coming from. As a solo traveller, this may make you feel unconfortable. On a positive, it is really close to the main sights and attractions. Another negative is there aren't enough power plugs in the room or plugs close enough to the bed. Maybe there are some in other rooms, or maybe there are some I missed, but t was difficult to want to use electronics when close to the bed.

Cons: Not much
Pros: The best location, clean room, comfortable bed, nice view and kindly staff!!!
Pros: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was better than expected. The reception desk very kind and instructive. Location is great, a few hundred metres from the centre of town. Highly recommended hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
Pros: Small and simple Hotel in neighborhood of main station. Quiet. Nice new small bathroom. Bed was good.
Pros: Great staff, excellent location. The room is ok
Pros: The location
Cons: We informed the staff that the room heater in our room is not working and still they didn't take any action.weasked them to give us another room they said they are fully booked. This is really not acceptable and making are trip really unpleasant.
Pros: Awesome location ( near the train station) and comfy bed
Cons: Small elevator

See hotel page The lovely corbel arch faade of The Originals Boutique, Hotel des Princes, Strasbourg Centre gives a hint of the charm hidden inside this hotel located in a chic area of the Alsatian capital. The European Parliament, embassies, consulates and botanical gardens are nearby, and the city centre is accessible on foot. The hotel staff will warmly welcome you to this 3-star hotel, with 43 guest rooms and open 24 hours. A lovely spot for a comfortable stay in Alsace.
Pros: Very clean hotel in a central location. Good value for money.
Cons: No fridge in the room.
Pros: The staff and the position
Cons: The toilet fan was not working
Pros: The hotel is in the 'consular' section of town, residential and quiet, close to the University and University Palace. Breakfast was reasonably complete (but I'm not a big breakfast eater so can't judge everything). I liked that the lighting is sufficient and comes from varied sources so one can see well regardless of what one is doing. The staff at the reception desk was very helpful with small services.
Cons: Just for completeness, though not really an issue. The bathroom is small (but the WC is separate so that's good for a couple). The hot drinks are in the lobby (no kettle in the room - saves space you could say). If one wants to visit Strasbourg as a tourist you need to decide if you want to be close to a tram stop, because this hotel isn't so close to any of the trams. There are bus lines fairly close by however, which will get you to the train station for example.
Pros: Staff was very welcoming, made us feel comfortable in every way. The hotel is located at approximately 15 minutes walk from the centre and petite france. It was just great. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. A true gem!
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect
Pros: The location (close to the University of Strasbourg), the size of the rooms and the staff
Cons: The breakfast was fine, but it can be improved (especially the salty side)
Best rooms in Illkirch
With a stay at Chambres d'Hôtes La Stoob Strasbourg Sud in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Covered Bridge and Alsatian Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great room in a century old historic building which was beautifully renovated by the owner. Great warm host prepared awesome breakfasts and gave lots of recommendations for locations in the area. Downtown Strasbourg either 15 min by car, or 30 min by nearby tram.
Pros: The owner was perfectly nice. We liked everything about our stay in „La stoob“,
Pros: We had a perfect stay! Very good breakfast!
Pros: Our room was beautifully furnished & decorated, the bathroom large & modern. The owners very welcoming & we had a glass of wine in the courtyard on our arrival.
Pros: The owner Laurence made our stay really special, she went over & beyond with kindness & service. Very clean, fresh sheets, fresh smelling towels!! Owner & daughter both spoke some English which was fantastic! Fresh baked goods daily for breakfast, if you prefer croissants in place of stick bread that can need only to ask, here they aim to please!! Offered to drive us to the hairdresser (tho we walked, wasn't far) & made the apt. for us to get our hair done. We came to stay 6 days in an affordable place & ended up making special new friends. Weren't planning on returning before we stayed here but will be back for sure!!
Cons: Some plants or flowers in the outside seating area.. would make it so much cozier out there :) Bathroom door needs trimmed in downstairs bath as it scrapes the floor when you open or close it. Otherwise.. No complaints!!
Pros: First of all, the owner, this really nice lady herself, who’s heartwarming, funny, open-minded, talkative(but not annoying at all) and very tentative, already made the stay special. We enjoyed our small talks with her at breakfasts, feeling like spending time with a new friend, like staying at home. She always checked with us when we’d like to have breakfast on the next morning and then showed up there every morning, making sure we had everything we needed. There’s a decent choice of breakfast for a small guesthouse, different kinds of cheese, marmalades and breads (sweet and salty). You can pull your hot tee/coffee or grab a cold drink from the fridge anytime you like, like at home:) Oh and we got fresh towels everyday, thanks to the lovely lady. The house speaks for itself, authentic, romantic, well balanced rustic charm and mordern living comfort, with many tasteful decorative details. The location is not only perfect for visiting Strasbourg (20 mins by tram, the station 5 mins walk from the house, the ticket is quite cheap), but also if you wanna take a ride on the famous “Wine Street” and visit those lovely wine villages, just ask the hostess, she’d be happy to offer you insider tips.:) You have everything you need in walking distance here. Last but not the least, you can park your car safely for free in the yard, which normally costs 10 euros or even more per day in the city! All in all, we enjoyed our stay so much here and wanna thank you again for your hospitality and the heartwarming “surprise” for us in the end(it was delicious :)) Schöne Grüße aus Düsseldorf
Pros: Te breakfast was excellent!

Pros: Room clean and comfortable.
Cons: Poor breakfast (half-cooked croissants etc) No iron available for first 36 hours - despite several promises by staff that one would be forthcoming. Staff initially asserted that breakfast was not included in my booking when it was (finally agreed by them). Expensive bar. Very slow checkout process.
Pros: Goed meals, restaurant nice
Cons: The spa and swimming pool is close at 20hrs, after a hard work day you can't relax on the spa
Pros: Excellent location for our business visit. Comfortable room and bed. Nice food in the restaurant. Good breakfast buffet. Pleasant staff.
Pros: Convenience of being close to Thermo for projects and visits.
Cons: Some of the rooms need updating. Overall quality needs a refresh.
Cons: bigger restaurant. it is really neccessary to make a reservation. the nearest place where you can eat is about 5 driving minute. room service is a bad joke when the restaurant is full. you can wait 25 minutes and after that you can be incormed that the order will not be proceed because involves products out off stock. the nearrest sandwich will be prooceed in the next MINIMUM 30 minutes. after 50 minutesi have received my order for free. Conclusion: small number of employers on the full hours
Pros: Hotel and staff were great. Room was spotless and amenities very good. Location was great for visiting nearby companies and tram access into the centre of town made getting about very easy.
Cons: Not much choice for a vegan breakfast.
